It’s A Win-Win Situation!

It was a few years ago that I grasped that Zionism was just one manifestation of Jewish political power in the West. But at the time, hardly anyone was either brave or stupid enough to tackle the topic. In spite of Israel defining itself as the ‘Jewish State’, despite the fact that the warplanes that dropped their bombs on Palestinian civilians were covered in Jewish symbols, still no one was willing to openly ask exactly what Jewishness was all about or what it stood for – and those few who did dare to raise the question were subject to total abuse until they took cover or just faded away.

It’s also been clear for quite a while that many Palestinian solidarity activists, intellectuals and academics have been begging for recognition from mainstream Western institutions. For obvious reasons, many of us have been fearful of open confrontation with exponents of Zionist power, whether mainstream Zionist media organisations or even those AZZ (Anti Zionist Zionists) who have managed to lodge themselves so comfortably within our ranks.

But recently things have changed and the popularity of my book ‘ (TWW) is just one example of that clear shift in consciousness. Somehow, we have lost our fear, somehow we have found the courage to say what we know to be the truth.

I’ve been engaged with Jewish identity politics issues for over a decade now but it was  back in 2003 that I realised that total and uncompromised opposition to any form Jewish of identity politics was the only way forward. I also realised that I might be able to expose the framework of Jewish political infrastructure, not only within Israel but also within Zionist organisations, Western politics, Western media and the so-called Jewish ‘anti Zionist’ network.  And it didn’t take long to realize I was in a true win-win situation. If they managed to destroy me, it would merely prove my point about their overwhelming influence but if they failed to neutralize me, that could only mean that Jewish power was disintegrating – which was exactly what I set out to achieve.

Three month ago I published TWW – a compilation of my thinking and probably one of the most damning criticisms of Jewish identity politics-left, right and centre – ever. Needless to say, all hell broke loose.

Since late September, I’ve been chased and harassed by just about every possible exponent of Jewish power and advocate of Israel and Zionism. The ADL, The Jewish Chronicle, The Simon Wiesenthal Center, the crypto-Zionist ‘anti’ racist Hope not Hate, the Zionist mouthpiece and veteran IDF concentration camp guardJeffrey Goldberg. Suimilarly, Ynet, Islamophobic Harry’s Place, The Board of Deputies of British Jews – all have worked closely together in a desperate attempt to bring down both my book and myself. But they were not alone. As I suggest in TWW there is a clear continuum between Zionism and Jewish ‘anti’ Zionism and certain elements within the Left. The Hasbara campaign against me was joined by the so called Jewish ‘anti’ Zionists aka AZZ and even by a few of Zionism’s Sabbath Goyim such as one Richard Seymour (for some reason convinced he is the true reincarnation of Lenin).

The Book Burners

Each morning brought a new assault. First, they mounted pressure on my publisher to pull the book. But Zero is made of sterner stuff. Even whenten of their authors threatened to leave, Zero held firm. But this initial failure did not damp the Zionists’ enthusiasm – in fact they stepped up the campaign. Now they tried to stop my talks and concerts, even campaigning against music festivals around the world. Of course again they failed but again they didn’t stop. Desperately they tried to halt the distribution of the book. In vain, they begged my growing list of endorsers to retract.  But again, in each and every turn, they failed.

I was rather encouraged by their relentless attempts. The more they campaigned, the more copies were sold, the more they harassed, the more people realised how accurately the book  describes the Jewish political continuum and the uglier their tactics were, the more people joined me.

The fact is, neither my publisher nor myself has spent a penny on promotion. We left our entire promotional campaign in the safe hands of the Jewish Chronicle, Jeffrey Goldberg, AZZ and Alan Dershowitz – and they did not disappoint. So far, the book has sold thousands. It has been read by most English-speaking Palestinian solidarity and anti war activists and within a year, the book will be available in most European languages. But best of all, the orchestrated Jewish campaign has proved beyond any doubt the accuracy of every single point made in the book about Jewish identity politics.

But, one wonders, why did they fail? Is it possible that Dershowitz and the Board of Deputies of British Jews are totally blind to the consequences of their actions? The answer is a resounding ‘yes’. Self-blindness is inherent to supremacist identity politics. As Deir Yassin Remembered’s Paul Eisen recently wrote, “You are so busy being clever that you’ve forgotten to look into the eyes of the other”. And this blindness has so often had catastrophic results. For as much as Jewish politics is fuelled by Jewish suffering, it is, at the same time, totally blind to the circumstances that has caused Jewish history to be characterized by an endless chain ofshoas.

But also they failed because, quite simply, the tide has changed. We now experience an ever-growing fatigue with Jerusalemite lies and the Zionification of both our cultural life and political  discourse. We want to reinstate the spirit of Athens – those precious notions of pluralism, universalism and ethics  – not the Old Testament’s  interventionist ‘righteousness’ explored by different ‘ways of deception’ known to us all as ‘Hasbara’.

So, TWW spreads like a forest fire, not because it’s particularly innovative but because it discusses those matters with which each of us has been concerned for a very long time. We say nowenough is enough. We do not wish to hear again and again about antisemitism, the holocaust and the primacy of Jewish suffering – It is actually Islamophobia and the Palestinian shoa about which we all care.

My many detractors are afraid that the popularity of TWW will lead to a shift in the Palestinian solidarity discourse. They obviously don’t get it. It’s actually the other way around. The popularity of TWW is but a manifestation of that very shift within our discourse. So, rather than compromising, and searching desperately for that least offensive way to put it, activists and intellectuals are now competing for who can say it most ‘like it is’. We are there to touch raw nerves. Our world is in a volatile state and if we want to save it, we’d better say what we think – we’d better call a spade a spade.

Jews are of course most welcome in our rapidly changing movement – theyare precious to us and we are responsible for them too. But let’s be clear: we need no Kosher stamp. Gatekeeping is a thing of the past. No longer will their Hasbara campaign be tolerated. So rather than try to steer us, Jews must march with us.

We are indeed in a win-win situation. And it’s all because we know that truth is on our side.

Hollywood Unraveling the Fabric of Society

Liberal Hollywood is intentionally corrupting children’s morals via the movies and TV programs they produce for public consumption.  Dictionary.com defines the word intentional in this way: done with intention or on purpose.  In my opinion the harm Hollywood is doing to the minds and hearts of the next generation, which includes people of faith, is on purpose — and it’s criminal.

In my last article, Kids are being exposed to shocking levels of sexual content, I alerted parents to one of the plot lines in the popular TV show ‘Glee.’:

Fox Entertainment’s prime time Emmy nominated musical series ‘Glee’ is viewed by tens of thousands of teens, especially girls.  On November 8 the hit show featured two high school age couples losing their virginity.  One couple was heterosexual, the other homosexual.  Not surprisingly the ‘gay’ couple was featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly with the headline: Gay Teens On TV – How a bold new class of young gay characters on shows like ‘Glee’ is changing hearts, minds and Hollywood.” The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) nominated ‘Glee’ for best TV comedy series that promotes homosexuality. 

The Parents TV Council recently alerted the public to the Worst TV Show of the Week. Guess which TV show they picked?  Yep, ‘Glee.’  Here’s why:

In a previous episode, Puck expressed his infatuation for Shelby in a fantasy-musical number of Van Halen’s “Hot for the Teacher.” In this episode, he basically serenades her with his classroom rendition of Melissa Etheridge’s “I’m the Only One.” Shelby rebuffs his advances until a medical emergency sends her reeling. Puck comes to her rescue, comforting her at the hospital after her adopted daughter (Puck and Quinn’s child) needs stitches due to an accidental fall. Suddenly, in Shelby’s vulnerable state, Puck ends up in her bed. Post coitus, Puck tells her, “You know, the advantage of a relationship with a younger dude is that I still got four more rounds in me before I need a steak sandwich and a Coke Zero.” Shelby immediately regrets what they’ve done and ushers him out.

Student-teacher sexual abuse has been spotlighted in the news lately due to recent legislation passed in Missouri designed to curtail contact between students and teachers via social networking. The Amy Hestir Student Protection Act, named after a student who was repeatedly assaulted by a middle school teacher, was signed into law in July, and has prompted school districts across the country to reconsider their social networking policies amid a rash of high-profile allegations of sexual misconduct between teachers and students. Just this past October an Ohio gym teacher, Stacy Schuler, was convicted of sexual battery for having sex with five male students.

Against this backdrop, the Puck-Shelby storyline is the height of irresponsibility. The show tries to skirt the legal issues by stating that Puck is 18 years old. But the show glosses over the inherent power imbalance of a student-teacher relationship. Regardless of who is the aggressor, any sexual relationship between a high-school student and a teacher is exploitative. (Online source) 

You ask, why would the producers/writers of ‘Glee’ make light of a teacher and a student having casual sex?  The answer is obvious.  These people have no scruples!  They couldn’t care less if young people in middle school have sex.  The producers/writers simply lack a moral compass.  You’d think adults would be aware of the downside of immature teens engaging in sexual relations.  Does it not occur to them that market share and advertising revenue isn’t worth a story line that potentially will result in girls 15 and younger becoming pregnant?

At a very young age an unwed pregnant girl whose lover wants no part of the mess they’re in is forced to make some life changing decisions that require maturity beyond her years.  Decisions such as: 1) Should I abort my baby; 2) Should I go through with the pregnancy; 3) If I go through with the pregnancy should I then allow a couple to adopt my baby;  4) Should I keep my baby and raise it myself; 5) Should I drop out of school.

Is it possible that this actually does occur to Hollywood elites but for them it’s all about pushing the envelope, making oodles of money, receiving awards — and most importantly, becoming famous.  After all, it’s famous faces that get splashed across the covers of magazines, right?

There are other ramifications when teens engage in casual sex.  For example, the ones who have loose morals are far more likely to contract diseases such as HIV/AIDS, human papillomavirus (genital warts or HPV), genital herpes, Chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis.

Instead of encouraging young people to abstain from having sex, Tinseltown’s message to them is to practice ‘safe sex.’  In other words, use a condom.  Problem is most teens (and a large number of adults) are unaware that condoms do not provide 100% effectiveness against some STDs.

So – is it any wonder that 25% of American teenage girls ages 14-19 have at least one STD?  Currently there’s no cure for HPV.  Moreover, this dreadful virus can lead to cervical cancer!  Girls who have sexual intercourse before the age of 18 are unaware that they have an increased risk for developing cervical dysplasia which can lead to cervical cancer.  That’s not all.  Giving birth before the age of 16 increases the risk of developing cervical dysplasia.  And for all you Gardasil fans, the vaccine protects against the types of HPV infection that cause most cervical cancers but it does not protect against all infections.  Here’s more bad news.  Many STDs have vague or no symptoms.

As if the health risks aren’t bad enough a recent study conducted by Ohio State University College of Medicine reports that teen sex may impair brain development!   The study reveals, how social experiences during adolescence when the brain is still developing can have broad consequences. … Specifically, the animals that mated earlier in life had higher levels of depressive behaviors, changes to the brain and smaller reproductive tissues compared to those that had intercourse later or not at all.

“Having a sexual experience during this time point, early in life, is not without consequence,” study co-author John Morris, a doctoral student in psychology at Ohio State, said in a statement. (Online source)

Those who work in the entertainment industry are most responsible for sexualizing young people so I find it ironic that they promote safe sex!  Earth to Tinseltown !  The so-called safety measures are not all that safe. And we now learn that teen sex may affect brain development!

Brent Bozell wrote a piece titled Hollywood’s Soda-Pop Statism.  Bozell informs us that on a far left blog, former entertainment executive Laurie David offered this pre-holiday piece of encouragement:

“Thanksgiving Conversation Starter: Is It Time to Ban Soda Ads on Prime Time Television?”At the same time that the broadcast networks are allowing – even advocating – the removal of all limitations on nudity or profanity on TV, at any hour of the day, David is most upset about those old polar bear ads for Coca-Cola:

“Knowing what I know now about the effects of sugary drinks on children, the image of kids chugging down a Coke (or in this case polar bear cubs) evokes the same feelings I’d get if they were taking a deep drag on cigarettes.”

One wonders if a high school student engaging in sex with his/her history teacher would evoke a raised eyebrow from Laurie David.  One also wonders if she’s concerned that students are learning about ‘gay’ sex despite the fact that sodomy is a high risk behavior.

Instead of children learning reading, writing and arithmetic in our tax funded public schools, teachers all across America are mandated to teach children that sodomy is “normal and natural.”  Many Students graduate from high school unable to spell simple words or write a basic sentence, yet valuable class time is taken up to teach them the ends and outs of oral and anal sex?

Borrowing again from my last article, some of the health risks I pointed out inherent in ‘gay’ sex bear repeating.  For one thing, the homosexual community is the most severely affected by HIV/AIDS and are the only risk group in which new HIV infections have been steadily increasing since the early 1990s.  According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report titled HIV among Gay, Bisexual and Other Men Who Have Sex with Men, in 2006 homosexuals accounted for 53% of all new HIV infections in the U.S.  And Lorie David worries about youngsters imbibing soft drinks?

Getting back to ‘Glee’ the executives and sponsors of the show need to tune into the news once in a while. The program that spotlighted a teenage student having sex with his adult teacher was aired about the time that the story of former football coach Jerry Sandusky’s arrest for alleged child rape was making headlines.   Which begs the question: Why is ‘Glee’ playing with fire by showing teacher-student sex?  Okay, the student was 18. But a senior in high school nonetheless.

Hollywood…pushing the envelope…breaking taboos… desensitizing the public…tearing down the moral construct this country was built on…mocking the traditional family…rewriting history…disrespecting Judeo-Christian values…even blaspheming God.  Where do they plan to go next?  Could it be the normalization of pedophilia?   No, they wouldn’t go that far, would they?  Former child star Cory Feldman told CBS that pedophilia is Hollywood’s biggest problem.   (Online source)

The larger question is why do people, especially those who self-identify as Christians, allow the entertainment industry and product advertiser’s filth into their homes?   I believe it is because many parents are clueless as to what their children are being exposed to.

The apostle Paul wrote, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Rom 12:2)

Being an outspoken Bible-believing Christian I’m bound to receive a flood of emails from pedophiles who feel the need to point out that Jesus Christ never mentioned the sick twisted perversion of man-boy sex (homosexuals use this argument too) so I’ll address what the Bible says here.

