The Arrogant Corruption of our U.S. Congress

This past Sunday night, Steve Croft of “60 Minutes” exposed how U.S. Congressional critters cheat, lie and benefit from insider trading on defense contracts. He cornered former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi with her investments gained from her inside knowledge of multi-billion dollar contracts.

Pelosi boasts multi-millionaire status. She responded that everything she had done as to investments was legal. In reality, she cheated before a law could be passed to stop the cheating.

For example, Tour de France bicyclists injected drugs for years to win the coveted title while the ones that played by the rules never had a chance at the victory podium. Once the cheating was deemed illegal, the cheaters had to play by the rules and not inject performance enhancing drugs.

In the same line, Croft interviewed a former U.S. senator who had introduced a “Stock bill” law to stop Pelosi and dozens if not hundreds of other congressional representatives from benefiting from insider trading knowledge as to defense contracts. That senator could only garner six other reps to sign on to the bill. It has languished in committee ever since.

In other words, the people elected to enforce our laws become the people that break our laws or don’t make laws to stop the cheating—in order to benefit themselves.

You wonder why we suffer 15 million unemployed while that same Congress insources, outsources and offshores American jobs. You may become distressed that 8 to 10 million illegal aliens work jobs in America with impunity. You may wonder how come our middle class continues vanishing right before our eyes.

Thomas Jefferson hated Great Britain because the landed gentry, the power elites—either by birth or class status, not talent, maintained a stranglehold on the financial wealth of the empire. The royalty enjoyed wealth by birthright, not by ability, education or personal effort. Even today, Prince Charles has not worked a day in his life. His mother Queen Elizabeth has not completed a single day of work to further her country’s well being. Prince William today walks around with his bride Kate on a free taxpayer ride through life. He is the lucky recipient of the sperm lottery and nothing more.

The common man did not and does not stand a chance against the power elite. Today, the power elite in Washington DC empower themselves to enrich themselves at the expense of our republic.

While Nancy Pelosi and her colleagues enrich themselves with insider information on defense contract business deals, we suffer 15 million unemployed Americans, 45.2 million Americans subsisting on food stamps, $12 billion in costs per month for endless wars, trade deficits and a $14 trillion national debt. Has Barack Obama accomplished anything to solve those problems? Answer: nothing in three years.

How can the common man fight back? Jefferson and the founding brothers gave us a method for dealing with gross incompetence and gross greed.

Vote the critters out of office in the next election!

Why Continue Two Useless Wars?

Our young kids have fought two wars for ten years in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Total cost exceeds $1 trillion.  Result:  horrific deaths on both sides, destruction and no resolution.  Does anyone know or understand why we sent 6,200 kids to their deaths and another 40,000 brought back home without legs and arms or their minds? We can expect a minimum of 100,000 post-war suicides from combat troops with scrambled brains.  That doesn’t count the ones that stumble forward with alcohol, drugs and poverty.

Did we stop terror?

Suicide bombers and killers blow up churches, government buildings and outposts as regularly in Iraq and Afghanistan in 2011 as they did in 2001.  No leader in the United States understands that Muslims will defend their lands against Americans until the last one dies.  We would have to kill every single last one of them to win.

Did we bring democracy to Iraq and Afghanistan?

Iraq and Afghanistan cannot agree on a constitution or path toward peaceful co-existence any more than a bunch of 5^th graders arguing over a jar of cookies.  Karzi is a puppet of the United States.  We send endless billions of dollars to prop up him and Malaki.  We might as well flush that money down a New York City sewer.

Did we find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq?

We found not one single weapon worthy of such fear to go in and blow up an entire country on George W. Bush’s whim.  He caused hundreds of thousands of deaths and 2.5 million refugees.  What he did to Iraq and its citizens defies human understanding.   Lyndon Baines Johnson did the same thing to Vietnam. He killed 58,267 kids while he blew up another 2.1 million Vietnamese.  In his book Fog of War 35 years later, the architect of Vietnam Robert McNamara said, “I made a mistake.”

George W. Bush is too stupid or inept to write a book on how brainless his decision to destroy Iraq and Afghanistan turned out to be.  A full 17 of the purported hijackers came from Saudi Arabia.   Bush should have attacked Saudi Arabia and destroyed that country.

However, overwhelming evidence shows that 9/11 was an inside job.  If it was, George Bush should be brought to trial for crimes against humanity and America.

Iraq provides yet another example of stupid men in power doing stupid things for stupid reasons with incredibly painful outcomes for millions of innocent people, children and countries.

Are we any safer from terror in the United States after 10 years of war?

More terrorists reside in the United States from our irrational immigration policies than ever before.  We’ve got 40,000 MS-13 gang members in 35 states selling drugs to millions of our kids.  (Source: Newsweek)  We have 10 million illegal alien Mexicans stealing jobs from Americans and breaking our laws while we pay for their medical, educational, babies, prison and food needs.  We import 2,000 Muslims per month from places like Palestine, Iraq and Somalia—as refugees—any of them potential terrorists.

Note that Iranian-American immigrant Manssor Arbabsiar attempted to kill a Saudi ambassador this week. Notice American born MuslimAnwar al-Awlaqi inspired the shoe bomber, underwear bomber, New York Times Square bomber and Major Hasan to kill Americans.

Does anyone think that victory can be won against a religious jihadist Muslim group like al-Qaeda?

We would have to kill most of the Muslim world to kill al-Qaeda.  The Koran dictates that all good Muslims “convert or kill non-believers and Jews.”  That’s the prime directive of Islam.  We can pretend it is a peaceful religion, but every terror event in the world since 1972 has been planned and carried out by Muslims.

If we fight for another 10 years to make it a 20 year war, what will we accomplish?

If the American people sit back and do nothing, the military industrial complex will continue those two wars for another 10 years.  The military won’t win, but it won’t lose, but it will continue fighting and dying as it sacrifices our kids in an endless conflict.   We’ll hear weekly news reports that we’re close to victory, but we need another 40,000 troops.  We’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and we don’t want those who have died to have died in vain.   General so and so is making a “new” plan to win the war…ad nausea.

Like corporations that Americans have been protesting against for the past week, the military industrial complex possesses no heart and no conscience.  Young men and women’s deaths mean nothing.

How do we stop those wars, the deaths and the senselessness?

1. We withdraw all our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan immediately.
2. We let their leaders solve their problems.
3. Leaving Muslim lands deletes their reasons for jihad.
4. Enforce our borders with our troops to secure our country.
5. Engage a moratorium on all immigration for 10 years.
6. Use the $12 billion monthly war cost to improve our country.

It’s absolutely crazy to carry on two wars for ten years without any positive result. It’s even crazier to continue fighting them for another 10 years.  It’s even worse that the majority of American citizens lack enough gumption to stand up and speak out against the endless insanity of war perpetrated by our Congress, Bush and now Obama.  In the end, it’s just plain sickening on a mental, physical and spiritual level.

Flash Mobs Feature Black Racial Violence Against Whites

After “Flash Mobs” erupted in Philadelphia, African-American Mayor Nutter said, “You damaged your own race.”

