The Road to Damascus

One cannot help but to witness the biblical implications in the invasion of Iraq and the war parties ultimate desire for more conquest. Paul’s journey on the road to Damascus turned out to have serious implications for himself and for the future of Christianity and the world. The war party is very much intent to make the trip to Damascus which will also have serious implications and repercussions for the United States and humanity.
Once the battle for Iraq comes to a close, sort of speak, the war will never be over as far as the Iraqis are concerned, as long as American and British troops occupy Iraq, they will experience suicide attacks like the one with the two Iraqi women the other day, once the mop up operations are completed for the most part, a serious effort will be made by the Bush administration to create an incident between Washington and Damascus, giving the war mad neocons a perceived legitimacy of a threat resulting in a call for the liberation of Syria.
Before the dust even settles in Iraq, Israel through their cohorts in the Bush administration and media is threatening Syria and Iran with military violence. These threats which seem to be based on fabrications, should we be surprised, such as made by Defense Secretary Donald “boom boom” Rumsfeld, concerning , has been contradicted by the CIA. Then there is the unsubstantiated report by Israeli military intelligence which suspects Saddam Hussein has hidden chemical and biological weapons in neighboring Syria, published in the New York Post article – ISRAEL FEARS SADDAM HID BIO ARMS IN SYRIA. The propagandists are in full swing, and its effects will probably have the same result as it was with Iraq.
Secretary of State Colin Powell’s warning to Syria made in an address to AIPAC, an Israeli lobby group, where he declared that Syria faces a “critical choice”, that choice being, comply with American and Israeli demands or face a violent liberation, is quickly revealing that this war is going to become much more bigger, involving many more nations, sooner rather than later.
Rest assured the governments of both Syria and Iran do know that they are next on the target list of the neocons and in grave danger of being the next victims to naked military aggression by the United States, in Syria’s case, Syrian President Bashar Assad responded to the recent threats by the Bush clan – “We will not wait until we become the next target.” So what can they do? A common defense treaty and alliance between Syria and Iran to begin with, would be a very prudent strategy and development for both those targeted nations.
Pakistan, Lebanon and Egypt would be wise to join such a defensive alliance because they are not far from neocon attention. The United States would be very hard pressed to fight such a war against an alliance of that nature; militarily they would be stretched to the breaking point. With Pakistan as part of such a defensive alliance, it would bring a substantial nuclear component to the equation. Also, Egypt’s military is a modern one, and would prove to be a challenge to Israel and the United States.
The war party has plans and courage to fight these nations one at a time, they need time to build public support through their propaganda machine, and do they have the political will or support to engage in such a war against an alliance of two or more semi-powerful Muslim nations? As recent American wars have indicated, as long as there are few body bags coming home draped, the American people will support such wars; they have been conditioned very well by their government. But, if American casualties become massive, politically, the war party would be in serious trouble here at home.
This war mad reality also brings into question why is Syria and Iran presently sitting on the fence, while the handwriting on the wall suggests that their time is very limited? In the not so new world of preemption, it would be militarily logical and prudent for them to initiate general military hostilities against American forces in Iraq on their terms while American forces are still heavily involved in fighting Iraqis. Such an action would effectively outflank American forces in Iraq. This kind of strategy would undoubtedly bring Israel into the fray which would result in a two front war for Syria, which could explain their reluctance to try to save their skin now. Obviously, Syria and Iran have for now taken a wait and see approach to the fast approaching winds of war. Time will tell how this murderous fiasco plays out, either way; a general war between the United States with Israel on one side, and many Muslim states on the other is quickly shaping up.
As I wrote almost a year ago in “America and Israel and the Wars of the Elites”, this general war developing in the Middle East had two essential ingredients, the Armageddonists found in the Dispensationalists, Bush’s core constituency, and their confluence with their brainy friends found in the neoconservatives in the Bush government, all they needed was an event such as Sept 11, to bring to the forefront a geo-strategic policy particularly reminiscent of the crusades, just as violent, just as bloody, and just as hypocritical.
On to Tehran and Damascus

Or Maybe Pyongyang
The dogs of war have been completely unleashed, the criminality of this war by the United States and British governments is without question, only an immoral and ludicrous soul can see otherwise. George Bush’s war on Iraq has made the Bush government a criminal government that has broken both international laws and American constitutional law. Can we call it a war? Because King George does not have the lawful mandate under constitutional laws to initiate war on his own, the executive branch of government was never given that authority by the founding fathers, for good reason. While it is interesting to note that this illegal war initiated by the United States is under the pretense that Iraq was in breach of a U.N. mandate, therefore ripe for the slaughter, the United States is itself in contradiction to international laws established after World War Two. The invasion of Iraq is no different than the invasion of Poland by German forces in 1939. Both were initiated under the pretense of preemptive self-defense and to liberate an oppressed people.
The visual magnificence of the wars magnitude and the stunning speed of its implementation brought to us by the prostitutes of yellow American journalism in mainstream television, a display in pyrotechnics minus the images of dead innocence, no, you have to go to foreign media to see the more down to earth images of the dead and dying, like a 3D video game minus the commercials, reveals the sorrowful reality that the world and country that we have known is gone. In its place has risen from the ashes of a once glaring republic, a beast, an imperial monstrosity, whose cup is full of corruptness and wickedness that will mutate much of the world into a demonic sphere of fear and violence. The blood lust of the war makers is at a fantastic boil, and with the Iraqis succumbing to the horrific onslaught of “Shock and Awe“, giving little resistance and capitulating at the first opportunity available to them the defense of Baghdad could prove to be the exception – this state of affairs will only serve to embolden the warmongers to stage one invasion after another. The question will soon be where to unleash this capricious animal next.