First off, the Apostle John states that Jesus said many things that were not written down (John 21:25).  For example, our Lord didn’t mention abortion, homosexuality, rape, incest, or cannibalism.  However, just because he didn’t address every sin throughout the Bible doesn’t mean He would approve.  Secondly, Jesus considered the writings of the Old Testament to be both trustworthy and authoritative.  Thirdly, Jesus addressed sex outside of marriage in Matthew 19:4-6.  He said marriage is between one man, the husband and one woman, the wife.  The bottom line is that the Bible condemns sex outside of marriage.

That said, anyone with an ounce of common sense understands that adult-child sex is an egregious sin.  Men and women who rob children of their innocence for their deviant self gratification should not be free to prowl school yards for innocent victims.  Moreover, anyone with an ounce of common sense will acknowledge that child rapists must be incarcerated.

I’ll close with some sage advice from Sam Blumenfeld in ‘Does God Exist?’:

“Imagine an America in which every child has a Bible and can study it in school! Do you think we’d have the moral chaos among teens we have today? That ought to be the great task of Christian missionaries today: to put a Bible in the hands of every child in America. Some won’t read it. But many others will.”

Is Rick Perry on a mission from God?

GOP hopeful Rick Perry is an evangelical Christian.  Recently his wife stated that before he made his decision to run “He prayed about it, he really prayed about it.”  Praying before making important decisions isn’t unusual for most Christians.  What’s unusual, and also troubling, is her comment that “He threw that fleece out twice to make sure it came back wet.”

Anita Perry was referring to a Bible story about a leader in Israel whose name was Gideon. (Judges 6-7)   God spoke to Gideon and told him to gather the Israelite troops to defeat the Midianite invaders.  Gideon wanted to be sure it was actually God’s voice he heard so he asked for a sign.  Wanting to determine God’s will, Gideon put out a piece of wool overnight and asked God to make it wet while keeping the dirt on the threshing room floor dry. God graciously complied.  The next morning the fleece was wet enough to wring out.

Now, we have no way of knowing if Rick Perry actually heard from the Lord  — but he thinks he did because, not only is he running, his wife believes that the Lord called him to be the next U.S. president.

Putting out a fleece is the way in which some believers, especially those in the charismatic movement, seek God’s approval for doing what they feel “led” to do.  Here’s a quick example of how this works.  A man applies for a history professor position at a college in Ashford North Carolina but he’s not sure he wants to uproot his family and move to NC.  So he prays, “Lord, if it’s your will that I take the job in NC, please give me a sign.”  A few days later he gets a call from a college buddy he hasn’t talked to in years.  He’s astonished to learn that his buddy’s a high school teacher in Ashford, Connecticut!  College, Ashford, teacher…God must be telling him to accept the job.  Get the picture?

On the campaign trail Anita Perry said of her husband:  “He is the only true conservative.”  Then, realizing her blunder, she added, “Well, there are some true conservatives.  And they’re there for good reasons. And they may feel like God called them, too. But I truly feel like we are here for that purpose.”

Does Anita Perry have a private hotline to God?

Before I answer that question here’s something else to ponder.  At another campaign rally Mrs. Perry told the crowd that her husband didn’t want to run so he needed some convincing.  She said, “God was already speaking to me, but he felt like he needed to see the burning bush.  I said, ‘Let me tell you something: You might not see the burning bush but other people are seeing it for you.’ ”

What Anita meant by “burning bush” comes from Exodus 3 where God spoke to Moses through a burning bush to instruct him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.  Evidently Rick Perry used the burning bush metaphor during a conversation with his wife because he wanted to be certain God was leading him to run the country before he tossed the proverbial hat into the ring.

APOSTLES AND PROPHETS AND GOVERNORS OH MY!

Perhaps the answer to Gov. Perry’s prayers came through so-called “apostles” and “prophets” who believe they actually do have a private hotline to God.  On September 28, 2009 they declared that the governor would have a leadership role beyond Texas:

On this day, the Lord’s messengers arrived in the form of two Texas pastors, Tom Schlueter of Arlington and Bob Long of San Marcos, who called on Perry in the governor’s office inside the state Capitol. Schlueter and Long both oversee small congregations, but they are more than just pastors. They consider themselves modern-day apostles and prophets, blessed with the same gifts as Old Testament prophets or New Testament apostles.

The pastors told Perry of God’s grand plan for Texas. A chain of powerful prophecies had proclaimed that Texas was “The Prophet State,” anointed by God to lead the United States into revival and Godly government. And the governor would have a special role.

The day before the meeting, Schlueter had received a prophetic message from Chuck Pierce, an influential prophet from Denton, Texas. God had apparently commanded Schlueter—through Pierce—to “pray by lifting the hand of the one I show you that is in the place of civil rule.”

Gov. Perry, it seemed.

Schlueter had prayed before his congregation: “Lord Jesus I bring to you today Gov. Perry. … I am just bringing you his hand and I pray Lord that he will grasp ahold of it. For if he does you will use him mightily.”

And grasp ahold the governor did. At the end of their meeting, Perry asked the two pastors to pray over him. As the pastors would later recount, the Lord spoke prophetically as Schlueter laid his hands on Perry, their heads bowed before a painting of the Battle of the Alamo. Schlueter “declared over [Perry] that there was a leadership role beyond Texas and that Texas had a role beyond what people understand…”  (Online source)

Schlueter and Long are a part of a cult-like movement known as the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR).  Those in the movement believe that God has given them the authority to bring about social transformation and usher in the Kingdom of God on Earth.  Not only have they declared Gov. Perry God’s anointed president, they also proclaim that Texas will lead the U.S. to an economic andspiritual recovery.

But what about the other GOP candidates that claim they’re Christians?  Among the group are those who self-identify as evangelical and Catholic plus there are a couple of Mormons.  They all believe they will lead the U.S. to an economic recovery.  Some of them might even believe they’re God’s anointed president.  And remember that Barack Obama’s supporters truly believe he’s the Anointed One.

Confusing isn’t it?

DIVINING GOD’S WILL

The question Christians must ask themselves is this: Does the Bible teach that God’s people should seek guidance from Above by putting out a fleece or looking for providential signs?   Rick Perry thinks so.  After all, he put out a fleece.

Here are a few more questions to mull over: Does God speak to His people today the same way He spoke to them in the Old Testament?  Does the Holy Spirit “whisper in our ear”?  Do we hear from Him in visions and dreams?  Through prophets…angels…animals…signs…coincidences?  What about through a subjective experience? A “feeling?”  A “burning in the bosom”?

Consider what I wrote on this subject in Found: God’s Will:

Looking for signs through coincidences, or flipping through the Bible and placing your finger on a verse, or relying on the first thought to enter your mind after a prayer, are forms of Christian divination. 

Moreover,

If you search the New Testament you’ll find no explicit command to “Find God’s will.” Read through the book of Acts and you’ll see what I mean. The Apostles were given no clear instructions on how they were to discern God’s will. No prayer ritual. No magic formulas. Nothing!

Applying hidden meanings to Scripture is irresponsible and it’s unbiblical! Anyone who twists God’s Word for their own purposes does so “to their own destruction” (2 Peter 3:16).

FINDING GOD’S WILL

Dr. John McArthur is the pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church.   Recently Phil Johnson, Executive Director of MacArthur’s radio broadcast Grace to You, interviewed his boss and asked for his perspective on the modern day belief that the Holy Spirit leads us by “nudging us or whispering to us or giving us dreams [and] things like that.”  Following is an excerpt from their discussion:

Well, I think the Holy Spirit does lead us but there is no way to perceive that that’s happening. … I don’t have a red light that goes on in my head and it goes around and around and around when the Holy Spirit’s leading. I don’t know when the Holy Spirit’s leading. I don’t know when I’m just following my impulses or my desires or whatever. I have no mechanism to know that. But in retrospect I see that.  And I categorize that in the providences of God. … my life is just one amazing act of divine providence after another, after another, after another …

Further in the interview MacArthur explains what he did when he was given a list of people who invited him to come and speak:

“Did I begin to go into some kind of mantra and say, “Ommm…” and see if I can induce the Holy Spirit to know what to do? No.  I just look at it and say, “Well, I can’t do that. I don’t think I can do that. That wouldn’t be a priority.  Maybe I should do that.  And you know what happens if I am open and want to do God’s will, it’s amazing how …  I can look back and say, “Wow, it was absolutely critical that I be there because look what happened when I got there, and this happened and that led to this, and this led to that.” That’s how my whole life has unfolded. So there’s no mechanism that we possess that tells us at the moment when the Holy Spirit is leading us in some supernatural way. …

Later he commented on the role of the Holy Spirit:

The Holy Spirit never illuminates anything to me that I don’t understand. You’ve got to understand it before the illumination kicks in. There is a certain illumination that’s salvific.  In other words, being regenerated is in itself the source of illumination. When I pick up the Bible and I read [about] God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, sin, man, redemption … I get it.  So there’s a generic kind of illumination in revelation.  And you could leave it at that level. You could go to the milk of the Word and say, “Okay, I’ve been illuminated on the milk of the Word, I get it, I understand the simple things of Scripture, you know, as many as received Him, became the sons of God,” and so forth. I can read that [passage] and understand it. … But for me to dig down and to enjoy the full illuminating possibilities of the work of the Holy Spirit in my life, I have to dig deep into the Scripture. It’s what I grasp that He illuminates. It’s what I understand that He illuminates. So yes, there’s a sense in which I am illuminated enough to understand Scripture at its basic level, the milk level, as Paul would call it. But to get the meat level, I’ve got to dig down in it. (emphasis added)  (Complete transcript)

God still speaks to us today — but not through putting out a fleece.  In fact, this is pagan divination.  God doesn’t speak to us through a burning bush either.  God speaks to us through His Word, the Bible, which is inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Tim 3:16-17).  Thus believers must never doubt that what the scriptures say is 100% true.   If we just take the time to read and study the Bible we’ll understand what God’s will is.  His will isn’t hidden—if He loves us why would He hide His will from us?  Answer:  He doesn’t! Again, putting out a fleece is unnecessary—and besides that, it’s unbiblical!

Any time someone claims that God has spoken to him/her, we must go to the Bible to find out if what he/she says lines up with what Scripture says.  God never contradicts Himself because He cannot deny Himself. (2 Tim 2:13) God does not tell us something in Scripture and tell us something different through the NAR.

Many of Perry’s supporters pleaded with him not to unite with the NAR and the International House of Prayer (IHOP) for a prayer rally he held in August.  He was warned that both of these groups are on the radical fringe of Christianity but he ignored their warning even though there’s abundant proof that the NAR/IHOP is highly unorthodox.  These whack-a-doodles seriously believe that God, through the Holy Spirit, has given them supernatural powers to perform “signs & wonders” that include raising the dead to life, healing the sick and casting out demons – and as of late, choosing an American president!

DOMINIONISM

I’ll conclude by presenting a condensed version of the NAR, aka dominionism, to make it clear why a number of traditional Christians have grave concerns over Rick and Anita Perry’s religious alliances.  For two decades dominionists have traveled the globe performing “spiritual warfare” on “demonic strongholds” with their aim being to shoo away powerful demons and take dominion over the power of Satan.  They’ve performed spiritual warfare “through intense worship and praise, and by spiritual mapping, identifying strongholds, rebuking demonic powers and binding territorial spirits” in many U.S. cities.  “Doing the will of God will bring about God’s purposes and God’s reign.”  (Online source) They allege that San Francisco has a demonic stronghold so they’ve invested an enormous amount of time conducting spiritual warfare to drive demons out so that they can take the city for Christ.

Am I missing something?  SF shows no sign of becoming a godly city.  Just the opposite is true!  It’s clear who’s winning the battle: Demons 100 — Dominionists 0.

The NAR/dominionists believe “the world will be conquered through an elite group of overcomers who produce signs and wonders unlike anything ever seen, even in the early church by the apostles. This they believe will lead us to the greatest revival of history. An endtime harvest of billions of souls, where the majority of the world will be won to Christ and the kingdom would be established or ready to be received by Christ.”  (Ibid)

I cannot stress enough that NAR/dominionists apply a completely different meaning to passages of Scripture than what was intended by the author.  The result of this sort of Scripture twisting as well as adding to Scripture (what they deem “new revelation” through prophecy) is blatant heresy!

I’ve put forth only a small part of what dominionists are up to and why they fall into the false teacher category.  Jesus had harsh words for people like them.  He called them ravenous wolves!  (Mat. 7:15)

One last thing.  The Perrys are not alone in practicing Christian divination to discern God’s will.  This sort of practice is rampant among undiscerning Christians.   The Perrys are also not alone in uniting with the NAR/dominionists.  Many Religious Right leadershave joined forces with them (also with other apostate movements and the cults) for purely political purposes.  As a result, they’re losing respect…and donations are dwindling.

The Herem Law in the context of Jewish Past and Present

The European Union appear concerned about the new Israeliherem law. The law suggests that a person or an organisation calling for the boycott of Israel , including the settlements, can be sued by the boycotts’ targets, without having to prove that they sustained any damage.

“We are concerned about the effect that this legislation may have on the freedom of Israeli citizens and organisations to express non-violent political opinions” said spokesperson for foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton.

More and more people and institutions now understand that Israel is not a ‘civilised society’: it is impervious to notions of human and civil rights, and it also does not share the common and fundamental foundations of a Western value system.  Israel is not a democracy and it has never been one. At the most, Israel has managed to mimic some of the appearances of a Western civilisation, but it has clearly failed to internalise the meaning of tolerance and freedom.

This should not take us by surprise: Israel defines itself as a Jewish state, and Jewishness is, sadly enough, inherently intolerant; indeed, it may be argued that Jewish intolerance is as old as the Jews themselves.

Regarding legislation then, how are we to understand the implications of the word ‘herem’? The Hebrew word herem in its contemporary usage refers to a ban,  boycott and sanction. However, within the biblical context, the word suggests the total destruction of the enemy and his goods at the conclusion of a campaign.

The emergence of Christianity then, can be viewed as an attempt to rectify such a situation of stark intolerance — it can be understood as an attempt to drift away from The Old Testament’s dark ideology. Christianity introduced ideas of harmony and love. And it is no wonder that the man who dared suggest to his Judean contemporaries to ‘love their neighbours’ ended up nailed to wood. He himself ended up being subject to a vile homicidal herem campaign.

Uriel Da Costa

The spirit of herem is intrinsic to the Judaic teaching and spirit. Many people are aware of Spinoza being subject to a Rabbinical herem. Yet, not many are familiar with the story of Uriel Da Costa.