While the public enjoys a snapshot view of the racially charged “Flash Mobs”, the mainstream media dampens its coverage to soften the impact on white America.  Ironically, Mexican “Flash Mobs” have been killing Blacks in Los Angeles for years as reported by the late radio host Terry Anderson.

“Then there are the racial similarities: The attackers are invariably black,” said writer John T. Bennett.  “Blacks are more likely to be victims of violent crime than any other group due to black-on-black crime. “If the races were reversed, we would be witnessing an outpouring of guilt of biblical proportions. Instead, the victims are white and we get an outpouring of ignominious silence. So far, precious few leaders in academia, politics, the legal system, or the media have spoken out directly against this troubling trend.”

With 68 percent of African-American children being raised by single mothers, the poverty, anger and young males entering their teens and early twenties fuels the phenomenon.  The complete breakdown of the African-American family unit gives no role models for young blacks.  They do, however, play in violent media arcades where they play deadly games that foster violent behaviour. They take their anger out on whites:

• At the Wisconsin State fair, groups of black teens numbering anywhere from 25 to 100 “were targeting anyone who was white or appeared to look white,” and beating them, according to the local police chief. At least 18 people were injured, and 30 have been arrested.
• In Denver, couples leaving restaurants were being attacked by a group of black men with baseball bats.
• A young white man named Carter Strange had his skull fractured by a mob in South Carolina. He was attacked at random while jogging.
• A young white man named Dawid Strucinski was beaten into a coma by a mob in Bayonne, NJ.
• Anna Taylor, Emily Guendelsberger, and Thomas Fitzgerald were beaten to the ground and stomped in separate Philadelphia flash mobs.
• “Every weekend in July,” according to local news, “police have battled large, flash-mob beatings and vandalism” in Greensboro, NC.
• In a mostly-white suburb of Cleveland, witnesses reported large groups of young blacks walking through the streets, “shouting profanities and racial epithets,” and one man was viciously beaten while leaving a restaurant with his wife and friends.
• A young white lady named Shaina Perry was taunted and beaten by a black mob in Milwaukee who remarked “Oh, white girl bleeds a lot.”

America has always suffered racial problems from the time of slaves, to the KKK and on to job discrimination.  But today, with Dr. Martin Luther King’s civil rights marches in the past, this country seems to be digressing as 13.4 million children, many of them Blacks, live in extreme poverty. Black dropout rates from high schools exceed 50 percent.  Unemployment rates for Blacks lead all races in percentages.  It’s nearly impossible to hire someone who is illiterate.

When young blacks see others riding in cars, wearing fancy clothes and enjoying the good life, they have found ways to respond.  As our economic conditions continue to degrade and 15 million Americans suffer unemployment—and our Congress continues importing cheap labor at 200,000 immigrants per month—“Flash Mobs” will continue to evolve as a response to African-Americans’ conditions.

Obama Stops Enforcing The Constitution: Free Pass To 20 Million Illegal Aliens

In the most anti-American act of his short term in office, Barack Hussein Obama, an outsider president gave amnesty to over 20 million illegal aliens and possibly a much higher number when the final count arrives.

Obama, America’s chief law enforcement officer, decided to stop enforcing the law.   No more deportations of illegal aliens!  Usurp every legal immigrant and American citizen!  U.S. borders do not mean anything anymore and U.S. sovereignty has been assigned to the highest bidder: employers of illegal aliens.

We will watch a border charge by the world’s poor like never before.  At least three billion people on the planet live on less than $2.00 per day and they all want to come to America “for a better life.”  You can bet a huge percentage of them will do everything they can to cross America’s borders to become a resident of the United States.

But, as they pour over the U.S. border, they degrade the American environment, quality of life and standard of living.  Their numbers cannot be sustained.

Cecilia Munoz, formerly of the racist group La Raza, posted on the  that under the president’s direction an amnesty was declared for illegal aliens in America. In Orwellian Newspeak she said, “Today, (DHS) announced that they are strengthening their ability to target criminals even further by making sure they are not focusing our resources on deporting people who are low priorities for deportation.”

California writer Rick Oltman said, “It was cowardly and was accomplished with lies and deception and it will do irreparable harm to America and Americans. It was cowardly because Obama and the political elites of both parties who want amnesty for illegal aliens knew they couldn’t get the legislation passed.  Obama didn’t even try it when the Democrats controlled both Houses in Congress because poll after poll shows super majorities of Americans don’t want amnesty, they want enforcement.

Obama violates his oath of office, “To preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

What Obama’s action actually accomplished: free ride for employers of cheap 21^st century slave labor. It gives every corporate employer free rein to hire a compliant work force. It takes jobs away from millions of Americans.  It aids and abets meat packing plants, hotels, restaurants, construction companies, roofing companies and fast food companies to hire with immunity from the law.  It maintains minimum wage and keeps Americans unemployed.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce heralded the move by licking its chops for all the money it puts into the pockets of elites while U.S. taxpayers pick up the subsidizing tab by paying for schools, hospitals and prisons.

A 19 point bulletin spells out who should be exempt from federal law enforcement.  Everybody, every type of illegal alien can be exempted.  “This list is not exhaustive and no one factor is determinative.”

Enforcement is out, illegal aliens are in.

“News reports also indicate that the Obama Administration will be dropping active deportation cases against over 300,000 illegal aliens,” said Oltman. “They will all be getting work permits, if they don’t have them already.  Ten percent unemployment in the country and 300,000 were just added to labor market.  And, of course, if they don’t find jobs, expect them to start sucking up taxpayer benefits like welfare and food stamps and healthcare. Expect, in very short order, a surge on the border.”

If you remember, back in 1986, Reagan signed an amnesty for 1.2 million illegal aliens. It turned out to be 4.3 million applied for citizenship.  At 20 million illegals in the USA in 2011, we will see a demographic nightmare emerge from wholesale avoidance of U.S. laws.

Mass immigration pushes this country toward an added 100 million within the next 25 years and 138 million by 2050.  (Source:  US Census Bureau, PEW Report, “US Population Projections” Fogel/Martin)  The ramifications of this amnesty guarantee that the United States will become a polyglot of poverty, ethnic tension, environmental degradation and lowered quality of life and standard of living for most Americans.  No one will escape the coming water shortages, energy shortfalls and resource scarcities.

We will all experience a diminished America as we slide into educational demise as well as becoming a scattered and disenfranchised country.  When it comes to “Flash Mobs”, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

China: Locust to the world?

For almost every problem, the current solution that America’s leaders employ tends to involve bombs and spies and force.  Are resources or bank accounts running low?  Then go bomb some country in Africa or the Middle East.  Unhappy citizens at home?  Then beef up Homeland Security.

On the other hand, China’s method of dealing with problems seems to be a bit different.  While Americans appear to be constantly in Terminator mode, China tends to be more of a trader.  Got a problem with a country or a person?  Then sell ‘em stuff.

Unfortunately, America’s tool box is too limited — “When all you have is a hammer, all the world starts to look like a nail.”