Will it be Iran or will it be Syria? Or will they have to wait until North Korea is dealt with? With such massive military forces already on the ground in the Middle East it’s doubtful they would be transferred to the Korean peninsula for a showdown with North Korea. That could quickly change considering the increase in Pyongyang’s intransigence and saber rattling in recent days, but for now, the blood is boiling in the veins of the neocons who are the driving force in Washington’s policy of preemption against enemies of Israel, and North Korea will probably have to wait for now. The war party is now emboldened beyond measure, and their sights for the next regime change is probably tuned to Damascus. As I have written before, this war with Iraq has little to do with WMDs or terrorism or Saddam, it is a geo-strategic positioning of American power for the purposes of remaking the Middle East into a disingenuous image of an American controlled democratic plurality.
Behind the geo-strategic strategy of democracy by force is of course the ideology of the Bush clans “war on terrorism” which is essentially that the United States will confront all nations one way or another that harbor and sponsor terrorism towards the state of Israel. Syria is the next obvious target, with a host of terrorist networks operating within Syria and Syrian occupied Lebanon. Terrorist networks such as Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and the Palestinian Liberation Front, which are operating freely within the Syrian sphere of influence, must be dealt with. These are highly belligerent organizations who’s sole purpose is to destroy the state of Israel which the neocons and their puppet masters in the Sharon government want eliminated soon after the mop up operations are completed in Iraq. Look for the neocon subversives within the Bush regime to begin to put pressure on Damascus to begin military actions against these terrorist networks and to demand a complete withdrawal of all Syrian forces from Lebanon. If Syrian President Bashar Assad fails to comply, then according to the terminology of the war dogs – Your Next!
With attention being focused on Syria, it would probably be a good time for the neocons to ferment unrest within Iran in a two pronged strategy, to soften it up for the inevitable confrontation with the ayatollahs. Iran, with American forces in control of Iraq is for all intents and purposes surrounded by United States centurions. By supporting opposition groups and even initiating terrorist attacks within Iran to destabilize that country such as was done in the former Yugoslavia would create the condition for action. Tehran’s response to the potential insurrection would have to be a military one, giving the humanitarians in Washington and their whores in the media the images of an alternate reality of a new Hitler that needs slaying.
The prevailing question is, does the pretender in the White House have the fortitude to stay the neocon course and continue to implement this murderous strategy? If Bush decides to stop with Iraq, which I doubt, the neocons would turn on him and his family like a dog turns on its own vomit. With public opinion around the world putting some pressure to bear on the Tartuffe’s, and here at home the anti-war movement is gathering strength and every day more coordinated, another invasion could prove to be politically unattainable.
It’s also worth noting that the neocons are well positioned for the proverbial kill on the booty, Vice President Dick Cheney’s company, Halliburton, is heavily involved in making blood money in the Middle East, contracts worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars, not to mention Richard Perle’s 100 million dollar greasing, the leading hawk for reducing Israel’s enemies to ashes. Companies such as Halliburton, Betchel Group, Louis Berger Group, and Parson Corp, have the Bush clan’s palms greased slick, profiteers in death and destruction isn’t that the American way.
To War or Not To War

Meanderings of the War Party
As the orders for the dispatch of up to 65,000 more Military personnel to the Gulf region were issued by the contemptible Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld last weekend. The glaring revelation of Rumsfeld’s utter contempt for the men and women in the military is stunningly revealed in one of his obnoxious Pentagon press briefings. Yes, when it comes down to it, our elites, especially of the neocon variety, hold the average military grunt in low esteem to be used as cannon fodder for the augmentation of their imperial designs. It is becoming increasingly simplistic to see past the facade of the elites and see the truth of their natures, one that the Apostle Paul described so clearly in 2nd Timothy 3: 1-6.
The question of the proposed liberal draft came up, and Sir Rumsfeld’s explanation that the draft was not needed and that it was not a good idea anyway because it produced low quality warriors not worthy of the Bush war machine, and that draftees really had – “no value, no advantage, really, to the United States armed services.” shows the utter contempt these elites have for all Americans who had answered their governments illegitimate call to authoritative slavery to fight their foreign wars in the past. These no value draftees bravely laid down their lives so that the American aristocracy could increase their portfolios while their blue blooded son’s received scholastic exemptions so they can be in glorious places in the future where they can issue orders for the next generation of simpletons to go abroad and die for their conceited interests and preferred conglomerates. Besides, today’s hired guns of the professional category are much more applicable for their avaricious desires then say, a malcontent draftee.
By mid- to late February the Bush regime will have about 150,000 American forces in place for a possible invasion of Iraq and beyond. There are many in the media and in the government that are saying that the invasion has been put off indefinitely, and at the very least there probably will not be an invasion until late this year, if ever. As former gulf war veteran General Barry McCaffery succinctly stated, all this talk is but: “wisps of smoke in a jar”. By the end of next month the military reality will take over the political one. Massive deployments such as the one underway create an energy of their own, and simply is not a multi-billion dollar bluff so that the evil incarnate Saddam can give up his nest egg with so little shots fired.