Da Costa was born a Catholic in 1585 in Porto, Portugal. From an early stage, Da Costa was aware that his family had Jewish origins, and in the course of his studies, he began to consider a return to Judaism. By 1617, Da Costa and his family had decided to return to Judaism, and they fled Portugal for Amsterdam, which was soon to become a thriving centre of the Sephardic Diaspora.

Once in the Netherlands though, Da Costa very quickly became disenchanted with Rabbinical Judaism. He came to believe that the Rabbinic leadership was consumed by rituals and (Talmudic) legalism. In 1624 Da Costa  published a book entitled “An Examination of the Traditions of the Pharisees”, which questioned the fundamental belief in the immortality of the soul. The work also pointed out the discrepancies between biblical Judaism and Rabbinical Judaism.

The book was considered controversial and publicly burned. Da Costa was called before the Rabbinic leadership of Amsterdam for uttering blasphemous views against Judaism and Christianity, was fined a significant sum, and subject to herem. 

In 1633  Costa sought reconciliation with the community. He vowed to go back to being “an ape amongst the apes.” However, soon enough, he began to express rationalistic and skeptical views again, for instance,  expressing doubts whether biblical law was divinely sanctioned, or whether it was simply written down by Moses. He came to the conclusion that all religions were human inventions, ultimately rejecting formalised, ritualised religion. Possibly the first atheist Jew, Da Costa came to believe that religion should be based only on natural law, believing that God resides in nature, which is full of peace and harmony, whereas organised religion is marked by violence and strife.

It did not take long before Da Costa became, once again, subject to Rabbinical herem. For seven years he lived in virtual isolation, shunned by his family and loved ones. Ultimately, the loneliness was too much for him to bear, and he recanted once more.

As a punishment for his heretical views, he was publicly given thirty nine lashes at the Portuguese synagogue in Amsterdam, then forced to lie on the floor while the congregation trampled over him. The events left Da Costa traumatised, and he became suicidal. After writing his autobiography, “Exemplar Humanae Vitae” (1640), in which he disclosed his experience as a victim of Jewish intolerance, he set out to end the lives of both his cousin and himself. Seeing his relative approach one day, he grabbed a pistol and pulled the trigger, but it misfired. Then he reached for another, turned it on himself and fired, reportedly dying a terrible death.

Zionists and ‘Anti Zionists’ Alike

The record of vile Rabbinical measures against dissidence is staggering. But unfortunately, Jewish intolerance exceeds far beyond religious institutions.  In Israel, it seems that Jews imposeherems on each other on a daily basis.  The so called ‘Israeli left’ imposes herem on the West Bank settlements (as if Tel Aviv is not a settlement), and in response, the right wing governmentherems the left heremiates .

And as we all know, prominent Jewish critical voices outside of Israel too such as Norman Finkelstein,  have been subject to relentless Zionist herems over the years.

However, one may find it astonishing that Jewish ‘anti Zionists’ who claim to be ‘progressive’, godless ‘atheists’ and  ‘cosmopolitans,’ also  consistently use the exact same Talmudicherem tactics that have been employed by their Rabbinical ancestors for hundred of years.

In the last decade we have come across more than a few Jewish ‘anti Zionist’ herem campaigns. Jewish ‘anti- Zionists’ single mindedly dedicated themselves to the destruction of Deir Yassin Remembered (DYR),which was at the time the biggest and most successful pro-Palestinian organisation in the UK.  Monitoring the contemptible language used by Jewish ‘anti Zionist’ campaigners and observing the strategies they  implement  against fellow anti- Zionist Jews  and Palestinian solidarity activists reveals a very grim picture and a repetition of the most horrendous Rabbinicalherem tactics.

But such a realisation and understanding of these Jewish ‘anti Zionist’ tactics should not really take us by surprise, after all, just like the Jewish State, the Jewish ‘anti Zionists’ also identify as Jews.

However, unlike Rabbinical Jews — who at least provide some reasoning for their severe judgements based on supposed transgression of Biblical tenets — the Jewish ‘anti Zionist’ concentrate solely on measures of punishment. Yet such a fact is hardly surprising : whilst hardly any of the so called ‘progressive’ Jewish ‘anti Zionists’ believe in God or follow the Torah — they have clearly managed to draw from Judaism its very worst methods i.e. brute and crude intolerance.

I too am obviously  subject to on going and constant herem campaigns,  conducted by various ethnic Jewish activists, both  Zionist and crypto-Zionists.

However, I am delighted to report that my detractors are not at all successful. In fact, they are by now growing accustomed to learn that their hopeless herem attempts to excommunicate me simply backfire, time after time, leaving them frustrated and more and more isolated from the public discourse regarding the Israel/Palestine conflict.

On reflection, I would conjecture that the growing circulation of my work has little to do with my talent or wisdom though. It is much more simple than that: rather, my perspective on  humanism and ethics is probably more straightforward, coherent, inclusive and consistent than the Jewish ‘anti Zionists’  pseudo progressive ethno-centric exclusivism, so clearly manifested in each of their herem campaigns and implicit in much of their writing.

Jews and the BDS

As one would expect, world Jewry welcome the new Israeli heremlaw. According to Ha’aretz, the umbrella organisation of French-Jewish groups in France (CRIF) hailed the  new Israeli herem law : “the CRIF’s director general Haim Musicant pointed out that a similar such law has long existed in France, much to the satisfaction of the French Jewish community.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also defended the new law, saying “what stains (Israel’s) image are those savage and irresponsible attacks on a democracy’s attempt to draw a line between what is acceptable and what is not.”

Netanyahu sums it up eloquently — the new Talmudic law is there to highlight and establish the terms regarding what is acceptable within ‘Kosher democracy’: it is a non-civilised setting driven by blatantly exclusivist policies. In a very similar manner, the Jewish so called ‘anti Zionists’ often enough claim to know what ‘Kosher anti Zionism’ is all about, and how its boundaries should be defined. Incredibly enough, the Jewish ‘anti Zionists’ also repeatedly preach to us about ‘who is good’ and ‘who is bad’ for the Palestinians.

I presume that by now, the continuum between Netanyahu’s attitudes and those of the crypto-Zionists within our midst is pretty well established, and clear enough for all of us to see.

In April, the renowned journalist and film maker Max Blumenthal addressed some questions regarding the Jewish hegemony within the BDS movement.  The BDS is a call initiated by Omar Barghouti  and Palestinian civil society to impose boycott, divestment and sanctions on Israel.

Blumenthal wrote, “last night I went to Columbia University to see Omar Barghouti discuss his new book, Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions: The Global Struggle for Palestinian Rights…  During his talk, Barghouti mentioned that he had approached J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami about arranging a debate on BDS. The response from Ben-Ami was as follows, according to Barghouti: ‘We want to keep this debate inside the Jewish community. So we won’t participate in a debate with any Palestinians.’”

“Last December”, Blumenthal continues, “I debated the issue of BDS against the director of J Street U, Daniel May. My debate partner was Rebecca Vilkomerson of Jewish Voice for Peace. Daniel May’s partner was a Jewish student from Princeton also named Daniel May. Everyone involved in the debate was an Ashkenazi Jew, yet we were debating a movement founded and controlled by Palestinian civil society.”

If you should ask yourself why J Street insists on running the BDS as a ‘Jewish internal affair,’ or why the BDS has become a ‘Jewish call’, here is the answer – the BDS is interpreted  by most Jews as a call for a herem,  and this is what Jews do best : destroying, excluding, excommunicating, silencing, boycotting, sanctioning. After all, Jews have been doing this for centuries.

But here arises another problem regarding Jewish over representation and control within the boycott movement. As much as many of us sympathise with the Palestinian civil society call, hardly any of us actually want to operate within, or take direction on what we should do and think from a Jewish ‘anti Zionist’ Trotsky-ite synagogue.  And as it happens — and this makes me very sad at times — some of the crypto Zionists who operate within the BDS movement are now using this important Palestinian call in order to promote Jewish interests, or to fight other Palestinian solidarity activists.

But I believe that for the BDS to be successful, this movement must be attentive first and foremost to the Palestinian call, and to that call above all others. For the BDS to be effective it must transcend itself beyond the banal herem type activity. It must be a universal call, and managed as a civil society campaign.

Herem, Post Herem and a Joke 

Israel and Zionism then, has proved to be a short lived dream. It was  initiated to civilise Jewish life, and to dismantle the Jewish self-destructive mode. It was there to move the Jew into the postherem phase. It vowed to make the Jew into a productive being. But as things turned out, neither the Zionists nor the ‘anti Zionists’ managed to drift away from the disastrous  heremculture. It seems that  the entire world of Jewish identity politics is a matrix of herems and exclusion strategies. In order to be ‘a proper Jew’, all you have to do is to point out whom you oppose, hate, exclude or boycott.

Such a state of affairs is indeed pretty tragic, but it certainly brings to mind the old Jewish joke:

Q: How many synagogues are needed in a village with just  one single Jewish habitant?

A: Two synagogues; one that he goes to, and one he would never set foot in.

Fool Me Once, Shame On You; Fool Me Twice, Shame On Me

Fool Me Thrice, God Help Us All…

Abraham Lincoln is credited with saying that you can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.  Fooling the public is one of America’s most successful enterprises. Banks make money by deceiving customers, retail stores fool us with pricing shenanigans, manufacturers sneak in lower weights, churches manipulate the Gospel, the government manipulates the Constitution, political prevarication has become a part of American life, lawyers fabricate defenses, judges distort the law, mendacious policemen entrap citizens, evangelists sell the Creator, imperious theologians usurp God’s throne, businesses mislead their customers, parents manipulate their children, etc..  Fooling each other is pandemic.

The public is vulnerable.  Some of the people will always believe the most outrageous lies and more will refuse to believe the most obvious truth.  Naivety is common to the human condition.

Naivety flies in the face of the deification of reason.  Not only are human beings frequently unreasonable but their ability to reason is often captive to emotional distortion. Mental acuity is of great value; the strongest and smartest outperform the weaker and dumber.  However, the strongest and smartest are just as vulnerable to emotional manipulation as the weaker and dumber and just as difficult to correct.

One of the symptoms of pride is a hyper-evaluation of one’s worth.  Philosophers who champion human reason make a huge mistake by failing to properly evaluate their own significance.  As one human being among billions of inhabitants of a tiny planet in a vast, esoteric universe they vault themselves into a divine position and from that unreasonable stance begin to discuss things they cannot understand.

We are a pugnacious people.   Emotional truculence often contributes to our support of immorality and wicked wars.  The exuberance that followed the submission of an extensive section of the North American continent to United States domination fueled a heretical manifest destiny to include the killing of any and all who fail to comply with the American will.

When the Federal Reserve was foisted on our nation early in the Twentieth Century we became a puppet to foreign financial manipulation and war became a common part of our everyday life.  We supported the War to End all Wars and a couple of decades later, forgetting that we had just won the War to End all Wars we rushed into another foreign conflict  to save the world from the German Monster, then another couple of wars in Asia, now the massive incursion into the Middle East. The War on Terror like the War on Drugs is endless and unwinnable. Though murder and mayhem have neither protected our nation nor provided it with gain, a major portion of our citizens remain fooled into lending their support.

Each war was accompanied by a slick propaganda campaign.  Communism was a boogey man.   Vietnam and Korea required American troops to shoot, bomb, and burn.  Millions were killed and our own government became increasingly totalitarian.  Now Islam has become the new villain and nations in the Middle East that have no significant armaments and have never threatened the United States have suddenly become enemies.  A large percentage of our people are frightened by the Muslim religion.  They believe Sharia law has become a threat to their freedom and they hate all Muslims.  Somehow the cognitive dissonance involved in government sanctioned Muslim immigration escapes their minds.  Like obedient sheep they hate on queue.

In the same way that belligerent citizens are easily fooled into supporting war, lazy, self-centered Christians are easily fooled into believing false doctrines.  As a result we have a weak and ineffective Christian church that leads its members into evil wars, killing and maiming our youth, destroying our reputation, and bankrupting our nation.

In his waning years Russian author Alexander Solzhenitsyn wrote a book entitled “Two Hundred Years Together”.   It was a record of Jewish association with the Russian people in the Soviet Union.  Because Zionists control our media the book has never been published in America.

Jews have enjoyed widespread acceptance in America.  There was resistance but to a great extent it was overcome.  Hard work, intellectual acuity, and aggression have hoisted Jews into leadership positions in the Arts, the Media, Business, and Government.  They exert tremendous power over the entire United States.

When, at the Diaspora, God divorced and scattered His chosen people He discarded a diligent race of extraordinary talent that had defied both His rule and His redemption.  It is a unique race because God made it unique.  It is a lost race because its stubborn resistance has made reconciliation impossible.  It does not assimilate into Christian societies and invariably creates resentment because it diligently works its way into positions of power and attempts to control its hosts. Widespread conspiratorial collusion caps its rise in secular societies.  But since God does not intend it to exercise power its dominion is cruel and devilish resulting in persecution.

Sympathy for Jews is one of the biggest dupes of modern times.  I recently received an email from a woman with a trio of Biblical names that directed me to “Stay out of the Old Testament – it is obsolete.”  Failure to read and understand the entire Bible has allowed American Christians to distort the Gospel and fall into disastrous heretical theologies.  The Bible describes God’s character.  God changes His mind but He does not change His character.  The Old Testament records the works of God Who sent His only Son to provide mercy for His errant chosen people.  When the merciful forgiveness He provided through the death of His only Son was cruelly rejected, He fulfilled His threat to scatter them and at the Diaspora, Christians replaced them as God’s chosen people.  Old Testament promises to the contrary were made prior to the crucifixion and were forsaken.

An English film based on George Eliot’s book “Daniel Deronda” was shown on public television in four parts.  It is now available on DVD.  The story concerns a kind and virtuous young man raised as an English aristocrat by a foster father with no knowledge of his true heritage. He rescues a Jewish girl from suicidal drowning and through a series of miraculous coincidences is claimed by Jewish people who turn out to be related to the girl he rescued.  His mother then asks to see him and he finds that he is the son of Jewish parents and his mother had given him to her lover to be raised as an aristocrat allowing him to avoid the persecution directed at her race.  In a Jewish ceremony he marries the girl her rescued and vows to go to Palestine to help create a Jewish homeland.

It is a touching film but brimming with propaganda that few Gentiles will recognize.  In contrast to his piers Deronda is sympathetic, kind, and full of wisdom.  Jewish persecution in Victorian England is realistically described and the embryo of Zionism is nurtured.  In stark contrast to the lofty power and prestige Jews now enjoy the movie portrays them as poor and humble adding to an emotional sympathy for their persecution.  The concern is not with the artistic endeavor that goes into a movie of this sort or with the story line itself, but rather that an alien race that makes up less than 2 percent of our population controls a vehicle that radically influences our people as well as those in the remainder of the world.  This power is frequently used to denigrate and deteriorate the morals and religion of the host nation while manipulating them into supporting an alien agenda.  It fools the public in a malicious and monstrous way.