But if you are merchant, peddler and trader to the world, you also have a big problem too — the stuff that you trade.

If you were to paddle up the Amazon River to the most isolated village that you could find and then look inside any one of its completely-outside-the-matrix grass huts, I almost guarantee that you will see at least one household item that had been made in China.  Heck, I’ve even seen stuff in one of the farthest outposts in Antarctic stamped, “Made in China”.  Even the Chinese use stuff made in China.

China appears to be a creator.  America appears to be a destroyer.

But, ironically, both countries have ended up in the same place — destruction.

For every bomb dropped on Libya or Iraq or Gaza or wherever, something is destroyed.  That much is obvious.  But for every plastic doll or small appliance or disposable pen that China produces, something is also destroyed — material resources.  That plastic doohickey that you recently picked up at the dollar store?  It’s made out of something.  It came from somewhere.  And it’s gotta go somewhere too — if nowhere else than the landfill.

So China churns out stuff for the world and sends it all over the globe.  Fine.  That’s hecka lot better than spending over 50% of its income on spy planes, machine guns, tanks, drones and bombs.  However, like Einstein or Newton or somebody once said, “You can’t make something out of nothing.”

So while America is busy carpet-bombing the world, China is busy vacuuming up the world’s carpet.  And both countries eventually end up at the same place — destruction.

America may be the world’s Darth Vader.  But China is the world’s swarm of locusts.

“So what’s your point here, Jane?  That America is like that gloved hand in the Beatles movie, ‘The Yellow Submarine’?  And that China is like that guy in ‘The Yellow Submarine’ with the big horn for a mouth that vacuums everything up?”

My point here is that if the human race is to survive through to the end of the 21st century, both America and China need to come up with a new paradigm for dealing with their economies —  and stop being Blue Meanies!

Prof. Michael Nagler, founder of U.C. Berkeley’s Peace and Conflict Studies program, has come up with a third alternative to these deadly bomb-or-vacuum economic policies, wherein we stop concentrating on what we don’t have and don’t need — and concentrate on what we do have and realistically need instead.

According to Nagler, Mahatma Gandhi “saw that our present economic system is being driven by a dangerous motive:  the multiplication of wants.   Because these wants are artificial — being that they created by advertising — and can never be satisfied, it creates what economist David Korten has called a “phantom economy” of fantastic financial manipulations that of course can never endure.

 

“The real purpose of an economic system is to guarantee to every person in its circle the fundamentals of physical existence (food, clothing, shelter) and the tools of meaningful work so that they can get on with the business of living together and working out our common destiny.  This was Gandhi’s vision, among others’.  We can no longer afford to ignore him in this sector any more than we can ignore his spectacular contributions to peace and security.

“We will never know real prosperity — where we acknowledge that we are much more than producer/consumers and can only be fulfilled when we discover a higher purpose — until we shift to another basis entirely, the fulfillment of needs.”

In our current world based on bomb-or-vacuum economics, there is yet another high price to pay, as author Gilad Atzmon has recently pointed out.  As prices rise and resources dwindle, more and more people get left out of the economic bomb-or-vacuum consumerism cycle and then bad things start to happen — like, for instance, the recent riots in London.

According to Atzmon, “…as we move up the ladder of our consumer existence, more and more people are falling behind.  As the more fortunate among us proceed upward, more and more youngsters are realizing that they will never even be able to join the game.

“On the one hand we are subject to a ‘dictatorship of commoditisation’; we are trained to identify with a set of gadgets and brands, and yet, on the other hand, an increasing number of the people around us are left out — they can barely afford to possess these objects of desire — and find themselves removed from the ‘identity game’.  They become faceless, their existence denied, left to wander, ghost-like, wrapped in [running] suits in a society driven by ruthless hard capitalism and sheer greed.” https://veracityvoice.com/?p=11947

Does anybody but me find it ironic that communist China is now the most important capitalist nation in the world, while capitalist America has lost its way and wandered off into the nightmare world of corporatism, a form of ideology that is potentially more harmful to us than even China’s former “Cultural Revolution” was to them.

This week, Canadian Environmentalist Tim Murray asked penetrating questions as to what constitutes a hate crime or hate speech.  In Canada’s accelerating immigration crisis, more and more Canadians want to know why their country is being flooded with relentless immigration.  Citizens are forced to “shut up” for fear of being locked up.   This is the latest report:

“Police said none of the statements on the posters constitute a hate crime.”

“So there you have it!” said Murray.  “The so-called ‘racist’ poster that sent self-proclaimed ‘anti-racists’ into a panic was not so racist or hateful. The poster that Immigration Minister Jason Kenny thought was “crude and menacing” but not so crude and menacing as to be illegal. “What counts then, in Canada, is not what is said, but by whom it is said. If it is said by people that some other people don’t like, then the statements must be removed from public view.  Therefore a group that the Multicult Thought Police designates as a “hate group” is not to be allowed to even make statements that are not “hateful”. So what were these statements?

“How crude! How menacing! And how correct! Except that the figure “265,000”  understates the number of immigrants who enter Canada every year by 395,000—if you add the 380,000  entrants admitted on so-called “temporary” visas  to the 280,000 “immigrants” who came in 2010. That is right folks. As Sun TV’s  Brian Lilley put it, each year they plop another Mississauga into the country. Is there any other nation on earth this mad? If not, we could certainly give Australia a run for its money in the derby to see who will populate and perish first.

“What is “crude” here is the belief held by all federal political parties that immigration-driven population growth is necessary to stimulate economic growth. And according to the poll conducted by David Colette last year, fully half of Canadians feel menaced by this growth and the policy of hyper-immigration for which Jason Kenny is a front-line booster. Meanwhile another 34% of those polled indicated that theydon’t want immigration levels increased. But who cares what ordinary Canadians want? Only the political class and their oracles in the CBC know best.

“Canada is indeed as Mark Steyn would describe it. A conformist culture that celebrates diversity in everything but thought. I can only reiterate what I said over three years ago:

The only way freedom is going to be restored, be it in the office, the warehouse or the college campus is for people to exercise it. Courageously and in defiance of speech codes and harassment guidelines.

E-Verify Changes Everything In The Immigration Game

For the first time in three decades, the Supreme Court gave the American people an ace in the hole.  They supported E-Verify that forces all employers to play by the rules to employ legal American workers.

Dan Stein, director of The Federation for American Immigration Reform, www.fairus.org, gives an in depth perspective of the ramifications of the law.

“The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) called today’s introduction of the Legal Workforce Act (H.R. 2164) “a critical and necessary step toward controlling illegal immigration and protecting American workers,” said Stein.  “The legislation, authored by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-Tex.) would require that all U.S. employers use the federal E-Verify system to check that the workers they hire are legally eligible to be employed in the United States. E-Verify is a federally run program that allows employers to electronically verify the Social Security numbers of new hires with existing records.

“Mandatory use of E-Verify is not only long overdue, but is supported by more than 80 percent of American voters, according to a new nationwide poll. The poll of 1,000 likely voters, conducted by Pulse Opinion Research this month, finds that 81 percent support “Congress requiring all employers to use E-Verify to ensure that workers are legally eligible to work in the U.S.” Only 17 percent said they oppose such a requirement.