The battle for Iraq is projected to be both fleeting and atrocious. Baghdad will be the strategic point of contention where according to military analysts, airborne drops on Baghdad in conjunction with tank forces from Kuwait and Qatar will encircle the city for a destructive siege. Speed is essential for the contemplated modern day blitzkrieg to succeed, in a strategy that would make Guderian and Rommel tingle with delight and anticipation. The desert fox like a phoenix has risen to see another day.
The avatars of war and plunder such as Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz and
Condoleezza Rice, will not be held back by President Bush taking Powell’s lethargic road to United Nations communist intrigue and deception. It is clear the war party has no intention of accepting Iraqi claims that it is complying with November’s UN Security Council resolution to give up its WMD’s. The implementation of a new strategy by the war party called the Kosovo option will easily be put into place, which simply is; the United States once again will launch military strikes without U.N. backing based entirely on propaganda and misinformation. If one or more members of the Security Council lift’s up a diplomatic fit then that is just too bad, and if our so called allies around the world do not like it, well, what are they going to do about it? The financial cost for this aggression will be offset by the potential booty of Iraqi assets, simply stated, don’t worry about the financial cost to Americans, the Iraqi’s will pay for it in mammon and blood. Do not feel bad for the Iraqi’s; they are just a bunch of rag heads which our so called friends the Israelis don’t like anyhow. Besides, our elites can run their lives better than they can, at least they will be educated in the virtues of civilized western behavior.
Mean while the other source of a potential side tracking of the much anticipated invasion is the nuclear card brilliantly played by the impertinent Made in China – North Koreans. One must appreciate the seriousness of North Korean insolence and nuclear brinkmanship when we come to understand that Pyongyang is seriously involved in the proliferation of missile and nuclear technology to Middle Eastern countries such as Egypt, Libya, Syria and most significantly Iran. North Korea is heavily involved in the Libyan al Kufra nuclear center where the Bush regime can find most of the Iraqi nuclear scientists if they were truly interested in how advanced Saddam’s nuclear WMDs are. It is no small matter that Americans are beginning to see that the Bush government has failed and cannot intelligently and realistically explain to the American people why Iraq poses a greater threat to the elites “war on evil” than North Korea. The bombastic Donald Rumsfeld responding to Pyongyang’s reactivating the Yongbyon reactor antagonistically bellowed that his professional military can The question must be asked what would be the point to such a conflagration.
One should take a good look at the meanderings of the likes of Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz, in the end, neocons are about cowardice and bullying people that do not have the ability to defend themselves. Case in point, this just released by the White House: “ Jeanie Mamo, White House spokeswoman, said on Saturday. I see some type of pay off headed towards Pyongyang by the Bush administration in the form of aid, one that would make Clinton proud.
As I write this column, and is picking up steam. One must get past the aversion of the Hollywood types that were present in American antiwar demonstrations, by proxy they are doing what all patriots should be doing, protesting a constitutionally illegitimate and illegal war. Let the nationalists rant all they want, the pressure is on and we must keep it up. Speaking of nationalists, there were also a few hundred neocon counter-protestors from the mainstream leftist website hypocritically called Free Republic. As one of their conditioned sheeple espoused “I don’t like war, but it’s necessary,” one should have asked the same individual this question, why is it necessary? I’m sure the limited response would have been essentially “because”.
Diplomatic Coup By North Korea

Come On Baby! Give Me Your Best Shot!
What do you call the condition where the neighborhood bully after years of bulling his favorite victim suddenly is one day confronted by his victim with audacity, arrogance, and new found determination who finally calls his bluff? A shocking – perplexing – conundrum? This is sort of what has happened to the United States and the Bush government concerning the disquieting admission by North Korea that it is pursuing a surreptitious nuclear program and according to the pencil warrior defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld already has a number of small nuclear devices.
Alright, this is it boys and girls, this is where we once again will clearly see the fraudulence of American foreign policy and its war with the “axis of evil”. North Korea which is part of that nonsensical axis has just declared that it is a far greater threat to George Bush’s war on evil then terrible old Saddam. This is where all those IF’s in forming a case for regime change in Baghdad come to haunt the war party and expose their intellectual and moral bankruptcy concerning the threat posed to American national security by a future “weapons of mass destruction” in the hands of evil Saddam. This is also where facts and truth may very well be in contradiction, as we already know, neocons deal in facts and the facts are that North Korea has said that it has “weapons of mass destruction”. Now the truth may be that Pyongyang really does not have nukes, and this revelation is part of some diplomatic mind game and a very brilliant bluff, but, that does not matter really, all that matters now is that in the world of neocon liberal pseudo reality, the facts are that Pyongyang say’s it has “weapons of mass destruction”.
If one likes to be entertained by ironies this one is magnificent. On a dubious evil scale how would Saddam’s Iraq compare with Kim Jong II North Korea? Saddam is a dictator and has gassed his own people, killing a couple of thousand; the dictators of North Korea the deceased Kim Jong I and present dictator Kim Jong II have starved their population as a form of population control which has killed in the hundreds of thousands. Saddam has behaved since he was tricked by George Bush the First into a war and consistently declares that Iraq is not perusing “weapons of mass destruction”. North Korea continues to infiltrate military personnel into South Korea and now openly flaunts its clandestine nuclear program and declares that it has in its possession “more powerful things”. Iraq has missile technology that can hit Tel Aviv with no weapons of mass destruction to occupy them, and does not sell the missile technology to other rouge nations. On the other hand, North Korea with its Taepo Dong-1 missle which can easily reach Tokyo and is working on the Taepo Dong-2. A two-stage Taepo Dong-2 could deliver a several-hundred kilogram payload to Hawaii, and a lighter payload to the western half of the United States. A three-stage Taepo Dong-2 could deliver a several-hundred kilogram payload anywhere in the United States. Talk about ironic conundrums.