A large percentage of the editorials being written in our time are seriously flawed.  Two party politics is a popular subject with the usual vilification of those in the opposing political party.  The dangers of Islam and Sharia law provide popular fare.  One columnist compares Islam and Communism allowing the vestiges of Communist hatred to enter the frantic fear of Islam.    All of this misses the real source of evil power and the real threat to the welfare of the world.  Two party politics has been a huge mendacity from the beginning.

When Leon Panetta was selected to run the CIA and later the Defense Department there was only one consideration – would he be an obedient servant of the cabal that runs the world?  The new world order oligarchs are not concerned with race or with political affiliations.  They do not care if those they support are Republicans, Democrats, Socialists, or Communists; they are not concerned with their professed religious affiliations or their public image; they demand obedience.  Governor Rick Perry of Texas is a prototype.

We need to understand that two party politics is a fraud that has been used to fool us for centuries.  Politicians deceive the public by creating the impression they support programs that are beneficial to America and its inhabitants while at the same time betraying their constituents by voting for legislation they know is inimical.  Think of politicians that voted for GATT, NAFTA, and CAFTA; these are the men and women that helped push our nation into the poverty that threatens to overcome us.  Smart, mild-mannered, and quick witted politicians are often adroit liars.

There is so little truth left in our nation that writing about truth seems unnatural and is rejected by brain washed citizens.  If we had as many Christians willing to obey God as the New World Order oligarchs have traitors, our nation would be a far different place!

Death to Freedom…

Fought in 1967 the Six-Day War substantially expanded the hegemony of neo-Israel and created a frenzy of excitement among Christians.   During my early Christian years I experienced that consuming fire.  Many of us were recent converts we were high on emotion and personal reward and low on sound theology.  Though He was of Divine origin we thought of Jesus as Jewish and regarded His Jewish brothers and sisters with reverence.  To the elation of a new Christian family and a newly redeemed life our leaders added the expectation that Jesus might soon return. Neo-Israel was an intricate part of this expectation and the recipient of an emotion ridden fanatical support that has helped to vault a narcissistic cadre of elite Zionist Jews into positions of world domination.

They control our media, they control our money, they are dominate in business circles, and will determine the identity of the 2012 Republican Presidential candidate.   Michele Bachman, Sarah Palin, and Mike Huckabee are all fanatical Dispensational supporters of Israel, Mitt Romney is a Mormon, Barber, Giuliani and Gingrich are tired pragmatic politicians who would (and have) sell (or sold) the country down the drain for less than thirty pieces of silver.  All of these power seekers have been to Israel for conferences with Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Both Ron Paul and his son, Rand, support Israel. Gingrich, Romney, and Jon Huntsman have condemned Obama for “throwing Israel under the bus”, Gary Johnson has met with Netanyahu and supports Israel and Rick Santorum has called for a holy war.

Please remember, gentle reader, Jews make up about one and a half percent of our population.  Then consider the overwhelming Jewish influence in and around the Obama Administration.

Dispensationalism has been a heretical bonanza for Zionism.  Hoards of wide-eyed, emotion driven Christians have become fanatical supporters of neo-Israel in spite of the fact that the elite Jews who control it hate Christians and use every opportunity to insult, chide, and marginalize them.  As with many progressive disasters this one started with a false premise.

When the leaders of ancient Israel rejected God’s only Son as propitiation for their chronic disobedience it was an arrogant affront that resulted in the oft-threatened scattering that marked the Diaspora.  Not only did God’s Chosen People refuse to obey Him but they refused to accept the forgiveness He mercifully provided.

“Jesus said to him (Thomas), ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.’”  John 14:6 Henceforth, the ONLY access to God, The Father, is through The Son, Jesus, The Christ.

The Blood of the Paraclete was willingly shouldered by His rejecters and remains on their shoulders to this day. “And when Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but rather that a riot was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the multitude, saying, ‘I am innocent of this Man’s blood; see to that yourselves’.  And all the people answered and said, ‘His blood be on us and on our children!’”. Matthew 27: 24-25

God promised to gather His people from around the world but the promise was made before the wanton crucifixion of His Only Son.   We are living under a New Covenant; Jesus is King and no one comes to the Father but through Him.  Jews may repent and come to the Father under the Blood of Jesus and some have.  However, Judaism is a defiant religion that cannot receive God’s blessing.

Disobedience cannot be blest because it usurps God’s throne.  It pushes aside the Creator and crowns the creature.  The Old Testament chronicles the blessing (for obedience) and cursing (for disobedience) that filled the history of God’s chosen people.

As a culmination of many mercies the Diaspora was a fulfillment of God’s many threats to divorce and scatter His chosen people.  The rejection of His Son was the final nail in the coffin, following the destruction of the Temple the Jews were scattered throughout the world.  They became a people without a country until a pact between the Rothschild and Balfour families set the stage for the disobedient incursion of hundreds of thousands of Jews into land that under God’s order had been owned and occupied by Arabs for hundreds of years.  The incursion was a humanistic attempt to reverse what God wrought through the Diaspora; an incursion that has resulted in 75 years of strife. It is a human endeavor accomplished by military might for a people who are more disobedient to His Commandments today than they were when He scattered them two thousand years ago.  It bears no resemblance to the quick, miraculous victories that marked the fulfillment of the Will of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

We recently visited a missionary friend who is a Charismatic Christian.  With tears in his eyes he told us that his prayers brought a baby back from the dead and healed several afflicted people.  He was adamant about accepting and loving his fellow Christians and offering consistent help to the needy.  It was not a conversation but a lecture on the faithfulness of God to a servant willing to minister to the poor and needy with faith and persistence

Nevertheless, I left the meeting with a heavy heart because my concerns with God’s judgment resulting from the lack fruit from the Body of Christ were never addressed.  Our conversation began when I outlined my Christian walk through the Charismatic Movement into Reformed Christianity and Christian Reconstruction.  I explained the unreliability of the emotionalism that typifies pietism but the statement was never acknowledged.  Since I was the only one who asked questions I became a listener and was never able to point out that the quest for human healing centers attention on the creature.  It is a humanistic endeavor that can glorify God but usually glorifies the human instrument.  Nor was I able to point out that healing is a genuine product of faith in God but it is neither the major theme of His Word nor the major desire of His heart – that is obedience.

It was disobedience that required God to sacrifice His only Son and it is disobedience that is the cause of our current dilemma.  If you are a Dispensational Christian you may think that you “made a decision for Christ” but that is not the case. Jesus said that no man could become a Christian unless The Father chose him and drew him. John 6:44  God always does the choosing (check the Bible) and He expects that those whom He chooses will obey His Commandments.  Jews were chosen and rebelled, then Christians were chosen and they rebelled, both resisted obedience.

It is a sad irony that rebellious Dispensational Christians in America are falling under the captivity of God’s original, still rejected, defiant people, the Jews.

Recently Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel Prime Minister, spoke before a joint session of congress where he received 29 standing (sycophantic) ovations.  Israel controls the United States. Not a single United States remained seated for each understood that criticism of Israel is death to an American political career.

Christian Goats

There is a time coming when we will be forced to determine what constitutes a problem and what constitutes a solution – for those who are not Christaphobes we might call it separating the sheep from the goats.  There are a lot of goats!  With all the turmoil in the world we have not heard much from the Communist Party but it is still there and when the turmoil reaches an apogee it will be well organized and ready to take charge.  Already people are taking to the streets in demonstrations; and throughout the world. Domestic demonstrations are contagious so our media does not report them.

Attempts to destabilize America have been going on for a long time.  Revolutions produce chaos and chaos provides an opportunity to install new governments. There are many organizations and groups seeking power; some present a real threat.  The Communist Party is ready, able and a world-wide danger; Zionism is a similar threat.  The New World order and its United Nations arm are eager and ready.  Standing armies have always been a threat.  China and Russia are powerful nations ready to stand on top of the pyramid.  Libertarians and Anarchists have ideological agendas, and Mexicans are waiting in the wings.

Over the past several decades law enforcement in the United States has increased its use of force and its demand for undeserved “respect”.  Lack of concern for justice and robotic enforcement of the law (often bad law) fosters widespread public resentment at a time when chaos is imminent and a respected, efficient police force is sorely needed.

Unfortunately, the Christian Church has forsaken God and pursued a humanistic political solution to a religious problem. It has taken an untenable position; complaining loudly about abortion and homosexuality while steadfastly denying the basis for forbidding these practices.  Christians do not understand that law forms the religious base of society and it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God while obeying the laws of a secular government.

In the current issue of the SCP Journal (Spiritual Counterfeits Project) Lee Penn has written an interesting article entitled “Anti-Christs and False Messiahs Down the Ages”.

Penn believes that “within the Catholic and Protestant churches, there are movements and habits of thought that may predispose many people to heed the Deceiver when he stages a falsified “Second Coming of Christ.”  He believes that both Catholics and Protestants “have similar dreams of establishing a national – or global – Christian regime before the end of the age.  Included with those that might produce a “false Christ” is much maligned Christian Reconstruction, one of the few sheep in a sea of goats.

Sans some essential pieces, the objectives of Christian Reconstruction are fairly well outlined.  Penn uses the phrase “Old Testament Law” as a derogatory term and informs his readers that Reconstructionists seek to Christianize the world and set up a theocracy before the Return of Christ.   He describes this quest as a “dream of an orderly, righteous, religious utopia”.

Penn is rejecting a sheep and siding with a goat.

After tracing the Biblical description of times that will precede the Second Coming, he fails to note that this description has resulted in the imminent anticipation of Jesus’ return repeatedly from the New Testament era to the present.  He also fails to mention that Jesus said that He, Himself, did not know the day or time, nor did the Angels. (Matthew 24:36)  That statement should be enough to stop the embarrassment, contention, and massive waste of time and energy numerous theories about this event have created.  The day and time should be left in the Hands of God (where it belongs) and we should fight the battle and do the work assigned to us.

Penn has fallen into the disastrous trap of “occupying” until Jesus comes again.  He seems to believe that “occupy” is a Pietistic term that means biding an indeterminate amount of time with navel gazing (introspection and self evaluation), repentance, prayer for our enemies, humility, and spiritual acuity.  There is nothing specifically wrong with any of this but it is a truncated directive that immobilizes the Body of Christ and allows the forces of evil full sway.

Jesus directed us to take the Gospel into all the world.  Evangelism is close to God’s Heart and an essential part of the Christian religion.  It is, however, not the most important part; that is obedience.  From Genesis to Revelation God seeks an obedient people. The Bible describes the character of God.  He changes His mind but not His character.  When God gave the Law to Moses He gave His people directions on how they were to behave to bring lasting righteousness, peace, and prosperity.  For those who do not heed His Commandments He promised immorality, strife, and poverty.  The Law is a reflection of God’s character and a perennial guide for proper behavior.

There are several problems with Lee Penn’s theology:  1) He has fallen into the trap of assuming the Second Coming is imminent.  This assumption plays into the hands of God’s enemies by paralyzing His warriors.  The day and time of the Second Coming will be determined by God.  It is not our concern!   2) He believes the quest for order and righteousness is a “Utopian” “dream” and seems willing to allow evil forces to overcome Christianity while he waits to be raptured.  3)  He advises us to “occupy” and joins the do nothing but wait body of Christian fig trees that Christ specifically condemned. 4) His antinomian position fails to provide a structure for obedience.  5) Mr. Penn concludes that false Christs are a spiritual problem when the Bible identifies them as an obedience problem.  False prophets are to be executed and if we really believed in the God we pretend to worship we would agree with that punishment.

Immorality is progressing quickly, violence is increasing by leaps and bounds, and poverty is apparent everywhere.  These are the punishments God promised to those who disobeyed His Commandments.  Professing Christians do what is right in their own eyes and all of us are subject to the immoral laws our government has legally placed upon us.  Spirituality is not an antidote to behavioral sin.  The only antidote is repentance and obedience.  God has not changed.  His standards for behavior have not changed.  His Son has provided forgiveness for our sins but that has not changed His expectations. In the New Covenant Christians are His chosen people.  He expects us to be obedient

Christian Reconstructionists do not intend to impose God’s Law on a secular society.  We believe an ever increasing number of Christians will assent to obey God’s Laws and eventually an obedient world will result.  We are a tiny group but God showed His preference for tiny groups by reducing Gideon’s men to 300. (Judges 7)

Penn advises us to examine ourselves and repent of our sin.  He advises us to end our participation in evil and deception.  It is good advice but Penn does not specify exactly what constitutes “sin”, “evil”, and “deception”.  Pietism always leaves the door open for humanism by failing to provide God’s specific direction.

Sin is disobedience to God’s Law.  If we are ever to regain God’s blessing we must become obedient.

Penn chides Reconstruction’s intention to return God’s creation to His control by obeying His Laws.  He is a pragmatist who believes Christians cannot be successful in transforming entire social structures.  As he reproaches the full orbed theology of Christian Reconstruction he fails to note that Islam is growing faster than Christianity and according to one of their websites it is because “Islam is a complete way of life. It tells man about the purpose of his creation and existence, his ultimate destiny, his place among other creatures and more importantly, it provides him with guidance to lead a balanced and purposeful life which will enable him to avoid the Hell-fire and be rewarded with a place in Paradise in the life after death.”

Penn is a smart guy; a Phi Beta Kappa who graduated cum laude from Harvard.  His research and writing are above reproach but he leaves Christians in the same useless quagmire they have occupied since they allowed foreign theologies to dominate their religion more than two centuries ago.

Jesus Was Not A Right-Winger, Part 317

“Take heed that no man deceive you.” – Matthew 24:4

The left-right paradigm is a grand deception that has done indescribable damage to intelligent thought for quite some time. Christians, who are told not to let anyone deceive them, have fallen into this trap as easily as any group in society.

Consider the fact that Hitler was supposedly on the extreme right while Stalin was on the extreme left. Was there any difference between them other than the size of the eight-digit body counts they left in their wakes?

In America, Bush and Obama are portrayed as polar opposites. Their deeds tell us otherwise. We elected “conservative” Bush who would go on to outspend “liberal” Clinton by $1 trillion per year. Then we elected “peace candidate” Obama who continued Bush’s wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and – let’s be honest – Pakistan, and started a war in Libya and is ramping things up in Yemen.