Weapon against illegality

“There is clear consensus that the availability of jobs in the U.S. is the single largest draw for illegal immigration and there is equally widespread support for requiring all employers to use E-Verify,” stated Stein. “E-Verify is already used by some quarter million employers with near 100 percent accuracy. Expanding this successful program to all U.S. employers would send a clear message to illegal aliens that American jobs are no longer available, and would greatly diminish the chances of unsuspecting Americans having their Social Security numbers and identities stolen. Most importantly, it will open up desperately needed jobs for U.S. legal workers.”

“FAIR has long supported requiring employers to participate in E-Verify and commends Chairman Smith on his important and foresighted legislation. “Chairman Smith has been a staunch advocate of controlling illegal immigration and protecting American workers by requiring a simple and universal employment verification process. With the introduction of the Legal Workforce Act, he is offering a common sense and popular approach to dealing with our nation’s illegal immigration crisis.”

“FAIR does maintain serious concerns about one provision of H.R. 2164 which preempts almost all state and local laws regarding the hiring of illegal aliens. “A federal law that mandates the use of E-Verify would be an invaluable tool to combat illegal immigration, but it should not strip away a state’s right to do so as well,” said Stein.  “E-Verify’s effectiveness depends upon the willingness of the administration to enforce the law,” said Stein. “If this administration – or any future one – continues to obstruct immigration enforcement, states must retain the right to implement and enforce their own laws that sanction employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens. The ideal bill mandates E-Verify nationally while allowing states to retain the right to enforce the law and protect their citizens.”

Earth Day April 22 2011 – What went wrong?

In 1970, I participated in the First Earth Day on the Michigan State University campus. I felt that all of humanity would see how poorly we treated the planet and that we would all come together to change course and move toward a sustainable future.

In that 41 years since the first Earth Day, we added 112 million more Americans to this already overloaded country, and the citizens of the planet added another 5.0 billion human beings.  You have to wonder how inept, how stupid, how dull, how trivial our species in our quest to dominate, destroy and crush the environmental systems that make this planet sustainable for all living things.

Right now, we cause the “6^th Extinction Session” whereby we kill off about 80 to 100 species per day because of our human onslaught of their habitat.  We create horrific carbon footprint that acidifies the oceans and wreaks havoc with our biosphere. We dump 80,000 chemicals into the land, air and water daily 24/7.  We expand beyond carrying capacity on every continent except Antarctica.

What went wrong?  Why did we grow worse than better? What fate do face?

Eric Rimmer, www.populationmatters.org in the United Kingdom brings it home:

“Since the first Earth Day was held in 1970 to focus attention on “the crisis of the environment”, the world population has almost doubled and will reach 7 billion in the next twelve months,”  reported Population Matters. “Not surprisingly, humanity’s impact on the environment has increased, too. It is estimated by the International Union for Conservation of Nature that the current rate of species extinction is between 1,000 and 10,000 above natural levels.

“The causes are human: converting natural areas to farming and urban development, introducing invasive alien species, polluting or over-exploiting resources including water and soils and harvesting wild plants and animals at unsustainable levels.
“At the same time, manmade climate change is increasingly posing a threat to the wellbeing of all life, human and animal alike. Moreover, those seeking to satisfy humanity’s ever-growing needs are often proposing even greater exploitation of our environment: more intensive farming and exploitation of the resources of ever less accessible regions.

“That’s inevitable in a world where competition can be unrestrained and many are on the borderline of survival. However, the only answer in the long term is to limit our demand to renewable resources, not to squeeze ever more from a finite planet. Such limiting of demand means more sustainable lifestyles and adopting green technologies, but it should include addressing our numbers, too.

“The ways to lower our birth rate are well-known, and successful where adopted. They include alleviating poverty, encouraging women’s rights and reducing infant and maternal mortality. Above all, they include universal access to affordable family planning and the adoption of reliable modern methods of contraception to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies. Recent years have seen gross underinvestment in this area: in part, because funds have been diverted to the treatment of AIDS. That’s understandable, but AIDS and family planning shouldn’t compete for funds. Effective family planning, leading to lower birth rates and ultimately smaller populations, is fundamental to a sustainable future in a healthy environment.”

Forty-one years later, we’re so far behind the eight ball that we may not be able to save our species from mass starvation and utter destruction of our biosphere—but we must try.

Perpetual Growth Cannot Be Perpetuated

“The idea of perpetual growth is embraced with religious fervor by mainstream economists and other worshipers of ‘Progress’ – the material sort of progress, that is… Our students are society’s next generation-in-power. We owe it to them, to society at large, and to posterity to help students build their expectations on a realistic basis. Exponential growth needs to be seen as a severely time-limited process, for which costs must be paid. Growth is ultimately limited by the environment, a truth that ecologists encapsulate in the concept of ‘carrying capacity’.” Dr. Garrett Hardin

Americans dilly-dally with a continued sense of entitlement as to growth, energy and resources. As the price of gas rises toward $4.00 per gallon, they are about to get their britches twisted into a knot.

It’s not like we haven’t been warned by the likes of Dr. Albert Bartlett of the University of Colorado who talks about the “Exponential growth equation” and how it cannot continue. (www.albartlett.org )  It’s not that we haven’t heard from Dr. Paul Ehrlich when he said, “All causes are lost causes without limiting human population.”

Let’s hear from the late Dr. Garrett Hardin when he told the story about “The Feast of Malthus: living within limits.” (www.TheGarrettHardinSociety.org)

“For a few decades after the publication of Malthus’s celebrated essay in 1798, population was much discussed in England,” said Hardin, “ then at about the middle of the 19th century it

became overshadowed by more narrowly economic problems. In the 20th century Malthus has, so to speak, been buried every year by his commentators —only to be dug up again the following year. Exactly why Malthus is so often repudiated is not clear because the funeral orations typically amount to little more than one brutal word: Discredited! Reviewing many criticisms I have come to the conclusion that a single paragraph in Malthus accounts for much of the rejectors’ passion.

“The offending passage occurs only in the second edition of his essay. Had Malthus retained this paragraph and justified it adequately in subsequent editions I think we would have been spared nearly two hundred years of unproductive brawling.