If the neo-policy of preemption is not arbitrary and random, then North Korea is much more a threat to the war party’s war on evil then Iraq. The declared policy of “pre-emptive strikes” clearly demands that the United States deal with North Korea first, swiftly, and without delay, but, do not forget that we live in the world of factual neocon reality where the obvious is meaningless and the alternate reality is the real and serious one. Iraq is the greater threat because it is weak and does not pose a significant military threat, so must be dealt with as soon as possible. The truth is that North Korea is not a threat to Israel and Iraq is. So the declared defiance and threat by North Korea will be played down and put on the backburner, diplomacy will have to be attempted and made to work because this weakling just happened to have found a big stick. Watch for the double speak by the Bush government to take on full steam this week. In the coming weeks we will see that there is a double standard here by the war party, and that the lives of Israelis are more important to the Bush government then Americans or even Japanese or Koreans for that matter.
Don’t you sometimes wish George Washington was around to put an end to all this garbage? Well, at least his warnings are still around for which Americans should take heed.
“Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence,… the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake; since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of Republican Government. But the jealousy to be useful must be impartial; else it becomes the instrument of the very influence to be avoided … Excessive partiality for one foreign nation and excessive dislike for another, cause those whom they actuate to see danger only on one side… Real Patriots, who may resist the intrigues of the favorite, are liable to become suspected and odious; while its tools and dupes usurp the applause and confidence of the people, to surrender their interests.” George Washington
The Bush government is going after the one that is down and the weakest rather than the more serious threat like North Korea or even Iran which has a nuclear program and missiles from who else North Korea. I have not seen this kind of courage since David slew Goliath (sarcasm). So, the war party have found themselves in a bit of a quandary, on the military front, if the policy of “pre-emptive strikes” is a real one, then the government will need to turn a good portion of the nation’s economic structure on a war footing and introduce the draft so it can muster up its military output to fight what the military dreads the most – a two front or two theatre war. But, if it is nothing more then hollow rhetoric and the meanderings of a bully, then the war party will have to back down on its policy of preemption unless the government wants to risk an open revolt within the military.
On the diplomatic front, the war party will have to do a bit of double talk to try to explain to the world and to Americans that there isn’t a double standard here between Iraq and North Korea. A good indication of the attitude the Bush government will take concerning North Korea and Iraq, is revealed, when we come to understand that the war party sat on the information about North Korean insolence until the congressional vote for the illegal authorization to remove Saddam was voted on and passed.
Spokesman Scott McClellan said that the Bush administration sees the North Korean threat differently then the one posed by Iraq. He described Saddam as a “homicidal dictator who is addicted to weapons of mass destruction”. Well, if he is, then he must be suffering from intense withdrawals because he is having great difficulty acquiring his fix. Meanwhile the homicidal dictator in Pyongyang who love’s to imitate Stalin is not suffering from withdrawal and is telling the United States and the world that it is standing up and in the face of the neocons, who do you think will blink first?
Wars and Rumors of Wars

A Brave Old World
Many had hoped as humanity left the millennium into the dawning of the new that somehow things would be different in the world. The world had just finished the most lethal and brutal century of warfare that mankind had ever experienced. Our enlightened elites told us that modern technology, the new economy of the information age, and the wonderful reality of globalism would bring prosperity to most, bring the global village closer together, create a common bond, break down the walls of diversity to establish peaceful co-existence between nations, a collective utopian paradise run by the few for the many.
After all, that is what all the humanitarian wars of the nineties were all about. Of course there was never any veracity in this destructive and deceptive philosophy, it was always about the prosperity of the few at the expense of the many. Waging international war was and is for the elites, always about accumulating more power for themselves, independent of the people, than it was ever about humanitarian compassion or self-defense.
The American left, i.e. – neoconservatives, socialists, liberal globalists, represent the real danger to the American way of life and to international order more than the present day Hitler (Saddam) could ever prove to be. Our constitutional liberties which was designed to give the average American enough freedom to, when mobilized, act as a restraint to the arbitrary power of the state, is being systematically subverted by the Bush government in its mythical pursuit for security. The clique in Washington is not affected by any legal constitutional restraints and is not only threatening foreign nations with “You are either with us or with the terrorists” but, in addition, is most significantly designed for domestic consumption.
President Bush’s speech to the United Nations clearly represents the virtual image of a change in international rules and conduct between sovereign nations. Bush’s speech clarifies that we live in a brave old world of power politics where military power is used to establish government policy and to coerce other nations. In other words, the more things seem to change the more they really remain the same. We heard from President Bush the same old predictable mantra of freedom, peace, human rights, western justice, and women’s rights for a liberated post Saddam Iraq. On the face of it all it sounds exquisite and so democratic. The problem with this play in compassionate conservatism is that it is deluded and disingenuous where truth contradicts its very essence and authenticity. It is the same nonsensical reasoning that we heard from the humanitarian warriors of the Clinton regime when they decided to create, arm and release Muslim terrorists in Kosovo and later criminally bomb the Christian Serbs for having the audacity to defend themselves. The fabricated and elevated accusations by the elites concerning genocide and ethnic cleansing by the Serbs later the Macedonians served its purpose to induce media frenzy and create an alternate reality for a compassionate justification of an illegitimate and aggressive war. The same demonization of Saddam by the oligarch is directly related to the lack of truthful evidence and legal encumbrance in creating a legitimate case for war.