Recently, an old friend sent me an article by Andrew Sullivan on the contradictions inherent in the agenda of America’s Religious Right (RR). As I don’t pay much attention to the mainstream media nowadays, I don’t know a lot about Andrew Sullivan. However, he makes some very pungent points here.

Sullivan states:

“No, the Americanism now heard on the right is that America was uniquely founded on Christianity, that America is therefore a chosen instrument of divine Providence, and that this moral superiority is so profound that indicting America on any prudential, moral or political grounds is un-American or, if it comes from abroad, evil.”

While I believe that America’s Founding had profound Christian roots, the agenda of the contemporary RR is as far removed from the principles spelled out in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution as it is from the teachings of Christ.

Jesus had no political agenda. He wasn’t a left-winger or a right-winger. Nor was He a liberal or a conservative. These are all earthly philosophies, which the Bible warns are doomed to failure – I Corinthians 1:19, 20; II Corinthians 10:5; Colossians 2:4, 8.

It sickens how so many people claim that Jesus would be on their side politically. (I say this as one who was very caught up in the whole RR deal from 1986 to 1991.) Four times, Jesus was offered political power and four times He rejected it – Matthew 4:9-10 and 21:9, John 6:15 and Acts 1:6.

With that, I want to give just a brief summary of the points Sullivan makes.

• Sullivan cites Galatians 3:28 and states that “Christianity cannot be co-opted by nationalism.” The RR has convinced millions of American Christians that they should unconditionally support “their country” as it wages endless war abroad. Well, if this is the case, didn’t first century Christians have a duty to brainlessly support Roman military conquests? And didn’t German Christians in the late 1930s have the same duty to support “their country” as it ran roughshod across Europe?

Hitler, too, claimed that God was on his side.

• Sullivan quotes the Great Commission – Matthew 28:19 – where Jesus instructs His Disciples to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” He does not say, “Bomb the crap out of countries that have done nothing to you and kill countless thousands of innocent Ayyyy-raaaaabs.”

• Sullivan corrects a leftist reader about Christianity and economics. The Old Testament condemns theft and covetousness – Exodus 20:15, 17. Jesus likewise condemns these things in Mark 7:22. True Christian charity is always rendered voluntarily and joyfully – II Corinthians 9:7.

• Sullivan is right: “Torture is, of course, an intrinsic evil, regardless what one calls it.” It is a malignancy on the contemporary church that so many professing Christians condone torture. Good ends do not justify bad means – Romans 3:5-8. The entire point of torture is to inflict so much pain on someone that they will say absolutely anything to get you to stop. The biblical standard for determining guilt, however, is the testimony of at least two witnesses – Deuteronomy 19:15; I Timothy 5:19. Presuming guilt runs contrary to the Golden Rule – Matthew 7:12.

It has been said that torture has as much to do with truth as rape does with making love. Jesse Ventura once remarked that if you gave him ten minutes with Dick Cheney on a water board, he would have no trouble getting Deferment Dick to confess to the murder of Sharon Tate.

Sullivan wraps things up by saying: “By wresting it from its proper context, attaching it to a single nation-state, using it to defend public policies that are, at bottom, anathema to the priorities of the Gospels, Christianists are indeed not Christians.”

Blasphemy!

The Bible contains the word “king” almost 2000 times. Hence, Christians need to be ever mindful of doings in the political realm. However, the idea that America is an “exceptional nation” has no basis in Christianity. I do believe that America is referred to in Revelation 18, as an economic colossus that was brought to ruin “in one hour” because of its moral wickedness. However, America is never mentioned by name, whereas Persia, Syria and Libya are. This ought to tell you just how unimportant America is in God’s Eyes.

Also, Christians are instructed to “believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world” – I John 4:1. Millions of Christians today are so lacking in discernment that they will believe all sorts of madness as long as somebody somewhere calls it “Christian.” Hence the contradiction that those who claim to be “pro-life” and to follow the “Prince of Peace” – Isaiah 9:6 – are the most incessant cheerleaders for – here I go again – unprovoked war, torture, spying, guilt without trial, .

I swear I could probably write a book on this stuff if only I could justify it physically and financially.

Will Armies Establish His Kingdom?

German Christians helped elect Hitler to power and supported his aggressive policies during the 1930s and beyond. American Christians supported President George W. Bush and the imperialistic invasion of Iraq.  Though many are now dubious there is still substantial support for an American victory and widespread reverence for our troops.

The military has been a respected branch of our government since the birth of the nation.  We fought the Indians and replaced them, first, in the East and later across the entire continent; we fought for our independence from Britain, twice; we invaded and appropriated Texas, California and the remainder of the West; over 600 thousand of our citizens died when the government exerted its power to enforce its Constitutional jurisdiction; we fought the Spanish for sections of the South and killed 200 thousand Filipinos to control the Philippines; we waved our flag and sent our young men to Europe to die for the dreams and avarice of the world’s elite, twice; we ventured into the human morass of the Far East and fought pointless wars in Korea and Vietnam; now, with troops in 140 of the world’s nations we are engaged in a decade old, war in the Middle East where we have constructed embassies and built fortifications that imply an intent to remain permanently.  American Christians have, for the most part, supported our aggressive behavior.

President George W. Bush characterized the invasion of Iraq as an altruistic venture to establish democracy but instead the infrastructure has been destroyed, tribal conflicts flourish, hundreds of thousands have been killed, millions of citizens have fled, and those that remain live in a police state lacking many of life’s essentials.  It was a selfish war than won us a measure of hegemony at a terrible cost in suffering and hatred.

Though this tragic disregard for human life has exacerbated Islamic hatred for “The Great Satan”, many American Christians fear Islam, have developed a visceral dislike for Muslims and Arabs, and support killing as many as possible.

C-Span ran an historical program on Robert E. Lee.  His military genius and religious fervor beamed forth in spite of an obvious bias. The program assumed that slavery was the issue and the defeat of the South was a victory for righteousness. One commentator maintained both sides believe God was on their side. It was mentioned that Lee was a pious man but no distinction was made between the battlefield conduct of the opposing armies and nothing was presented on the rights of the Southern States to secede.  It was a pro-war documentary.

It seems God has included a sufficient number of paradoxes in His Word to confound human reason.  He promised to His chosen people of a land of milk and honey and His participation in a forcible conquest and genocide has provided an aggressive theme that is foreign to the Law given to Moses. The spirit of manifest destiny prevalent in Colonial America was responsible for the slaughter of the indigenous Indian population.  The same spirit is at work in the Middle East as neo-Israel is slowly annihilating the original inhabitants of the land they now occupy.

The Huguenots were French Calvinists.  Wikipedia’s definition http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huguenot includes this telling description: “In their countries of refuge, Huguenots fostered a distinctive French Protestant identity that enabled them to remain aloof from the culture of their host society. In all cases Huguenots asserted themselves as a self-confident minority, convinced of the superiority of their language and culture, and believed themselves to be privileged in this world as in the next.”

Chosen by God, obedient Christians are privileged members of society.  This distinction has been lost in the effete Christian theology of our time.   Christians are meant to be the wisest, most productive, most obedient, and most peaceful people in God’s creation.   We are to enjoy privileges and blessings not accorded outsiders.   When God gave Moses the Law He gave His people a gift that could make them superior to their neighbors.  In the 26^th Chapter of Leviticus God records the blessings resulting from obedience to His Law.  “If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, then I will give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit. Indeed, your threshings will last for you until grape gathering, and grape gathering will last until sowing time.  You will thus eat your food to the full and live securely in your land.  I shall also grant peace in the land, so that you may lie down with no one making you tremble.  I shall also eliminate harmful beasts from the land, and no sword will pass through your land.  But you will chase your enemies, and they will fall before you by the sword; five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by the sword.  So I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you and I will confirm my covenant with you.  I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.”

Recently, a Christian minister whose work I respect called me to account for condemning Manifest Destiny and the murder of the American Indians.  He wrote “Viewing what occurred with the American Indians from Yahweh’s sovereignty (thus, His intention, for whatever reason, for them to be either killed and dispossessed), could it be possible that like the Canaanites that the Indians’ iniquity had finally gotten to the point that Yahweh unleashed His wrath upon them, providing a homeland for Christianity to (hopefully) flourish?”

The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it.  He can do with it as He sees fit.  If He decides to wipe out a population and allow His chosen people to occupy their land His action is righteous and He has every right to do so.  However, the Old Testament nation God created on the Promised Land was not an imperialistic entity.  Its battles resulted from disobedience and were against invaders and indigenous enemies of their own creation. God gave the nation victory and defeat in accordance with the blessing and cursing of obedience and disobedience.  He did not order a Babylonian genocide or direct His people to invade the pagan world.

Peace is a product of obedience to God’s Commandments.  God will not fight on the side of those who ignore His Law. Failure to obey results in the transgressor being on the losing side of the conflicts his behavior has created.  God may use people and nations that He has not specifically chosen but His dealings with His chosen people are different than with those He has not chosen.  Since He gave the Law to Moses as a gift that would make his chosen people superior to their neighbors He still expects His chosen people to obey His Law and when they ignore the Law He ignores their plight and their efforts fail.  For decades American Christians have been working to change our political system.  They have failed.

God’s promise to provide His people with a land of milk and honey and His orders to slay its indigenous population was a unique, one-time event that was not to be repeated. It is our duty to obey God’s Law in all of our affairs and to bring to the world the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ.  If we are obedient God will extend His Kingdom and not only our nation but the remainder of the world will be blest.

Unfortunately, the United States of America has never been a Christian nation.  It has never had a Christian government; it has never enjoyed theological agreement or religious unanimity.  The seeds of discord were planted in Europe before the major immigration to the New World.  When the Constitution was drafted there were Catholics, and various Protestant denominations. The Biblical structure for a Christian nation requires agreement between the people and their leadership to worship the One True God exclusively and obey His Commandments.  We have always been a nation overwhelmingly populated by professing Christians.  But the “Christian” description is misleading because the theological divergence between Catholics and Protestants produces a serious separation which becomes even more serious with the major differences among the various Protestant denominations.  These differences are so severe they create different religions which contend with another.  At the founding there was more agreement among the nation’s leaders over Masonry than there was in the population over Christianity.

Christians are meant to be a privileged people.  As He did throughout the Bible, God chooses His people and provides them with His Law so that they might receive blessings far above their pagan neighbors.  They are royalty, Heaven bound through the forgiveness provided by God’s own Son, and when they have subdued the enemy they are destined to live in peace.

Jesus claimed He was not bringing peace but a sword.  He was not supporting imperialism but instead a robust proclamation of the Gospel of forgiveness and obedience and a fearless confrontation of the devil’s activities along with a stout solution.

For a nation that has never been invaded the United States of America has fought an inordinate number of wars.  Some have gained territory but most have caused the premature deaths of millions of people and accomplished nothing.

The theological heresy that contends that God’s people must wait for the return of Christ before working to establish His hegemony is as paralyzing as the fixation on the imminent return of Christ.  Christians have been chosen to be warriors for God’s Kingdom.  Their primary vocation is to extend God’s hegemony over His creation by reminding the world of His Law and the blessings of obedience.  We must be zealous for a Christian world and we must understand that God will work with us in bringing about that endeavor.

A real Christian nation will be blest with peace both within and without.

To Whom is the Nation Beholden?

“Woe to her who is rebellious and defiled, the tyrannical city!  She heeded no voice; she accepted no instruction. She did not trust in the Lord; she did not draw near to her God.”  Zephaniah 3:1-2

Sages tell the profligate that fleeing will not cure inner demons. The Jonah syndrome is common.  It is applicable to our nation.  We are entering a New Year dragging the baggage of yesteryear while stubbornly resisting the voice of God.

Our government has not served the people since the Constitution was written and ratified.  It was crafted by men who uttered pious Christian phrases but followed another gospel. They created a document that violated the First Commandment (First Amendment) by allowing citizens to worship other gods and then set the stage for satanic leaders by forbidding a Christian oath (Article Six).  Serious research will quickly refute the widespread belief that the United States was created as a Christian nation.  Read here.

English and other European Christians immigrated to the United States seeking religious freedom and propagation of the Gospel.  Our nation, then and now, was overwhelmingly populated by Christians.  But the elected leaders of the United States have been predominantly humanistic and Luciferian.  Antinomian churches have failed to properly critique public morality and the slide into evil has been continuous.

History is written by the winners; those that hold power.  It is a form of propaganda.  Americans have been taught to venerate the Founders and to honor the Constitution.  “USA Today” recently published the results of a Gallop Poll asking this question: “Because of its history and Constitution do you think the United States has a unique character that makes it the greatest country in the world?”  Eighty percent said yes.  Sixty-six percent believe the United States has a “special responsibility to be the leading nation in world affairs”.  The poll also found that a majority of our citizens believe we may be losing our leadership position and that President Obama is part of the problem.

America was founded on verdant soil soaked with the blood of hundreds of thousands of indigenous Indians murdered by the juggernaut of manifest destiny.  It was led by men who had no allegiance to higher authority supported by antinomian, pragmatic Christians puffed with pride.  Slowly the embers of Biblical Law atrophied and were forgotten replaced by the cancer of evil freedoms.

Lawless Christianity, stripped of defined righteousness, produces a flock of “name it and claim it” self centered converts who defy Grace by living as pagans while claiming the name of God’s obedient Son.  They are easily duped.  Vice- President Joe Biden recently declared that “the evolution that will permit gays to soon serve in the military eventually will bring a national consensus for same-sex marriage.”  His boss, President Obama, has incorporated death panels into the new healthcare legislation.  Libertarian congressman Ron Paul, a hero for many Christians, voted to legitimatize homosexuality in the armed forces.  Evil sentiments are shared by the upper strata of both political parties and the majority of our Christian leaders along with their mislead followers support one of the branches of this wicked system.

Every day I receive emails from influential Christians who seek the “restoration of America’s unique, original Republic created in the U. S. Constitution” claiming that “Based on Biblical principles our constitution is the basis on which our Republic exists.”  Do these men and women actually believe that real Christian leaders would have created a governing document that allowed the worship of other gods in direct violation God’s First Commandment or that they would have allowed it to forbid a Christian oath of office setting the stage for a predominantly Christian population to be governed by pagans?

President Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden, whose beliefs countermand God’s Commandments, are legally entitled to impose the laws of the anti-Christ on the United States population.  How could highly intelligent, well educated men like Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, and Madison create such a document if they were truly Christians?