“As I see it, Malthus walked right past the heart of the population problem. In presenting my conclusions I shall follow the advice of the physicist George Uhlenbeck (1900-1988), who said: “First tell us what the problem is; then state your conclusions at once. Only thereafter should you go into details…” The problem is simply this: can the necessity of population control be reconciled with the apparent demands of individualism, as that complex concept has developed since John Locke? I conclude that there is a fatal contradiction between these two necessities; and that the survival of civilization will  require us to modify significantly the powers we now grant to individual “rights.” This social revolution will be painful, but it cannot, I think, be successfully evaded. Here is the offending paragraph of Malthus:

A man who is born into a world already possessed, if he cannot get subsistence from his parents on whom he has a just demand, and if the society do not want his labor, has no claim of right to the smallest portion of food, and, in fact, has no business to be where he is. At nature’s mighty feast there is no vacant cover for him. She tells him to be gone, and will quickly execute her own orders, if he does not work upon the compassion of some of her guests. If these guests get up and make room for him, other intruders immediately appear demanding the same favor. The report of a provision for all that come, fills the hall with numerous claimants. The order and harmony of the feast is disturbed, the plenty that before reigned is changed into scarcity; and the happiness of the guests is destroyed by the spectacle of misery and dependence in every part of the hall, and by the clamorous importunity of those, who are justly enraged at not finding the provision which they had been taught to expect. The guests learn too late their error, in counter-acting those strict orders to all intruders, issued by the great mistress of the feast, who, wishing that all guests should have plenty, and knowing she could not provide for unlimited numbers, humanely refused to admit fresh comers when her table was already full.

“Reading this passage thoughtfully one is not surprised to learn that its author became, in James

Bonar’s phrase, “the best-abused man of the age.” said Hardin. “The “Feast” led critics to deduce that Malthus “defended small-pox, slavery, and child-murder” (because they kept the population from growing too large) while he “denounced soup kitchens, early marriage, and parish allowances”

“The shocking Feast was spread before the public in 1803, in the second edition of the Essay.

Malthus could hardly have chosen a worse time: a sort of “compassion revolution” was then well under way. During the 19th century the English-speaking world made great progress in the humane treatment of animals, in getting rid of slavery, in curtailing child labor, and in (reluctantly) giving a modicum of freedom to women. Bonar has said that “for thirty years it rained refutations of Malthus.”

“Before Malthus died in 1834, four more editions of the Essay had been published, the last in 1826; but in none of them did the Feast appear for a second time. Malthus was hurt by the

reactions to his moving metaphor. In 1807, in a letter to a friend in Parliament, the

author complained: “To those who know me personally, I feel that I have no occasion to

defend my character from the imputation of hardness of heart…” The most passionate of the refutations came from the literary community.”

“Many officials in these counties expressed surprise at these new numbers,” said Collins. “I can only wonder why. My late friend, the Californian demographer Meredith Burke , often asked: “If we are going to double the population of the USA shouldn’t we at least have a debate about it?” But our leaders never have allowed a full, rational debate over how many do we need.

“We know that the cheap labor business crowd has teamed up with the Catholic Church and the ethnic lobbyists such as La Raza and LULAC to push for more and people,—who happen to be largely of Hispanic origin.

“The ethnicity question has never been my concern. I fear any kind of discriminatory racism. My position has always focused on utility, need, and therefore numbers. And we have long ago overshot our needs by millions and millions.

“I am a long-time liberal Democrat focused on social issues such as family planning. I believe this widely-held business belief that growth is good and more growth is better has long been proven fallacious. Over a million work visas were issued to immigrants this past year and for many prior years, despite our Great Recession which many see going on for a long time.

“Displacing our own citizens to satisfy the cheap labor greed of special interests is an old game. You know, business makes the profit and lays the externalities on the taxpayers.

“The Economist’s dictionary describes an externality as a cost which can arise when people engaged in economic activity do not have to take into account the full costs of what they are doing. For instance, car drivers do not have to bear the full cost of exacerbating global warming, even though their actions may one day impose a huge burden on society. One way to reduce externalities is to tax them, say, through a fuel tax. Another is outright prohibition—say, limiting car drivers to one gallon of fuel per week.

“All this has to do with limits. How many people, how much consumption? And who pays the bill? As these floods of immigrants arrive, the young and strong get enslaved at poor wages,creating profits for their employers. But the cost down the road, as they and their children use our tax-supported services, is the mechanism that has put 49 of our 50 states into a budget deficit position.

“Now the new House majority talks of cutting costs. Not very hard.  But mentioned first are the Environmental Protection Agency and other important benefits to the poor, while CEO payrolls rollick to new heights. Certainly not enough to pay down our debt, which is now north of $14 trillion (up from under $1 trillion in 1981) or even to reduce our annual deficit by a meaningful amount.

“The most obvious action we can take now raises the inevitable objection from businesses. The Post’s February 11, 2011 Washington Business headline says, As lawmakers look at E-Verify, businesses fear expansion of immigration program. [By Shankar Vedantam] Of course they fear expansion of E-Verify—they’re employing illegals.

“Fortunately, Elton Gallegly, the new chairman of the immigration subcommittee, has put E-verify at the top of his list, saying “making [E-Verify] universally mandatory would ease the cumbersome and easily manipulated I-9 process employers now use to screen employees. It would also greatly reduce the number of illegal immigrants in the American workforce.”

WAPo’s  Vedantam explains:

“Gallegly was referring to the I-9 form, which employers must have job-seekers fill out. It requires documentation, such as a Social Security number, that the applicants are eligible to work in this country. With E-Verify, employers can run the information through federal databases to confirm it or identify people who are not legally authorized to work.”

“Naturally Randel Johnson, senior vice president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and thus the representative of that implacable enemy of our 20 plus million unemployed or underemployed citizens, complained: “I have a real mixed reaction from my members. Some find it workable, and others do not.”

“We could easily make sure it is “workable”—by making it mandatory, with fines for failing to use it against executives personally.

“In our present techie age, Johnson’s statement, “With some companies, it is the logistical problem of having a computer on your construction site” (to run the online queries) is truly laughable. And what does Johnson mean by this sentence?—”If you are running a small business, there is aversion to a new system that will make things more complicated.”

Vedantam reported an encouraging case in point:

“The fast food company Chipotle Mexican Grill was recently asked to turn over I-9 information about employees at 60 Washington and Virginia restaurants to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency. The chain was forced to fire suspected illegal workers at its Minnesota restaurants after a similar probe. Chipotle spokesman Chris Arnold said that restaurants in Arizona and the Carolinas currently use the E-Verify system and that the company is weighing whether to expand its participation in the program nationwide.”

“Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Tex.), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, noted the Pew Hispanic Center’s estimate that “7 million people are working in the U.S. illegally. These jobs should go to legal workers.”

“I have not ever been a fan of the Washington Post’s immigration reporting. But this article had the integrity to tell its readers

“Independent analyses of the E-Verify program by the Government Accountability Office and a Maryland research group known as Westat show that the overwhelming majority of those legally allowed to work in the country are quickly approved. A thriving market in fake Social Security numbers, however, means that the program fails to spot many undocumented immigrants.

“To deter fraud, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agency, which runs E-Verify, is increasingly using passports and employment-authorization documents that contain photo identification, said spokesman Chris Bentley. New efforts are underway, he added, to spot applicants who proffer fake driver’s licenses.”

Again, WaPo surprised me by printing this quote:

” ‘Critics of E-Verify claim illegal immigrants hold jobs that Americans won’t do. But even in the agriculture industry, where amnesty supporters insist we need illegal workers, 50 percent of the agriculture jobs are held by U.S. citizens and legal immigrants,’ [Lamar] Smith said. ‘And if farmers really need foreign labor, they can get it legally—we have a guest worker program for agricultural workers that has no numerical limit..”