Let us look at some of what President Bush said in his address to the United Nations. We read – “the people of Iraq can shake off their captivity. They can one day join a democratic Afghanistan and a democratic Palestine, inspiring reforms throughout the Muslim world. These nations can show by their example that honest government, and respect for women, and the great Islamic tradition of learning can triumph in the Middle East and beyond.”
So, America is in the Middle East to establish democracy for Afghanistan, Iraq, and a future Palestine. I wonder what the Israelis think about a future Palestinian state most likely is that they very well know this will never happen. The Muslim world is going to have to shape up and stop being so Muslim, and introduce western morality and some apple pie of course. Do you think Bush is really sincere about honest government? By the way, President Bush never mentioned Osama bin Laden once, wasn’t he the one who attacked America and continues to threaten more of the same. I guess he’s yesterday’s monster.
President Bush also said that – “Twelve years ago, Iraq invaded Kuwait without provocation. And the regime’s forces were poised to continue their march to seize other countries and their resources.”
Bush was referring to “continue their march” to Saudi Arabia which was the pretext used by President Bush elder for aggressive war a decade ago. It was a blatant lie then as it is now, in this instance like father like son. Bush’s assertion that Iraq invaded Kuwait without provocation is an interesting one. Kuwait’s slant drilling and thievery of fourteen billion dollars of oil probably had nothing to do with irritating a nut like Saddam. Besides, at the time good old evil Hussein was still a valuable ally to the United States and received a green light for invasion of Kuwait by then American ambassador for Iraq, the inconspicuous April Glaspie. Unfortunately for Saddam, Iraq, and Kuwait it was a nasty little set up.
The United States is the last remaining super power which is the politically correct way of saying the last remaining empire. The neo-imperial policy of “preemptive strike” by the Bush regime is nothing less than naked aggression based on ostentatious moralism and insubstantial intelligence. This sort of international bravado can only succeed when there is no opposing military entity to challenge this reckless escapade. Indeed, since there is no balancing force in the world at this time the invasion of Iraq and the subsequent invasions after Iraq will happen sooner than later. It will be only a matter of time when other nations will take the American example and start preempting all over the place. This world will see many more wars in the near future, and America thanks to our elites will be entangled in most of them and the direct cause of many of them.
The poignant reality in this Wilsonian attitude towards foreign policy is that hardly any of it has any real vital interests to protect for the nation. The war party in Washington has deliberately confused American interests with those of Israel’s and the continued war between Iraq and American oil elites is invariably about ending terrorism against Israel rather than the United States. The frenzy of government and media propaganda will substantially increase as we get closer to the next phase in the war with Iraq. The governments of Britain, United States and Israel will try to link Iraq and al-Qaeda no matter how outrageous the lie, manipulation and the lack of accurate evidence. Iraq would be wasting time by allowing U.N. inspection teams back into the country because it would not avert war which the war party desperately wants in their incessant lust for blood. The war party wants regime change in Iraq no matter what and there is nothing that will stop them not even common sense and the truth. The United Nations will prove to be just another American elitist play thing, and succumb to American pressure and set up Iraq for U.N. approval for military action against Saddam. Even the Saudis will now fall into line and allow American forces to strike Iraq from Saudi territory under a contrived U.N. mandate.
On the Tuesday evening before His crucifixion, Jesus, on the Mount of Olives, in what is known as the Olivet Discourse, foretold the events that we are witnessing today. The key is Israel and its existence, all else will follow – “Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age”? Jesus answered them, “Beware that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name saying, “I am the Messiah!” and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not alarmed; for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places: all this is but the beginning of the birth pangs.” Matthew 24: 3-8.

War For The Sake Of War
Nothing much has changed in human behavior over the last few millenniums, especially as it relates to power politics. Our politicians and academics of today are no different than in the time of the Greeks or the Romans or even more recently the time of Mark Twain. So I will begin and end this article with two quotes from one of my favorite writers, the brilliant and astute – Mark Twain.
From The Mysterious Stranger – “Next the statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception.”
In war and in the preparation of war, the first casualty is the truth. This is the case that we are witnessing today concerning the Bush governments drive towards an invasion of Iraq. This pious clique that is now in Washington have uncovered themselves for what they justly are: a genocidal criminal element of pious duplicity of the first order. We all know about the Bush governments “axis of evil” i.e. – Iraq, Iran, North Korea, add Saudi Arabia and Syria. There is another “axis of evil” at play here, one with the characteristics of deception, mass murder, avarice and hypocrisy.
This last week we have heard from many in the Bush administration and by the British government of the imminent threat posed by Iraq. Prime Minister Tony Blair, with much Balkan blood of his own, said that it was “time to choose whether Saddam is a monster or not. People have chosen he is.” Does any one remember what John Quincy Adams said about America going abroad in search for monsters to slay? Don’t you just love the British government though? When was the last time the British gave up on the chance to go abroad, to kill and plunder an impoverished defenseless nation? Both the American and British governments failed to establish a casus belli for aggressive conquest. We heard all week about “weapons of mass destruction” (WMDs) and how close Saddam is to acquiring them. None of it has much veracity in it, and it certainly revealed the war party’s brilliance in the art of devious manipulation of thought.