Further, if the Constitution allows the satanic parade we are currently witnessing why are we supporting it and calling for obedience to it?  Is our allegiance to the Constitution or the One True God and His pristine commandments?    Is He not a jealous God and does He not demand exclusivity and oppose competing deities?

The Constitution allowed the creation of the monster that threatens to devour us?  Patrick Henry claimed the new nation would not last a hundred years.  His timing was off but his sentiment was correct.   It was our Constitution and the Federalism it created that precipitated the Civil War.  Slavery was an issue but President Lincoln refused to honor the secession of the Southern States.  He claimed the despotic right to preserve the Union by force.  The Constitution created a Union that is quickly becoming tyrannical.

Tell me, gentle reader, do we pray to the Constitution?  Is it the Constitution that God set forth as the basis for His Kingdom?  In the face of overwhelming evil is the Constitution the Biblical antidote?  Have we not substituted the Constitution for repentance and obedience?  Has the Constitution become an idol that blocks the righteousness of the One True God?

The Founders of our nation wanted to create barriers to tyranny because they were very familiar with the despotic nature of European governments.  Checks and balances were incorporated into our Constitution.  But checks and balances do not create a Biblical government.

Our society is deteriorating, both physically and morally.  We no longer live in a nation governed by the people and for the people.  We are one more false flag terrorist incident away from martial law and the complete loss of the freedom we frantically seeking to preserve.

We have been changed from a quasi-Christian order to a pagan order by substituting the law of the anti-Christ for the principles of the Bible.  The Blue Laws honored the Sabbath and when they faded, laws against fornication and adultery faded with them.  Many of these statutes were enforced during the depression years of the 1930s but were lost during WWII.  When these laws were lost laws against homosexuality also began to crumble.  Our Constitution failed to provide support for Christian legal standards making them easier to overturn and ignore. Read here.

It was our Supreme Court that legalized the murder of babies.  Since a Christian oath is forbidden by our Constitution anti-Christian judges are regularly appointed to our supreme court where they become the source of satanic law.  One need only survey the congress and count the pragmatic stuffed shirts that consistently vote for their own self interest.  Charley Reece was exactly correct when he wrote “One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president and nine Supreme Court justices – 545 human beings out of the 235 million – are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.” Responsibility lies with the immoral individuals our Constitution allows us to elect.

Because history has been distorted with propaganda most Americans do not know that along with Patrick Henry there was substantial opposition to the Constitution with several states being reluctant to ratify.  Read here. Brain washing has been so successful that there was more opposition to the Constitution in 1788 than there is today!

We cannot expect to have a righteous government when the document our elected officials are under oath to support fails to mention the source of the righteousness we seek!  Christians must return to the Bible and to God’s unchanging Law.  Law determines right and wrong.  There are two forces in the world; God and Satan. Righteousness is a result of obedience to God and His Law; evil is a result of obedience to pagan men and their laws.  Satan hates God’s Law.

Second Chronicles 7:!4 is a popular, often quoted Old Testament verse:  “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”  Being humble, praying, and seeking God’s face in order to petition Him to honor our patriotic image of America is insulting to His authority.  He will not be manipulated!  He wants His people to worship and obey Him.   There is only one Biblical pattern for turning from our wicked ways and that is repentance and obedience.  We are failing to stem the downward slide of our nation because God does not hear the prayers of a disobedient people.

Christians must recognize their own sins and the sins of the nation (humble prayer and seeking God’s face) and vow to obey. (Read and determine to obey God’s Law).   It is impossible to please God while living under an evil government that imposes a pagan legal system.

Conversion into an antinomian church produces Jonah syndrome Christians who escape from the striving of humanism into an oblivious peace while sitting on the evil baggage they brought with them without a map for its removal while harvesting others who become similar.  Like Jonah they remain recalcitrant. The result is weakness and ruin.

Time For Christians To Shred Their Bibles

Many of us grew up in Sunday School and church. We have heard the great Bible stories over and over. We heard about the story of how Moses’ mother defied Pharaoh and hid her little baby boy in bulrushes. We heard the story of how Moses killed the Egyptian taskmaster defending a Hebrew slave and later became the great deliverer of God’s people. We heard the story of young David going out alone against the Philistines’ greatest warrior, Goliath. We heard the story of how Saul’s servants refused to carry out the king’s order to murder the priest Ahimelech. We know well the story of Daniel who defied his government’s order to refrain from praying. The names Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are very familiar to us. We heard our teachers and preachers extol their courage in defying the government’s order to bow to the image of their emperor. We remember that John the Baptist went to prison (and was eventually beheaded), not for preaching the Gospel, but for criticizing the king for his immoral behavior. We certainly recall the story of Simon Peter who bluntly told his civil magistrates, “We ought to obey God rather than men.” We know that the Apostle Paul wrote many of his epistles from inside government prisons. We certainly recall that before John penned the Revelation, he had been banished to an island-prison by his civil authorities.

I challenge Christians to objectively look at the great stories of Bible heroes (in both testaments) and observe how many times they are noted for either being martyred for defying a civil authority, or, perhaps, for being delivered from death for defying a civil authority. The stories of defiance to civil government (in one form or another) comprise a great percentage of all the stories contained in the Bible–perhaps even a majority of them.

So, how has it happened that a majority of today’s Christians, it seems, have become such sheepish slaves of government? How has it happened that, for the most part, the concept of courage in the face of government oppression has been totally lost to the average Christian, pastor, and church? For all intents and purposes, it is time for many Christians to shred their Bibles, because the lessons and principles of God’s Word have absolutely no influence over their attitudes and conduct.

For example, if the story of Peter in prison were being experienced today, instead of the church rallying behind their pastor and conducting an all-night prayer meeting for him, most church members would be excoriating him in the name of Romans chapter 13. Instead of Paul being let down the wall in a basket to escape the civil authorities trying to apprehend him, the average Christian today would be the first one to turn him over to the authorities.

In the mind of the average Christian, God is not God; government is God! For instance, when one well-known Christian attorney was recently confronted by the teaching of Scripture relative to the church’s independence from government (meaning, no church should allow itself to be subject to the government’s tyrannical 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt status), he said, “That might be Biblically correct, but it is not legally correct.” In other words, the “Christian” attorney would rather a church be legal than Biblical. And, unfortunately, that seems to be the attitude of the vast majority of professing Christians today. They would rather please the government than please God; they would rather obey the government than obey God; they would rather be at peace with the government than be at peace with God.

And when it comes to the courage of risking anything of value in order to do right, forget it!

Think of what Abram risked when he obeyed God and left his country and kin and struck out for a land that God had not even told him of. Think of what Moses risked when he killed that Egyptian; think of what Joshua and Caleb risked when they defied the entire nation that was following the evil counsel of the ten spies; think of what David risked when he faced the giant; think of what Elijah risked when he confronted 850 false prophets all by himself; think of what the Old Testament prophets risked when they rebuked or challenged the kings of Israel and Judah; think of what the disciples risked when they “left all” and followed Jesus; think of what the early church risked when it embraced the Gospel and defied the wishes of Rome and Jewry (not to mention their own families and friends). But these stories are more like fairy tales to the average Christian today. They serve no practical benefit whatsoever!

Let a church deacon, trustee, or elder be told by some government-backed attorney that he is really a corporate officer, subject to the laws and punishments of IRS tax codes, and that church leader will say anything, sign anything, or do anything to save his own financial security. In order to not jeopardize his own standing with the IRS, that same church leader would turn his back on his best friend, or gladly join with the government in prosecuting a fellow believer.

I personally know of more than one case where professing Christians either lied against a beloved brother in order to protect themselves against threatened government (read: IRS) penalties, or actually testified for the prosecution (read: IRS) under oath in a court of law against a Christian brother. In each case, these “brothers” actually felt it was their “Christian duty” to betray their friends and brothers and help the government.

I am reminded of the verse where Jesus said, “Yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.” (John 16:2 KJV)

I am also reminded of the warning from the prophet Jeremiah when he cautioned, “Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders. And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.” (Jeremiah 9:4,5 KJV)

Jeremiah’s prophecy is spot-on! Christians today cannot be trusted to be faithful to the truth; they cannot be trusted to not betray and turn against their brethren; they cannot be trusted to not be party with slander and libel. If it means saving their own skin, or keeping their bread buttered, or staying in the good graces of the IRS, they would sell out their best friend–maybe even their own mother! And it is no coincidence that Jeremiah, himself, experienced firsthand that which he had spoken. It is no wonder he said, “Trust ye not any brother.”

When will Christians get it through their heads (and in their hearts) that oftentimes government is the enemy of God? When will they understand that they have only one Sovereign: King Jesus? When will they come to comprehend that helping government perpetrate unjust action against fellow believers is a crime against Heaven? When will they stop talking about the Bible and actually start internalizing its teachings, examples, and principles?

It has gotten to the point today many unbelievers are far more trustworthy than today’s Christians–especially when it comes to the subject of resisting unjust government. It grieves me say that many “Christian” attorneys, politicians, pastors, and church leaders are merely shills and toadies for a government that has often become both oppressive and illegitimate!

May God help us! He will have to, because we won’t get much help from the vast majority of today’s professing Christians. That is for sure!

“Spiritual Wickedness In High Places”

Almost immediately after Adam’s fall, Lucifer and his minions collaborated with evil men to usurp God’s authority and sovereignty. And nowhere is God more sovereign than in the heart and conscience of man. In the spirit world, the First Commandment (“Thou shalt have no other gods before me”) is the battleground that is most fought over. The war for man’s heart and soul is never-ending.

Nimrod was the first would-be tyrant to try and bring the world into a global “New World Order.” His handiwork produced the Tower of Babel, which brought about a cataclysmic judgment from Jehovah. However, while Nimrod was the first globalist to try and unify the nations against God, he was certainly not the last. The Pharaohs, Darius, Artaxerxes, Cyrus, Alexander, Nebuchadnezzar, the Caesars, and hundreds like them have all brought their tyrannical rule over the hearts of men. And their ideas and passions are as alive and active in the world today as ever.

With every would-be world tyrant, there is one constant: the unholy marriage between a supranational government and Big Religion. If Jehovah God made anything clear in the Mosaic model of government, it was the fact that–until Christ Himself comes to occupy both offices–the offices of Priest and King were to be eternally separate. At least one Old Testament Jewish king learned that lesson the hard way.

Yet, Big Government and Big Religion have always come together for the purpose of enslaving the masses. The devilish duo of Big Government and Big Religion killed the Old Testament prophets. They hung Jesus on the cross and persecuted the early Church. They murdered masses during the Dark Ages; they managed the Holocaust; and their obnoxious offspring are still at work today. This criminal cabal has been the bane of genuine faith and personal liberty since the beginning of time.

When Colonial America fired that shot heard around the world and fought their way to independence, they broke free, not only from the political domination of the Crown, but also from the religious domination of a State Church. No longer would citizens be required to join a particular church in order to hold public office. No longer would citizens be required to financially support churches and institutions they deemed to be offensive to their spiritual convictions. No longer could a religious institution use the power and force of civil government to subjugate men to its tenets and, yes, tentacles. Indeed, the apostate kingdom created by Constantine’s spiritual whoredom ended at the eastern shore of America!

And dare I say that I am proud of my Anabaptist forebears for helping to embed the principle of religious liberty into American law and jurisprudence? Indeed, I am! What many Americans do not know (and what many militant secularists refuse to acknowledge) is that it was the influence of the Colonial Baptists–most notably, the Baptist minister John Leland–that was most responsible for the First Amendment being added to the US Constitution.

Therefore, it is more than disturbing when I see evangelical Christians being seduced by the ancient Big Government/Big Religion whorish union today. How can any true Gospel preacher accept federal Faith-Based Initiative monies, except that he has either lost all understanding of what freedom truly means, or is willing to sacrifice the sacred principles of liberty upon the altar of his own selfish interests? How can any true Gospel preacher not realize that Big Religion has always conspired with tyrannical governmental forces against the true Gospel message? Why are they so blind to these devilish conspiracies? At the highest levels of virtually every major religion, the conspiracy to hijack truth and enslave the masses is constantly at work.

This is what the Apostle Paul warned about in Ephesians 6:12. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Of course, the “rulers of the darkness of this world” are demonic. But it is also an absolute certainty that these demonic forces accomplish their devilish deeds through evil men who are given to “spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Was not the spiritual netherworld complicit in helping to construct Nimrod’s Tower of Babel? Was not spiritual wickedness at work when Pharaoh murdered the little children of the Hebrews? Were not dark principalities at work when Nebuchadnezzar ordered everyone to bow to the image of the Babylonian leader? When the Lord Jesus called Jewish King Herod a “fox,” was not He acknowledging Herod’s complicity with evil? Were not spiritual powers aiding and abetting the Jewish Sanhedrin when they moved the crowd to crucify the Son of God? When the early Church was being persecuted, was not spiritual wickedness at work? When nonconforming Christians were thrown to the lions and sawn asunder, were not their tormentors influenced by these same rulers of darkness? Of course they were!

Then, why is it so difficult for modern Christians–especially our pastors and preachers–to understand that this unholy union of Big Government and Big Religion is as evil and sinful today as it ever was? Why are they unwilling to recognize that the same devilish system that plagued the Church throughout the ages–suspended only temporarily by the successful revolution for American independence–is rearing its ugly head again? Why are they unwilling to believe that many of America’s leaders (from both parties) routinely give themselves to luciferian rituals, such as those annual dances around the fire at the Bohemian Grove? Why is it so hard to believe that we have leaders (from both parties) who have given themselves to dark, secret societies, such as Skull and Bones? Why are they not suspicious when certain religious schools and institutions repeatedly produce many of the leaders (from both parties) who seem to universally take America down the same path of globalism?

As most Christians should know, The Beast of Revelation is as much a SYSTEM as it is a person. As the Apostle John warned, the “spirit of antichrist… even now already is it in the world.” (I John 4:3) He also warned, “Even now are there many antichrists.” (I John 2:18)

Any Big Government/Big Religion system that seeks to bring nations into global unity, enshrine a politically correct theology of universalism, establish Church/State uniformity, and marginalize independent, nonconformist ideology is nothing more than the emergence of another Tower of Babel or Beast-like system! And, dear Christian friend, has it occurred to you that our central government in Washington, D.C., is currently engaged in all of the above?

Both political parties–including most of our national leaders and news media–actively promote globalism; universalism is, without a doubt, the unofficial–but clearly understood–national religion; and anyone who holds nonconformist views (i.e., pro-life, Jesus-only theology, anti-UN, anti-illegal immigration, questioning official government explanations of national tragedies, etc.) is being viciously ridiculed, impugned, and marginalized by virtually everyone in the national press corps and central government. Yes, I am saying it, THE BEAST IS EMERGING IN WASHINGTON, D.C.!