“The growth of legal and illegal immigrants in our country since 1965, for no good reason except greed, represents a government failure. It could be fixed, but like our national debt and current deficits that seems always to be deferred for our children and grandchildren.

“The ultimate irony—we claim we love them. But what are we leaving them?”

Obama, Integrity and a missing Birth Certificate

For the past week, Denver, Colorado radio talk show host Peter Boyles, and his crack producer Greg Hollenback, www.khow.com , interviewed top journalists and historians on the ramifications of  Barack Obama investing $2.5 million to conceal his long-form birth certificate and other records.

A ‘long-form birth certificate’ constitutes the only valid form of an American’s birth and foundation for citizenship.  Yet, Obama and his cadre of lawyers will not allow it to be presented in order to silence all Americans concerned about his qualifications to remain president of the United States.  Additionally, his lawyers conceal his high school, college, social security and draft registration records.  Anything else?

Additionally, Boyles discovered that Obama’s mother never married his father and never lived with him contrary to his books, Dreams From My Father and Audacity of  Hope. Obama congers a story proven to be fictitious by historians on Boyles’ show.  Nonetheless, true to form, your Main Stream Media will not touch the issue.  In fact, squashes it at every juncture!

If any president will not willingly offer proof of  U.S. citizenship, what does this convey about withholding truth.  If authorities ask for your birth certificate to run for any political office, will you produce it?  Congratulations!  You’re an American and proud of it!  You validate the U.S. Constitution that allows all citizens the ‘right’ to run for public office and serve our nation.  We call this rule-of-law, which maintains the bedrock of our civilization.

Does citizenship as a president matter to you?  Who was Obama as Barry Soetoro from Indonesia?  What solid aspects of citizenship does he lack from not being an All-American boy?  Does he maintain his Islamic upbringing that may concern us?  U.S. citizens may want to know!

Today, Arizona and Connecticut along with an increasing number of states introduce bills that expect anyone running for president of the United States to prove their citizenship by producing their long-form birth certificate, e.g., states’ rights in action!

Does citizenship matter to receive U.S. social services?  Today, in excess of 20 million people violate U.S. entry laws with impunity—displacing $346 billion in taxpayer funded services from your pocket. (Source: www.TheSocialContract.com)

Does the current U.S. paradigm of  corruption and  subversion reflect us as  citizens?  If that path continues, what effect will we reap?  Planetary examples: Egypt riots started over food, corruption and jobs.  Tunisia riots started over food, corruption and jobs!

What correlation do you see in these issues?

Americans enjoy responsibility to choose. We stand at choice-point daily. When we neglect our responsibilities, we receive the consequences from cause and effect.

Via the U.S. Constitution, we benefit from states’ rights powers, which means we  can neutralize the  lack of integrity of  Obama and Congress.  No small matter!

Arizona State Senator Russell Pearce, attorney Chris Kobach, Oklahoma House member Randy Terrill, Virginia’s  Roy Beck, Washington’s Dan Stein, Arizona Governor Janet Brewer, Maine Governor Paul LePage, New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez—all proactively choose effective enforcement of  our laws.

Admittedly, our federal government attempts to squelch American patriots at every turn—but Obama and Congress cannot continue as U.S. citizen numbers proliferate.  Their passionate actions provide hope for the future. Instead, Congress remains as corrupt and disingenuous as many of the governments falling around the world.

Once we citizens demand that Obama and Congress enforce our laws, or we replace them with candidates that will—the sooner we prove our creative abilities to maintain our civilization.  In essence, each of us ‘becomes ‘the United States Constitution.

In order to win, show up!  Remind yourself of your power in this Republic. Strength to your sword arm!

The Sun Rose 2 Days Early in Greenland

Residents of a town on the western coast of Greenland may have seen the sun peek over the horizon 48 hours earlier than its usual arrival on Jan. 13, sparking speculation, and disagreements, over possible causes.

The town of Ilulissat sits just above the Arctic Circle, meaning its residents had been without any sunlight for a good chunk of the winter, and traditionally they’d expect to see their “first sunrise” on Jan. 13.

News that the sun had peeked over the horizon on Jan. 11 appeared onlinein British and German-language publications and it appears to trace back to a story by the Greenland broadcasting company KNR that quotes residents who noticed the change.

Of about half a dozen scientists contacted, most were unaware of the report, which was circulating on the Internet. They offered a number of hypothetical explanations, including an illusion caused by an atmospheric effect and conflicting opinions about whether global warming might be to blame for melting along the edges of Greenland’s ice sheet. With less ice, Greenland’s elevation may take a dip such that the sun would have less distance to travel before appearing over the horizon.

How it works

The sun comes up each day because Earth rotates once on its axis every 24 hours or so. Seasons are a result of Earth being tilted 23.5 degrees on its spin axis coupled with the planet’s 365-day orbit around the sun.

The Arctic Circle, a line at 66 degrees north, marks the latitude at which the sun does not set during the summer solstice (when the top half of our planet is facing directly toward the sun), the longest day of the year, nor rise during the shortest day of the year, the winter solstice. The farther north you move from the line, the longer the period of night-less summer or sun-less winter. Ilulissat is located about 3 degrees north of the Arctic Circle, so residents spend the middle of winter without any sunlight.

At the North Pole, the sun rises only once a year — at the start of spring. It gets higher in the sky each day until the summer solstice, then sinks but does not truly set until late September, at the autumn equinox.

Not a global phenomenon

While they disagreed on the cause of the town’s early sunrise, experts did reach one consensus: This was an isolated event, not a sign of earlier spring around the Northern Hemisphere.

“In a nutshell, there can’t be a change in the true sunrise, because that would require the Earth-Sun orbital parameters to change,” said John Walsh, a professor of atmospheric science at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Fairbanks is located about 1 degree of latitude south of the Arctic Circle, far enough south that it does not completely lose its sun in winter, and this year the sun has followed its typical pattern in Alaska, he said.

“No changes here,” he said. “We would have heard about it.”

Walsh and other scientists agreed there is absolutely no evidence of a shift in the tilt of the Earth’s axis or any other change that might alter the arrival of the seasons around the globe.

An atmospheric illusion?

Other causes can be ruled out, including the effect of the approaching leap year in 2012, since in and around leap years, the sun is slightly lower in the sky in the Northern Hemisphere around Jan. 11, according to Thomas Posch, of Austria’s Institute of Astronomy.

The most likely possibility was the refraction of sunlight at the horizon, he told LiveScience in an e-mail. Most of the other scientists interviewed agreed this was the most likely culprit.

It is, in fact a common phenomenon, according to Walsh. Light bends as it travels through layers of air with different densities, and as a result the sun is normally a little bit below the horizon when we can first see it. But an unusual stratification of the air over Greenland could have led to a stronger bending of the sun’s rays, making the sun appear to arrive earlier than usual, he wrote in an e-mail.

Climate change?