This last week we received so called intelligence reports by our government that supposedly justifies naked aggression. These intelligence reports are nothing more than a political tool to manipulate and condition the public to accept and support what the government wants, in this case war with Iraq. President Bush has recently said that he will make his decision to go to war based on “best intelligence”. Quoting from an article by Scott Peterson titled: “In War, Some Facts Less Factual” we read: “On Iraq, analyst’s note that little evidence so far of an imminent threat from Mr. Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction has been made public.”
“Critics, including some former United Nations weapons inspectors in Iraq, say no such evidence exists. Mr. Bush says he will make his decision to go to war based on the “best” intelligence.”
“You have to wonder about the quality of that intelligence,” says Mr. Hamilton at Woodrow Wilson.” This administration is capable of any lie … in order to advance its war goal in Iraq,” says a US government source in Washington with some two decades of experience in intelligence, who would not be further identified. “It is one of the reasons it doesn’t want to have UN weapons inspectors go back in, because they might actually show that the probability of Iraq having [threatening illicit weapons] is much lower than they want us to believe.”
The Bush government wants to present a case for regime change based on erroneous intelligence about “weapons of mass destruction.” Let’s look at WMDs for a moment and our government’s incessant hypocrisy concerning this issue. The Observer article titled: When U.S. Turned A Blind Eye To Poison Gas clearly reveals American culpability in Iraq’s acquiring and using WMDs in Saddam’s war with Iran and on his own citizens. John Pilger’s article: Inside Iraq is a must read. Does an economic embargo that has killed more than a million Iraqi citizens, mostly very young children , constitute as a WMD? The death toll according to the World Health Organization (WHO) is 5000 children a month . But that’s ok right? Our gnomes within the gates of power are the quintessence of righteousness that prey and show their piety out in the open for every one to see, they are not evil. It’s all Saddam’s fault anyway, he’s the evil one.
In Pilger’s article we read: “Scott Ritter, for five years a senior Unscom weapons inspector, agreed. ‘By 1998, the chemical weapons infrastructure had been completely dismantled or destroyed by Unscom or by Iraq in compliance with our mandate,’ he told me. ‘The biological weapons program was gone, all the major facilities eliminated. The nuclear weapons program was completely eliminated. The long-range ballistic missile program was completely eliminated. If I had to quantify Iraq’s threat, I would say [it is] zero.’
“American researchers John Mueller and Karl Mueller conclude that economic sanctions have probably already taken the lives of more people in Iraq than have been killed by all weapons of mass destruction in history.”
Two weeks ago the same Scott Ritter in Senate hearings reiterated that Iraq was stripped of its WMDs and the capacity to make them. He also stated that a “handful of ideologues have hijacked national security policy of the United States for their own ambitions”. Any so called intelligence presented to us by the Bush and Blair governments is based entirely on speculation and conjecture separated from the truth.
Like the Serbs in the Balkans the Iraqis are increasingly dying of cancer. Pilger quoting: “Dr Al-Ali is a cancer specialist at the city hospital and a member of Britain’s Royal College of Physicians” – ‘Before the Gulf war, we had only three or four deaths in a month from cancer,’ he said. ‘Now its 30 to 35 patients dying every month, and that’s just in my department. That is 12 times the increase in cancer mortality. Our studies indicate 40% to 48% of the population in this area will get cancer — in five years’ time to begin with, then long afterwards. That’s almost half the population. Most of my own family now have cancer, and we have no history of the disease.”
“We don’t know the precise source of the contamination, because we are not allowed to get the equipment to conduct a proper survey, or even test the excess level of radiation in our bodies. We strongly suspect depleted uranium, which was used by the Americans and British in the Gulf war right across the southern battlefields.”
Depleted uranium, another “weapons of mass destruction” used by our illustrious government? I wonder how the ordinary Iraqi who has had to live through the genocidal economic sanctions enforced by the United States and Britain would feel about being so called liberated by those same nations that are presently killing them on a daily bases. It is very motivating and good to see that some voices of opposition to this homicidal crusade by the neo-cons against Iraq are coming from the military. General Brent Scowcroft and General Anthony Zinni are opposed to the pencil pushing warriors of the war party who have never served in uniform. General Zinni in a speech to the Florida Economic Club blatantly stated – “If you ask me my opinion, Gen. Scowcroft, Gen. Powell, Gen. Schwarzkopf, Gen. Zinni, maybe all see this the same way.”
“It might be interesting to wonder why all the generals see it the same way, and all those that never fired a shot in anger and really hell-bent to go to war see it a different way. That’s usually the way it is in history”. (Crowd laughter.)
Yes, the neo-cons are a piece of work all right, greedy gnomes who have no qualms about conceiving criminal wars to satisfy their need for the remedy of blood. Other peoples blood, usually the blood of innocence, such is the world we live in today. It is also revealing to know that this conquest of Iraq was hatched a few hours after 9/11. CBS News reported that the plans for Iraq attack began on 9/11 . “CBS News has learned that barely five hours after American Airlines Flight 77 plowed into the Pentagon, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld was telling his aides to come up with plans for striking Iraq even though there was no evidence linking Saddam Hussein to the attacks.”