The powers that be in both Big Government and Big Religion want to control both our hearts and our minds. They cannot tolerate dissent. Mind you: they do not care if one is Republican or Democrat, because at the national level, both major parties are marching in the same beastly direction. They do not care if one is conservative or liberal, because the leaders of both camps are, likewise, marching in lockstep to the tune being played by The Beast. They do not care if one is Jewish, Catholic, or Protestant, because at the highest levels, these religions are committing whoredom with The Beast.

If a pastor or preacher is going to be true to his calling today, he must be willing to adopt the philosophy of the late, great Charles Haddon Spurgeon, who said, “The more prominent you are in Christ’s service, the more certain are you to be the butt of calumny [slander]. I have long ago said farewell to my character. I lost it in the earlier days of my ministry by being a little more zealous than suited a slumbering age. And I have never been able to regain it except in the sight of Him who judges all the earth, and in the hearts of those who love me for my work’s sake.”

Any desire for promotion, pleasure, riches, or fame will quickly make one a servant of The Beast. And, I’m afraid, that is exactly what many of today’s pastors and preachers have become.

The fight for independence was as much for the freedom of the heart and mind as it was for the freedom of a State or nation. In fact, one cannot enslave the latter until he first enslaves the former. And this is what is currently at stake: the freedom of the heart and soul to be governed by God and no other! And this battle will never be won–at least not nationally–as long as Christians and pastors are unwilling to recognize the enemy for what it
is: “spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Julie Sabbath Goy Burchill

In her desperate attempt to smear Lauren Booth,Independent writer Julie Burchill, a devout Zionist, proves how deceiving British multiculturalism is.

Indeed the Zionification of this Kingdom has left this country in a disastrous ethical limbo.

“Last year I took the first steps towards converting to Judaism; also last year, I abandoned my attempt”, says Burchill.

But I guess that Burchill didn’t really have to convert — She is obviously far more Jewish than anyone I can think of. Burchill can teach Rabbi Ovadia Yosef what self-love is all about. She can teach Paul Wolfowitz, David Aaronovitch and David Miliband what moral-interventionism stands for. She can give  Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman a crash course in Hasbara.   Burchill can lecture Zionist slander operators on how to spread venom.

But most significantly, she displays an astonishing command of Jewish humour. Burchill is indeed very funny.

Jewish humour is a pretty simple concept : it is based on self-mockery mixed together with the absurd. Thus we have Woody Allen presenting himself as an alpha male Schwarzenegger type, and through self deprecation, Larry David would appear to challenge our tolerance of the ultimate form of Jewish rudeness.

And then we have Julie Burchill presenting herself as a veteran Sex bomb –  funny indeed.

Jewish humour though, is, in practice, a camouflage: through comedy, funny Jews manage to live in peace with their symptoms. But sometimes, even the best of Jewish comedians fail to provide the goods, as Woody Allen and Larry David may have learned.

It is pretty astonishing to witness the amount of poison that pours out of Burchill against Booth, a fellow journalist who recently converted into Islam: it is even more astonishing to find such a level of islamophobia and  personal attack on the pages of a respected British paper. In the past, I certainly saw this kind of vile personal slander on Jews only  blogs.

But I have never seen anything similar on paper, let alone in a British paper.

I guess that the Zionification of Britain is beginning to take a heavy toll on our cultural and public life.

Would Booth have to go through such a slanderous campaign  if she had converted into Judaism? I don’t think so. Would anyone in  the British press dare remind us, for instance, that it is actually Judaism that calls on its followers to “pour their wrath on the Goyim?”  No one would remind us that the crimes that are committed on a daily basis  by the Jewish state, are actually implied by certain interpretation of the Old Testament, namely the Zionist interpretation.

British multiculturalism is indeed a funny concept,  it basically means tolerance towards everyone except Muslims.

I would prefer to spare you from reading Burchill’s personal attack on Booth (much of which reminds me of an old Jewish mother’s Passover dinner tantrum) but, I will review some of her argument, because it is apparent that the logic she employs is symptomatic of both Neocons and Zionists in Britain and in America.

“There is one religion which proscribes its followers under threat of death from rejecting it, and that is Islam” says Burchill :  Yet if there was any truth in such a statement, our streets would be soaking with the blood of ex-Muslims. This is obviously not the case.

Whilst we are on the subject of proscription, restriction, revenge and forgiveness in religious precept and religious tradition, I am sure that  Burchill learned in school about Jesus : whilst the man didn’t actually reject Judaism, he did suggest to his fellow Jews to love their neighbours.

That was enough  to nail him to the cross. I guess that Burchill doesn’t know   that the word Yeshu- Jesus in Hebrew-is the abbreviation  for the Hebrew phrase “may his name and memory be blotted out”. Seemingly, Rabbinical Jews are yet to forgive Jesus.

But maybe we should leave Jesus’ crucifixion aside. Many contemporary Jews rightly argue that they have nothing to do with this crime. Yet, I do wonder whether Burchill has heard about Israeli PM Yitzchak Rabin, and the Talmudic Rabbinical ruling that led to his assassination. Igal Amir, the young student who took Rabin’s life, had come to believe that Rabin was a ‘din rodef’, meaning Talmudically, a ‘pursuer’ who endangered Jewish lives. Under din rodef, Amir would be justified in ‘removing’ Rabin from being a threat to Jews.

As far as Rabbinical  Judaism is concerned, one doesn’t even have to reject Judaism in order to be murdered.  It is enough that a Rabbi or a great Cohen tags  a Jew as a ‘din rodef’ in order for another Jew to complete the job.

But let us return to Burchill’s ad hominem argument against Lauren Booth – next, she turns her attention to Booth’s work for Press T.V.

“It’s hard to know where to start when describing the sheer ickiness of Booth,” says condescending Burchill. “That she works as a paid stooge for the murderous Iranian regime’s television channel has to come pretty near the top.”

As tragic as it may be, it is actually Britain and the British (rather than Iran and Iranians) who are directly complicit in a colossal criminal war that has lead up to date to  1,421,933 fatalities in Iraq alone.  It is pretty fascinating that ‘nearly converted’ Burchill would denounce the Iranian regime as murderous while it is evident  that Britain was taken to the Iraq  war by a government that was funded by the Zionist lobby, led by no other than fund raiser,  Lord Cashpoint Levy.

In fact, more than ever,  we need Press TV  in the UK, for the Iranian TV channel is the only broadcast in Britain to deliver a full coverage of Israel’s colossal crimes.   In case Burchill has managed to forget, at the eve of  Operation Cast Lead, when the BBC was quick to follow IDF ‘instructions’ and evacuated its reporters from Gaza, it was Press TV that stayed behind and  delivered live footage of the Israeli massacre. It was Press TV rather than BBC, SKY or ITN that broadcasted in real time UNRA shelter shelled with white phosphorous.

We need Press TV, and we need many more Lauren Booths to practise real journalism instead of Zionised comedy. We need Press TV and Lauren Booth exactly because the British press and people like Julie Burchill have so evidently failed.

Burchill is not just a devout Zionist and a Neocon, she is also a sincere feminist. She doesn’t like Islam, and she doesn’t hide it either. She doesn’t approve of regimes that “uphold the punishment of death by stoning for adulteresses”.   For those who fail to remember, it was also so called ‘feminists’ who were the first to campaign against the Taliban  in the mid 1990’s, just to  prepare the ground for the American invasion.  I am almost taken in by Burchill’s caring for Muslim women;  yet, I wonder  how come the ‘women’s right campaigner’ fails  to  show the same care for Palestinian women  who are  often enough bleeding  to deathin  Israeli roadblocks.

When it seems as if Burchill runs out of Necoon slogans, she then takes the gloves off and pulls the chicken out of the boiling soup :  Booth ,according to  Burchill, is so “jaded that she can only get a kick from self-denial.”  But may I point out to Burchill here,  that conversion is actually the exact opposite of ‘self-denial’. It is actually all about the ‘self’ being ‘spiritually awakened’ out of a state of denial, an experience that may be foreign to ‘nearly converted’ Burchill.

However, Burchill’s feeble accusation of ‘self denial’ does ring a bell here; it does sound familiar: It is after all, common amongst Jews and within the Zionist fold to label their dissident voices as being ‘self haters’.

As I mentioned earlier on, Burchill didn’t have to convert: the Jewish philosophy and manners are apparently deeply engraved within her soul. It spills out  in each of her sentences — and it is far from being attractive.

But I guess that at a certain stage Burchill just couldn’t hold it together anymore. She wanted Lauren Booth to simply shut up. She suggested that Booth treats herself “to a full-face and – most essentially – mouth-covering burka”. All of a sudden, Burchill, the liberal impostor, the one who just a few lines before was rallying for freedom of Muslims, gays and women, has revealed her true face: in Burchill’s world, women and homosexuals should be free — but Muslim converts better shut up.

Can anyone explain this discrepancy?  It is no wonder that Neo-conservatism and  moral interventionism are such a disaster.  There is not a single shred of truth, coherence or consistency in them. They are, in fact, simply a pretext for Zionist expansionism.

This is unfortunately the true meaning of the current western brutality. It obviously didn’t take me by complete surprise then, when I found out that Julie Burchill was also a supporter of the war in Iraq.

But, as one would expect, Burchill’s poisonous outbursts are followed by some tender ‘light waves’ of self-love: Israel was named recently as “the eighth happiest country in the world – coming in above Britain and the US”, says the proud Zionist enthusiast.

And I am now more concerned than ever : If Israelis can be so pleased with themselves at a time when their army locks millions of Palestinians in concentration camps with no food or medical supplies, it really says a lot about the Jewish State, the Israelis — and it says a lot about Sabbath Goys like Julie Burchill.

I am afraid that we are dealing here with a morbid psychotic ideological collective.  I wish I knew how to help them — or at least how to save the rest of us.

Will Liberty Continue To Have A Home In America?

Only the most willingly ignorant people (most of whom are educated beyond their intelligence, as my dad used to say) would argue with the fact that the generation who founded this great country believed that God had providentially established and protected what became known as the United States of America. The public sentiments in this regard are irrefutable.

In his first inaugural address, President George Washington said, “No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States.”

In Washington’s Thanksgiving Day Address (1789), he said, “That we then may all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war.”

Thomas Jefferson (author of the Declaration of Independence and America’s 3rd President) said, “God who gave us life gave us liberty,” and, “Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath?” He also said, “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that His justice cannot sleep forever.”

Virtually everyone at the time of America’s founding attributed divine blessing and protection to the establishment of these States United. That fact is undeniable–at least by any honest and objective student of history.

Indeed, Jefferson’s warning is as germane today (perhaps even more so) as it was when he wrote it: “Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath?” Meaning: The God who gave and protected our liberties is the same God who can remove and overthrow them in His wrath and judgment. Some would even argue that this is what God is currently doing: removing His hand of protection from America and turning us over to divine judgment. I must confess that I wonder about this in my own mind.

The signs that America is fast losing her freedoms and is falling into the throes of socialism, agnosticism, humanism–and maybe even fascism–are ubiquitous. It is to the point that even the Constitution and Bill of Rights, which were supposed to protect the rights and liberties of the American people, have been so neglected or abused by our civil magistrates in Washington, D.C., that those foundational documents have, for all intents and purposes, been relegated to museum-status.

Add to the abandonment of constitutional governance the advent of European-style socialism in the US, the collapse of Christian virtue and morality (even by professing Christians), the repudiation of sound money principles, and a preoccupation with globalism, and it is easy to see the handwriting on the wall (to borrow from the Old Testament Book of Daniel).

Nowhere is it written that a free republic is promised perpetuity. In fact, if history is any teacher, it indicates that the propensity of free nations is for them to–after the brave and heroic efforts of their founders–apathetically allow freedom’s gradual (or not so gradual) decline. And that is exactly what this generation, and every generation since “The Greatest Generation,” has done and is doing.

That America seems destined for a fall (how far and how fast is yet to be determined) appears inevitable. Therefore, the real questions seem to me to be, Will liberty continue to have a home in America? And, if so, WHERE will liberty continue to have a home in America?

I think it is safe to say that many Americans today are not only unwilling to fight for their own liberty (and I am not talking about fighting unconstitutional, unprovoked wars in the Middle East), they do not even seem to be able to discern what true liberty is. To many avant-garde Americans, freedom is whatever Uncle Sam (or Big Brother, as he is better known today) determines freedom to be. If one of the 3 branches of the federal government (especially the Supreme Court) determines that a God-given liberty is not a God-given liberty after all, but only a temporary and transient “privilege of the state,” many Americans seem to have no personal knowledge, wisdom, discernment, or fortitude to even remotely resist it. The fact that their Creator, via Natural and Revealed Law, endows them with certain “unalienable” rights and liberties never seems to dawn on them. It’s as if the only god they know is the god of government. Even many pastors and Christians are carried away with this fallacy.

If Daniel Webster was right (and he was) when he said, “God grants liberty only to those who love it and are always ready to guard and defend it,” then liberty’s future is suspect indeed. There is another principle, however, that is equally true: there will always remain a remnant of people who value freedom enough to never surrender it.

During the past two years, I have traveled over 60,000 miles to virtually every crack and corner of this country, and I can tell you without hesitation or equivocation: not every place (or State) understands–or is prepared to fight to defend–freedom. All men may be created equal, but all men are not equally discerning or determined. If I observed anything, I observed the great disparity between people when it comes to their willingness to draw a line in the sand for liberty–especially when that line is being drawn against their own federal government. Oh, there may exist pockets of such people scattered here and there in certain geographical regions, but I’m talking about a concentration of determined citizenry armed and alert to the usurpations of their liberties. There are only a few places where I observed such a spirit. And if you have read my last 3 columns, you know that I have been led to the studied conclusion that the Mountain States region of America’s great Northwest is certainly one of those places, if not the most notable of those places.

Granted, there is a sizeable freedom spirit in many local communities around the country. I have especially found the freedom spirit scattered throughout Texas, Arizona, South Carolina, Missouri, Oklahoma, Vermont, Kentucky, New Hampshire, and eastern Tennessee (and several other places), but not in the concentrated aggregation as in states such as Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, Utah, South Dakota (maybe even North Dakota), and eastern Washington State.