“It is well known that global warming is causing most of Greenland’s outlet glaciers to melt faster and draw down the inland ice, and the details of that are quite complicated,” said Tim Dixon, a professor of geodesy at the University of Southern Florida, who has studied the effects of the melting ice sheet that covers Greenland.

On average, the ice sheet has lost considerable mass over the last 10 to 15 years, he said.

Ilulissat is located on land next to the point where the Jakobshavn Isbrae outlet glacier meets the ocean. The outlet glacier is a long tongue of ice that drains from the main ice sheet to the west, through the coast into the water.

It is unlikely that the melting of the edge of the ice sheet would change the timing of the first sunrise, because the ice is east of the town, while the sunrise would take place almost due south.

Even so, Dixon did not completely dismiss melting ice as a cause, suggesting that perhaps the absence this year of a floating ice shelf in the inlet to the south may have allowed the sun to rise earlier.

Not enough information

But without information about the observations behind this report, it’s difficult to speculate as to what may have caused an early sunrise, according to Richard Alley, a professor of geosciences at Pennsylvania State University who spent several days in the town.

“When my wife was a child, she and her siblings would go to the beach, watch the sun set, and then run up the hill really rapidly, ‘unsetting’ the sun so they then could watch the sun set again,” Alley wrote in an e-mail to LiveScience. “Where you are matters.”

Given the information available, or lack of it, Alley said the possibility of a “mirage” where atmospheric conditions make it possible to see something that would not normally be visible was more likely, he wrote.

But he wrote that he was concerned about the reliability of the report.

Beat Your Daisy Cutters Into Daisies

Seed bombs are compressed balls of soil and compost that have been impregnated with wildflower seeds. When jettisoned onto construction sites, abandoned lots, etc. seed bombs become a method of protesting and combating urban sprawl.

The BLU-82B or “Daisy Cutter” bomb has been described as “the largest conventional bomb in existence and is 17 feet long and 5 feet in diameter, about the size of a Volkswagen Beetle but much heavier. It contains 12,600 pounds of GX slurry (ammonium nitrate, aluminum powder, and polystyrene) … the ammonium nitrate in just one Daisy Cutter bomb is about six times the amount used in the bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City.”

Seed bombs are used to turn forsaken parcels of urban land into gardens.

The Daisy Cutter—first used in Vietnam to clear helicopter landing sites and more recently employed with devastating effects in both Iraq and Afghanistan—is extremely lethal but due to the intense magnitude of its impact (and ensuing shock waves), became increasingly utilized as a “psychological tool” (shock and awe, remember?).

“The Daisy Cutter has an explosion similar to a small nuclear or atomic bomb,” writes Ridhwan Saleem. “They say that when one was dropped in Iraq, the explosion lit up the entire front. Many Iraqi soldiers defected after seeing that bomb.”

Green-spirited seed bombs and mean-spirited Daisy Cutters. Take a wild guess which one is illegal here in the land of the free. Yep, seed bombing could get you arrested or sued, but could also result in real daisies, as in the family Asteraceae (from the Greek aster or star)—a family of plants roughly 50 million years old.

The Daisy Cutter bomb, on the other hand, was used to destroy anything and everything in a 600-yard radius.

The daisy family has more than 22,750 currently accepted species, spread across 1620 genera, and 12 subfamilies.

The Daisy Cutter generated pressures in excess of 1,000 pounds per square inch near the point of impact, and the shock waves could be felt miles away.

Daisies include not only the familiar flowers, but also valuable medicinal herbs like Echinacea and arnica, and edible plants like artichokes and endive.

The Daisy Cutter was the product of an institution—the US military—that is funded by 54 percent of American tax dollars and owns the dubious distinction of being the planet’s worst polluter.

Daisies make up 10 percent of all flowering plants on Earth.

The Daisy Cutter has already been retired and replaced with an even more destructive version, the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb (known as The Mother of All Bombs or MOAB). The largest non-nuclear bomb in the US arsenal, the MOAB is very similar to the Daisy Cutter, except it is larger and uses a guidance system which makes it one of those “smart” bombs.

Daisies are found everywhere on the planet except Antarctica.

Mexican Citizenship Law Contradicts Anchor Baby Amnesty

Last month, U.S. Senator Harry Reid’s anchor baby Dream Act amnesty burned down in flames.  But Washington DC insiders predict the bill will surface again in the future.

What does the bill advocate?  It allows an estimated 2.1 million Mexican anchor babies born to illegal alien parents within U.S. borders to enjoy instant citizenship.  That in turn would allow those ‘citizens’ to sponsor countless millions of their family into the U.S. via ‘chain migration’ or ‘family reunification’.

Long time activist, Michelle Dallacroce, director at www.MothersAgainstIllegalAmnesty.com researched a little known fact about the Mexican Constitution.

What did you discover about Mexican children born in foreign lands and how does it affect the Dream Act amnesty for anchor babies?

“Liberation!” said Dallacroce. “Anchor babies and US Citizenship are not and never have been the direction we as a country should choose. But we have for the last five years because as usual the Americans are always reacting to the actions of the open border clan.

“It was staring us right in the face!  But we just didn’t look!  Instead of trying to defend and protect the 14^th Amendment of the US Constitution against children born to their illegal alien females while crossing our borders, we never looked at the Constitution of the country of these women who were birthing these children.

“That is where this story should begin and that is where it should end! The Mexican Constitution, Chapter II, Article 30, paragraph II, states that you are a Mexican by birth if born on foreign territory, sons or daughters of Mexican parents born in national territory. There you have it! Anchor Babies are not U.S. citizens! They are citizens of Mexican according to the Mexican Constitution.

“April 4, 1997, President Sedillo of Mexico stated that “We will not tolerate foreign forces dictating and enacting laws on Mexicans. Our contention is that we are not enacting or dictating any laws on the Mexican illegal alien children born by illegal alien females in the US territory. Further, he states that “he was going to use all diplomatic and legal forces at his disposal to….protect Mexicans living in the United States.”

“A birth certificate is not in itself anything but a piece of paper. Just like a marriage license! Until you go to the church and get the blessing from your church then and only then is that “Marriage License” a valid marriage. The birth certificates that these illegal alien mothers have acquired are nothing more than a piece of paper without the full authority of allegiance to the United States of America. These illegal alien infants born in the USA are unable to swear allegiance to the USA and are unable to be automatically bestowed and granted something that they have never sworn allegiance too!

“The real dangers here are two fold. One is that these children are nationals and citizens of another country and they are voting in our elections. If we thought voter’s fraud with the Black Panthers was a problem, get ready for the wave of voters from a country called Mexico that already believes the southwest was stolen from them and they are determined to reclaim it!

“Second and more threatening to the United States of America is this. One day, you may have an “anchor baby” elected as President of the United States.

“A President, who has NEVER taken an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of the United States, because as I’ve already pointed out, the infant child was not able to take that Nationality Oath of Citizenship because the mother  acquired a birth certificate. A mother that was illegally in the USA and who was a National Citizen of Mexico.