“With the intelligence all pointing toward bin Laden, Rumsfeld ordered the military to begin working on strike plans. And at 2:40 p.m., the notes quote Rumsfeld as saying he wanted “best info fast. Judge whether good enough hit S.H.” – meaning Saddam Hussein – “at same time. Not only UBL” the initials used to identify Osama bin Laden.”
“Now, nearly one year later, there is still very little evidence Iraq was involved in the Sept. 11 attacks. But if these notes are accurate, that didn’t matter to Rumsfeld.”
“Go massive,” the notes quote him as saying. “Sweep it all up. Things related and not.”
Truthful evidence is not required for these paper warriors and their cohorts in the media, all they need is speculation and some fallacious satellite photos to justify an aggression that is illegal and unconstitutional. These elites are criminals really, and should be regarded and treated as such. Unfortunately we live in a flux of virtual images where truth is disconnected from reality. There is nothing more dangerous than a government that believes it has a moral imperative and a righteous and God given directive to wage war on evil. Do not believe for one minute they are doing God’s will, these people are working for the services of a greater evil.
Mark Twain saw the same pious hypocrisy by the Tartuffe’s of his time. In his eloquent magnum opus “The War Prayer” we read: “ “O Lord our Father, our young patriots, idols of our hearts, go forth to battle – be Thou near them! With them, in spirit, we also go forth from the sweet peace of our beloved firesides to smite the foe. O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with their little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.”

Pious Hypocrisy at Its Best
Must we suffer the constant disinformation by the propagandists within the Bush administration? Can’t they just for once play it straight and give us the truth concerning their conquest of Iraq and the Middle East? As we draw closer to the anniversary of the horrible day of September 11th 2001, the government forces of propaganda and mischief are in full swing and are taking no prisoners. Do not put it past the Bush government’s ability to use the tragedy of 9/11 for political gain and as a rallying point for the remedy of blood. They will do it because this plutocracy has a magnificent component of pious hypocrisy to it.
The chorus is in tune and on both sides of the Atlantic. National security adviser Condoleezza Rice is trying to gain British support for the upcoming invasion of Iraq, it seems that the British people are not to savvy about violent aggression against a country that has not attacked Britain let alone the United States. Lets listen to her disingenuous twaddle for a moment, quoting from the BBC: “This is an evil man (Saddam Hussein) who, left to his own devices, will wreak havoc again on his own population, his neighbors and, if he gets weapons of mass destruction and the means to deliver them, on all of us.” “It is a very powerful moral case for regime change“.
Isn’t it interesting though, that usually when some force demonizes another of being evil, it invariably comes from the services of a greater evil. One must ask this question – Despite King George’s clamor for a pre-preemptive strike, where is the “casus belli” here for aggressive war to protect vital American security other than one based entirely on speculation and conjecture? If Saddam gets weapons of mass destruction. If he gets the means to deliver them, I’ll add an if here…If he is stupid enough to launch them against the United States. Iraq does not have the ability to launch missiles at the United States and it has never threatened to do so. The Bush administration has not proven contrary and are presently dabbling in mindless double speak to elevate tensions and condition the masses to accept a contrived war. There is absolutely no compelling case established by King George’s government for aggressive war against Iraq.
Condoleezza Rice’s breathtaking concern for the welfare of the Iraqi people i.e. “will wreak havoc again on his own population” is beyond nauseating. The first time that evil man Saddam used weapons of mass destruction (chemical weapons) on his population there was hardly a whimper from our elites, and the economic strangulation of Iraq that has caused misery and death to the Iraqi people is all for their own benefit right? Saddam is still sitting in his glorious bunker fat and ugly and King George and his government’s hypocrisy is absolutely brilliant in this instance. The hypocrisy goes even further, according to the New York Times article titled – “Officers Say U.S. Aided Iraq in War Despite Use of Gas“, it reads – “A covert American program during the Reagan administration provided Iraq with critical battle planning assistance at a time when American intelligence agencies knew that Iraqi commanders would employ chemical weapons in waging the decisive battles of the Iran-Iraq war, according to senior military officers with direct knowledge of the program. These officers, most of whom agreed to speak on the condition that they not be named, spoke in response to a reporter’s questions about the nature of gas warfare on both sides of the conflict between Iran and Iraq from 1981 to 1988. Iraq’s use of gas in that conflict is repeatedly cited by President Bush and, this week, by his national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice as justification for “regime change” in Iraq”.