Accordingly, I am absolutely convinced that God is calling a determined remnant of freedom-lovers to the Mountain States. And as most of my readers now know, that is exactly where God has called us–my family and me. (We are in the process of moving to the Flathead Valley [Kalispell area] of Montana.) I am personally convinced that this relocation of patriots to the Mountain States is as inevitable and divinely inspired as was the relocation of the Pilgrims to colonial America.

Not all of America’s Pilgrims were Christians, of course, but most were. And not all of these modern-day Patriot-Pilgrims who answer the western call today will be Christians (but probably most will be). And quite frankly, I would much rather share a foxhole with a patriot-unbeliever who acknowledges the Creator-God, and who accepts the Natural Laws of his Creator, and who is willing to fight and defend these freedom-principles than with these brain-dead, Big-Government centralists who call themselves “Christians” that we seem to be inundated with today.

Granted, not all of America’s patriots will be led to relocate to the Mountain States. And I would never try to presume upon God’s will for another man! In reality, the Lord may lead His freedom-loving children to a variety of locations and to a variety of actions. Others will be led to “stay in Crete” to be the “salt” and “light” where they are. After all, God is much too big to confine to one place or idea.

However, it is abundantly clear to me that each of us who call ourselves patriots (Christian or not) must begin answering these questions for ourselves: Will liberty continue to have a home in America? And, if so, Where will liberty continue to have a home in America? And I suppose the logical follow-up question is, What should I do about it? My family and I have answered that question for ourselves. I therefore urge each reader to also answer that question, because the fate of our posterity likely hangs in the balance.

Striving In Vain…

In an essay on Creationism Dr. R. J. Rushdoony affirmed the necessity of pre-determined order as a pre-requisite to scientific inquiry.  Since logic cannot be applied to the chaos of Darwin’s Evolutionism the theory is dissonant.  Many scientists claim to believe in Darwinism but the millions of years defy the scientific method.  “Science thus wants a universe of law and of causality without God, but it would rather ascribe all the magnificent order to chaos rather than to God, because the scientists involved are fallen men, in rebellion against God and bent on suppressing their knowledge of Him.”

He goes on in his support of creationism to make this rather shocking (but true) statement. “St. James observes, ‘For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all’ (James 2:10).  Similarly, anyone who denies the authority of Scripture at one point has denied it at all points.  If we assert that we can set aside the six-day creation doctrine, we have asserted our supremacy over Scripture.  Our mind and our convenience now have a higher authority than the Bible, so that we have denied its authority totally and asserted our authority instead.”

In an article entitled “A Christian Civil Order: Religion, Republicanism, and the American Founding” Dr. Roger Schultz, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Liberty University, puts forth the prevailing theory of the Christian nature of the Union and the Founders.

Dr. Schultz goes through the usual rendition of the Christian gestures of our Founders. He does allow that Thomas Jefferson did “not address his acceptance of evangelical or doctrinal truths of the Christian faith” but then quotes a Thanksgiving prayer Jefferson made in 1779 when he was Governor of Virginia leaving the impression that Jefferson may have been at least a pseudo-Christian.  He did not mention that President Jefferson hated the Old Testament, did not believe in miracles but was impressed with Jesus as being meek and mild.  He painstakingly cut out the passages from the New Testament that met his approval and constructed his own Bible.  Read Revelation 22:19-21

He then relates that the colonists were diverse in their religious beliefs and had been victims of religious persecution in England.  There is also a reminder of Ben Franklin’s prayer at the Constitutional Convention.

The events Dr. Schultz chronicles are probably all genuine but the tenor of his article tends to lead the reader to a pre-determined conclusion by failing to mention critical evidence that might refute his theory.  I have written several times on this subject.  This link provides an article that contains some of that evidence.  It has additional links at the end.

There is no doubt that Christian principles were evident throughout the early years of our nation.  Almost all of the immigrants were Christians of one variety or another.  Nevertheless, the nation’s leaders had been influenced by the enlightenment and their support of Christianity for the people did not translate into personal belief in the Savior.  It was unfortunate that religious persecution in England resulted in a decision to omit the majority religion of the nation from our founding document.  That serious mistake has and is haunting us.  In the late Eighteenth Century the nation was over 90 percent Christian.  Wisdom would have dictated the acknowledgment of that fact in the Constitution.  I believe that if the First Amendment had stated that the United States was a Christian nation, provided for freedom for diverse Christian religions, forbid congress from establishing a particular religion, and banned all foreign religions it would have better served the nation.  In addition Article Six instead of baring a religious oath should have required a Christian oath in accord with the state constitutions.

The two articles by Dr. Rushdoony and Dr. Schultz are juxtaposed in the current issue of the Chalcedon publication “Faith for All of Life”.  As I read them, one after the other, I was struck with the dichotomy between them.  Dr. Rushdoony’s writings emphasize the exclusivity God requires.  He asserts that the Bible must be approached as the unchanging Word of God and from the perspective of a student, not a judge.  His key understanding that “Every law-system must maintain its existence by hostility to every other law-system and to alien religious foundations, or else it commits suicide” flies in the face of the loose and superficial treatment Dr. Schultz gives our founding.

Our nation has existed for over two hundred years in the afterglow of the sound Christian doctrines that were bequeathed to us by the Reformation.  Now obedience to the Constitution is being proffered by many Christians as a panacea while the enemies of Christ are using the same document to ban the religion these Christians profess.  No nation can expect to maintain the blessings of the One True God while supporting religious plurality and banning Christian oaths.

I realize, gentle reader, that this is not a popular subject.  It has been met with two major reactions:  One, silence; Two, invective.   Reformed Christians are not known for their restraint and I have been severely chastised several times.  Patriotism and animosity toward our perceived enemies are emotional issues making a calm assessment difficult.

Venerating our founders and cherishing our Constitution are foundational elements in maintaining pride and a perception of righteousness. Patriotism and pride go hand in hand.  Unfortunately, the Bible denounces pride which goes before a fall.  Our nation is on the precipice.  We need to see ourselves as God and others see us and repent.

In “Morning Studies” Angela Wittman sent me an article by A. W. Pink which told of the defeat of Israel by the Philistines as recorded in the Fourth Chapter of First Samuel.  Following their defeat Israel fetched the Ark of the Covenant from Shiloh as an instrument of victory.  When they heard of it the Philistines were fearful but because they were fearful they fought harder and again defeated Israel.  Pinks writes: “They were oblivious to the fact that the nation was ripe for judgment, and refused to consider that the defeat which had just been experienced was a call from the Lord unto humiliation, repentance and reformation. How absurd the expedient suggested. True, wonders had indeed happened in the past when the ark had gone before the people, but it had been by the Divine command the sacred coffer was in the vanguard, and not at the caprice of men. Tokens of the Lord’s power were granted at a time when the nation, generally speaking, was walking in obedience to Him, and not when He was being openly defied. Those things made all the difference.”  America is like Israel, we are bringing out our Constitution like Israel brought out the ark.  We have not yet realized that we are under judgment and dependence on the Constitution is part of the problem.

We are losing the battle for America because God has left us.  He cannot bless the arrogance of empire or the attitude that we are the richest, most beautiful, most generous, and most righteous of nations.  He seeks a humility that suffers long, is generous, does not envy, does not boast, and is not puffed up, walks in circumspection, is slow to anger, and delighted to hear the truth.  He cannot bless us when we denigrate a people who worship and obey their god far better than we do – in spite, of the fact they worship a false god.  God cannot bless our belligerence and our bombast.  He seeks a broken and contrite heart that is teachable and ready to repent from our sins present and past.  He seeks “humiliation, repentance, and reformation” which cannot come from a patriotic pride that glosses over or makes excuses for its sins.  We have the order wrong; God must come first.   He created the nations and their inhabitants.

The Christian church is the hub of our dilemma.  We have “asserted our supremacy over Scripture” putting “our minds and our convenience” above the Word of God.  It will do us no good to hate Muslims and denigrate Islam, efforts to elect different politicians will not stop our fall, sending armies to the Middle East will not protect us, guns and bravado will not stop the onslaught, neither Congressman Ron Paul nor his son will make a noticeable wave.  Only God can save America and since He cannot bless the pride of patriotism we will falter till humility and repentance overtake us.

That is the truth, my friends.  It is not a popular truth but God waits for us to hear.

Has Something Gone Awry?

Muslims are constructing a massive mosque at the former site of the World Trade Centers. It is likely the Supreme Court with a new Liberal, possibly prejudiced, member will determine the legality of homosexual marriage. While public support of Christian morality is forbidden by the courts, freedom of speech has been extended to gross coarseness. On CNN Dr. Laura Schlessinger was lectured on morality by that great paragon of righteousness, Larry King, and, after the required grovel, announced she will be giving up her radio show because of overwhelming media condemnation of using the “N” word. Our president is providing support to Muslims. We are killing our babies not to placate the gods, as was often the case in historic societies, but for our own personal convenience.

Our society is awash in beliefs that contradict reason. When the female ovum is fertilized by the male sperm human life is initiated. It is human life at the instant of fertilization. If laws against murder are taken seriously abortion must fall under their dominion. The act of aborting a baby supports the freedom killing idea that the powerful are entitled to exert godly dominion over the weak. When a society legalizes the killing of babies they have legalized a particular kind of murder. The laws condemning murder are weakened and the acceptance of other kinds of murder will result. Massive military murder has been acceptable to American Christians since the birth of the nation. Euthanasia has a foot in the door and god-men are panting to determine who deserves to live and who deserves to die.

For a time, Thomas Paine was famous on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. He wrote the “Rights of Man” which provided popular support for the French Revolution and “Common Sense” which fueled the American Revolution. Though he was talented and famous only five or six people attended his funeral. He had designed bridges, written popular pamphlets, and mid-wifed two revolutions but his disdain for Christianity ruined his reputation. Robert Ingersoll, another rebel, described his departure: “On the 8th of June, 1809, death came – Death, almost his only friend. At his funeral no pomp, no pageantry, no civic procession, no military display. In a carriage, a woman and her son who had lived on the bounty of the dead – on horseback, a Quaker, the humanity of whose heart dominated the creed of his head – and, following on foot, two negroes filled with gratitude – constituted the funeral cortege of Thomas Paine.”

The change in popular perception of Thomas Paine not only mirrors the change in zeal for our Christian Faith but also showcases the tenor of logical behavior. In that era Christians deplored detractors and separated themselves from the enemy; today, they tend to champion detractors and mingle with the enemy.

The media, once a vehement supporter of freedom of speech, now suppresses utterances they have determined to be detrimental to their interests. Their agenda involves erasing the Biblical record of the death of the Savior while supporting fornication, adultery, homosexuality, divorce, factions, foul language, and multiculturalism. They hate Christians and the predominant religion of the nation is regularly denigrated, sequestered, and mocked. Their treatment of the Holocaust has been so effective that naïve, sentimental Christians provide massive support to a religion that hates them and their Savior. Hapless Christians seem to believe that our Christian God has begun to reward evil and is supporting a generation that stubbornly refuses to accept the propitiation of His Son. They disdain the theology of their fathers in the Faith and believe that God has repented from the Diaspora and is now supporting its reversal. That, gentle reader, is confusion!

When human reason becomes the standard for determining behavior the powerful no longer need the ruse of logic. Freedom is proscribed by the whims of the dictators and logic falls at the feet of expediency.

There is no better example of this malignant phenomenon than the Christian Church. As the Age of Reason invaded our society Christian leaders forgot that death is a result of following ways that seem right to a man (Proverbs 14:12). Instead of falling back on the Bible and cleaving to the Wisdom of God they followed human reason. Colleges manipulated the Gospel to attract more students and churches quickly picked up the cue. The Gospel of Jesus Christ became a commodity that could be hawked from the pulpit on Sunday morning and emotionally administered by manipulative evangelists. God’s servants became ad-men who selected the most attractive features of the Gospel and advertised them from the pulpit. It became a humanistic circus. God was forgotten along with obedience and His Kingdom. It was no longer a Faith for all of life but was now an heretical endeavor where the creature decided to believe in God and in return expected gifts and blessings Faith was placed in a preacher sanctioned by educational achievement, by the church, and the state. Instead of the One True God, the Creator of the Universe, the minister was expected to provide the Sunday blessing. The Church became an idol.

Islam will not be defeated by complaining about the Mosque at ground zero or denigrating Shiria law. Though it is a heresy Islam does what Christianity does not do, it provides a faith for all of life. Gary North contends that something cannot be defeated with nothing. Antinomian Christianity cannot defeat Shiria law and if Christians do not quickly understand the necessity of obedience, Islam will overwhelm them.

The Age of Reason has brought us to the point where instead of supporting the Bible and God’s Law, sincere, intelligent Christians are citing obedience to the Constitution as the panacea. They are seeking obedience to the document that supports the Mosque they are condemning. True Christianity cannot exist under secular law. Law forms the religious base of society (Thank you, Dr. Rushdoony). All law is religious. Our cancerous, humanistic laws must be abandoned and replaced with the only just and righteous code, the Law God gave to Moses. Without God’s Law Christians cannot win.

Christianity has fallen so far away from a sound theological base that the mention of Sharia law creates a visceral repulsion. Much of the problem is with Christians who consider God’s Law too cruel and prefer the leniency of human law. Christians deride the Old Testament as the “Hebrew Bible” and condemn God’s Law as “legalism”. Their fight against homosexuality, abortion, and Islam becomes a fight over two sets of opposing opinions. As pagans transform our society by setting us under malicious secular laws, they complain that their opinion is of no account against the evil humanistic legal system. Though some of its statutes are similar to God’s Law, Sharia law is a foreign legal system derived from a heretical religion. It has one redeeming characteristic: since it is supposedly from god it is immutable and immutable law protects people from the anarchy of human opinion which is the malicious foundation of humanistic law.

When Christians choose human law over God’s Law they insult the Creator by taking another bite of the Apple of the knowledge of good and evil. The United States Constitution is a fine document but it was birthed by human beings who were so stained by evil they failed to mention the intrinsic legal dominion of the One True God.

It was the same unchangeable God Who gave the Law to Moses that gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him might be forgiven of sin and have everlasting life. His Law was given with the same gracious love as the sacrifice of His Son. It was given so that those who obeyed might receive the blessings of peace and prosperity. (It is an obedience gospel – not a prosperity gospel!) Belief in Jesus provides forgiveness from sin and everlasting life and obedience to the Law provides peace and prosperity in His creation.

God’s judgment often comes in the form of confusion. What started as the Age of Reason is ending as the Age of Confusion. Politics will not change our nation. Only repentance and obedience can return the nation to rationality.

Unencumbered by immutable standards human reason becomes malignantly insane!