“And lastly, we have recently seen the President of Mexico get a standing ovation in our Congress and the day an “Illegal Alien Anchor Baby” sits in the seat as President of USA you will have the President of Mexico standing beside him as he takes his oath, AND ONLY OATH THAT KID WOULD EVER HAVE TAKEN to be the President of the United States of America.

“When and if that day comes, the USA will be no more. Mexico will have conquered the north and our borders will never be secure and every amnesty that will be granted will be granted to eternity!

“The 14^th Amendment is not at trial! The 14^th Amendment is clear! You have to be under the jurisdiction of the USA and under the Mexican Constitution, it’s clear, these kids and all those that came before since 1986 are citizens of Mexico!

Part 4: The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration—No accountability

The mainstream media rarely reports on the ‘victimless crime’ of illegal immigration.  Therefore, I interviewed Peter Wagner, Denver, Colorado in order to gain a greater understanding as to what happens to Americans that become victims of criminal illegal aliens.  www.darksideofillegalimmigration.com

“The following estimate of illegal alien crime is based on the aforementioned assumptions,” said Wagner.   “Thus we start with the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports (UCR), Crime in the United States (CIUS) 2005, for the Estimated Number of Arrests and then apply the 5% representation of the illegal alien population component as well as the 27% incarceration rate in federal prisons to the number of crimes reported by the FBI from actual arrests.  What we then get an estimation of how much crime was committed by arrested illegal aliens in 2005 as follows:

“Note how close the number of crimes committed in 2005 using the 27% incarceration rate participation is to the estimated number of crimes committed by currently incarcerated illegal aliens is.  Is this coincidental or actually an accurate representation of disproportionate participation?  Once arrested one would think the government would want to know if the perpetrator was a citizen or a foreign national but, unbelievably, that is not tracked so, again, nobody knows.

“However, this is not all the crime – only crime where somebody was actually arrested.  To find all the crime you need to go the Department of Justice’s report Criminal Victimization in the United States, 2005 Statistical Tables which reports nearly every possible aspect of the crime being committed in the USA, with two notable exceptions.

“Using the Justice Department’s data and applying the illegal alien 5% population component as well as the 27% incarceration rate in federal prisons, we can now get an estimation of how much crime was actually committed in 2005 by illegal aliens as follows:

“Similar collateral damage would have been inflicted in 2006 and you can expect a about as much in 2007.  Whether you use the 5%, the 27%. or an average of the two, this is a tremendous amount of crime from an identifiable demographic segment of the population.

Is this much crime acceptable to save ten cents on a head of lettuce?

“You probably wouldn’t think so if you were one of the 1,172,036 victims, let alone one of the 6,328,994 victims.

“Keep in mind, this is an approximation of the collateral damage being inflicted PER YEAR.  If the number of illegal aliens is greater than 15 million the number of crimes goes up on a straight percentage of the population participation basis.  If there is disproportional participation, as noted by the 27% rate for incarcerated illegal aliens, the number of crimes goes up.  Regardless, even at just a 5% participation rate, that is a lot of crime that never should have happened in the first place.

“In trying to figure out who is actually committing the crimes, what the foreign national participation is, and whether illegal aliens are committing 5% of the crime based on their representation in the population or if they really are committing 27% of the crime, an astounding 5.4 times more participation than representation, we need to look at the sources for reporting the crime.  However, in doing this we soon run into problems.

“As noted in The Tarpit blog, Hispanics/Latinos, by far the largest component of illegal aliens, become “White, Caucasian, or Other” perpetrators inArizona.  The same thing in Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New Mexico, and probably other states as well.  As previously alluded to, even the Justice Department doesn’t seem to want to know as neither the nationality of the perpetrator nor a Hispanic/Latino category is even present in either theirUniform Crime Reports (UCR) or Victims and Offenders Supplement.

“The Justice Department collects quite a lot of data on crime, including the Hispanic ethnicity of victims, but they do not report on any contributions to crime by Hispanic perpetrators.  While not all illegal aliens are Hispanic, all illegal aliens are foreign nationals.  After spending a few hours wading through various reports from the Justice Department I still could not find mention of either category.  Given the massive amount of crime being committed I found it strange that it was not being tracked, especially crimes committed on American soil by foreign nationals, legal or illegal.”

U.S. to add 138 million people within 40 years

As Dr. Albert Bartlett www.albartlett.org, University of Colorado, said, “Any entity that grows beyond maturity suffers obesity or cancer.”  That applies to persons, companies, cities and civilizations!  Examples abound throughout history.  Yet, in the 21^st century, American corporations engineer growth, command expansion and celebrate their own cancerous growth paths.  Along the way, no one accounts for or concerns themselves with environmental devastation on multiple levels.

In October 2006, the United States reached 300 million people.  In four short years, the USA hit 312.7 million at the end of 2010.  Within 25 years, it will hit 400 million and onward toward 438 million by 2050.

Since the American female averaged 2.03 children since 1970, it’s not US citizens creating the human overpopulation dilemma.  So, what causes America’s overpopulation thrust?

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, Dr. Steven Camarata, www.cis.org , offered the following figures:

• Immigration accounted for three-quarters of population growth during the decade. Census Bureau data found 13.1 million new immigrants (legal and illegal) who arrived in the last 10 years; there were also about 8.2 million births to immigrant women during the decade.
• The numerical increase of 27.3 million this decade is exceeded by only two other decades in American history.
• Without a change in immigration policy, the nation is projected to add roughly 30 million new residents each decade for the foreseeable future.
• Assuming the current ratio of population to infrastructure, adding roughly 30 each decade will mean:
  • building and paying for 8,000 new schools every 10 years;
  • developing land to accommodate 11.5 million new housing units every 10 years;
  • constructing enough roads to handle 23.6 million more vehicles every 10 years.
  • Ecological footprint of 19.4 acres destroyed for every added person.  Add 130 to 138 million people X’s 19.4 acres will equal devastation of the natural world.

• While our country obviously can ‘fit’ more people, and technology and planning can help manage the situation, forcing such high population growth through immigration policy has profound implications for the environment, traffic, congestion, sprawl, water quality, and the loss of open spaces.
• Forcing population growth also impacts how our democracy functions. A 27 million increase in the U.S. population increases the number of constituents a member of the US House must serve by 62,000. The effect on the state legislatures and local governments is also considerable.
• While immigration is making our population much larger and our country more densely settled, it has only a modest impact on slowing the aging of our society. It must be remembered that native-born Americans, unlike couples in most other developed countries, still have about 2 children on average.
• Census Bureau data collected earlier this year showed that the 13.1 million immigrants who arrived in the last 10 years, plus all of the children they had once in the country, have reduced the average age in the United States slightly, from 37.4 years to 36.8 years.
• As the Census Bureau stated in its population projections published in 2000, immigration is a ‘highly inefficient’ means for addressing the problem of an aging society in the long run. The updated projections done in 2008 show the same thing.

Not discussed in the Main Stream Media as if it remains the “last taboo”, at some point, our environment cannot and will not tolerate continued overload.  These figures portend a tenuous future for people living in the United States in 2050.  Once manifested, such a huge population will be subject to greater environmental consequences and diminished freedoms.