It gets even more wretched; last week it was the Saudis that came under war party fire, now it is Iran’s turn. Condoleezza Rice tuned her attention to Iran calling Iran’s leaders “on the side of the terrorists” and that Iran is a place where an unelected few are really crushing the aspirations of their people”. Crushing the aspirations of their people? Our elites just do not like and appreciate sovereign nations that do not behave according to their needs. What does Condoleezza Rice and her cohorts in the war party want here? To go back to the days of the Shah and the CIA trained SAVAK, the secret police of the Shah who ran death squads and torture chambers administered with absolute brutality against their own people all done under the watchful eye of SAVAK’s protectorates in Washington. Is it time for a regime change in Tehran also? They are “on the side of the terrorists.” Which terrorists are they supporting and where is this terror directed? The Bush government has not presented any evidence that shows Iran taking part in terrorism against the United States, BUT, there is plenty of evidence that Iran supports terror against Israel, and here is where we start seeing the true nature and reasoning for hostility towards Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
Let’s look past the obvious oil interests here and the gnomes avarice to subjugate and forcibly acquire the booty. A day after Rice’s drivel and Richard Pearl’s article titled: “Why the West must attack first” which echoes Rice perfectly, a development from Israel. In an article titled: “Israel Urges U.S. to Attack Iraq” it reads: “Israel is urging U.S. officials not to delay a military strike against Iraq’s Saddam Hussein an aide to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said Friday”. Also – “Any postponement of an attack on Iraq at this stage will serve no purpose. “It will only give him (Saddam) more of an opportunity to accelerate his program of weapons of mass destruction.” The dogs of doom are howling more, why does Israel want the United States to launch an aggressive war against Iraq? It most definitely is not out of concern for the United States. Israel unlike the United States has its own interests to protect here and Israel knows fully well that an American invasion of Iraq will most definitely result in Saddam shooting off some scuds against Israel, and when that happens, a massive retaliatory response from Israel which according to the Israeli government could easily be nuclear. One must pose serious questions here – obviously the Israelis know and our malicious elites know that an invasion to remove Saddam from power could very easily escalate to a nuclear conflict so why go ahead with this madness then? Could it be that it is the exact scenario that the King George government and Israel are gunning for? It would certainly establish what Noam Chomsky’s calls the “End Game” regardless of the cost in lives and human suffering as an accurate concept. The depopulation of the region by initiating a war that the gnomes within the gates of power fully expect to go to a phase of “weapons of mass destruction” revealing to us that the only concern they have concerning “weapons of mass destruction” is establishing the conditions in which they feel justified in using them. Using the conflagration in the region as a smoke screen, Israel would certainly be in a position where it could finally deal with the Palestinians by forcibly clearing the territories of undesirable elements.
Fortunately there are still some rational heads out there. While Condoleezza Rice and Richard Pearl were making the case for naked aggression, retired General Brent Scowcroft wrote in the Wall Street Journal: “Israel would have to expect to be the first casualty, as in 1991 when Saddam sought to bring Israel into the Gulf conflict. This time, using weapons of mass destruction, he might succeed, provoking Israel to respond, perhaps with nuclear weapons, unleashing an Armageddon in the Middle East”. Unleashing an Armageddon in the Middle East! Obviously Scowcroft sees the dangers concerning the war party’s ambitions in the Middle East, but he might not realize or he is not saying, that the war party intends to create that scenario he described in their holy crusade against the infidels. King George has surrounded himself with a host of Tartuffe’s, this is not surprising in itself, people tend to want to attract people with similar interests and ambitions proving the axiom that you are like the friends you keep.
Virtue cannot separate itself from reality without becoming a principle of evil – Albert Camus
Who are these men and women of lust greed and glory whose virtues are eye for an eye and the blood for the remedy of blood? They are the plutocracy of Tartuffe’s who hold the principalities of power in Washington. Their unequivocal hypocrisy is incessant and lethal and they will bring a swift and pernicious end to this nation as we know it.
Saudis our Enemy? Invasion of Iraq?

What Is This Really About
The war drums are beating fast and furious in Washington this past week. In The Observer we read – “President George W. Bush will announce within weeks that he intends to depose Iraq’s ruler, Saddam Hussein, by force, setting the stage for a war in the Gulf this winter. Amid signs of active preparations for a war within six months, senior officials on both sides of the Atlantic have said that war against Iraq is now inevitable.”
On to The Guardian – “General Tommy Franks, who would lead a US military action in Iraq, has presented President George Bush with refinements of a plan for attack. Gen Franks, who led the US military operation in Afghanistan, presented the latest version and its potential consequences to the White House on Monday.”
It is clear that the Bush government will get this country into a war with Iraq within the next few months. What is becoming even more palpable is that this war will not be only against Iraq, after our elites have vanquished that beleaguered nation, they will set their sites on Saudi Arabia. The dogs of war are starting to reveal themselves for what they truly are, and expose their true motives for their impious desire of aggressive conquest in the Middle East.
The Bush administrations contrived war with Iraq is NOT about its erroneous war on terror and that evil man sitting in a bunker in Baghdad. It’s about our elites lust for power and more than seventy oilfields sitting in Iraq with only a handful that have been in production. It is about intentionally inflaming the entire region so that moderate Moslem governments start to fall like dominoes requiring American military assistance to bring order to the effected countries. It’s about subjugating the Middle East like Central Asia and the Balkans and eliminating Israel’s most cantankerous enemies.
A most revealing article in the Washington Post by Thomas Ricks titled – “Briefing Depicted Saudis as Enemies” clearly shows the true intention of murderous avarice by the gnomes within the gates of power. The interesting occurrence here is that the Rand Corp briefing to a top Pentagon advisory board has a lot of truth to it and that the neocons prove to be exceptionally proficient in this case at turning the truth on its head.
In the Thomas Ricks article we read – “A briefing given last month to a top Pentagon advisory board described Saudi Arabia as an enemy of the United States, and recommended that U.S. officials give it an ultimatum to stop backing terrorism or face seizure of its oil fields and its financial assets invested in the United States”
“Saudi Arabia supports our enemies and attacks our allies, said the briefing prepared by Laurent Murawiec, a Rand Corp. analyst. A talking point attached to the last of 24 briefing slides went even further, describing Saudi Arabia as “the kernel of evil, the prime mover, the most dangerous opponent” in the Middle East.”
“The decision to bring the anti-Saudi analysis before the Defense Policy Board also appears tied to the growing debate over whether to launch a U.S. military attack to remove Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq.”
Treachery and betrayal is nothing new to the Saudis and especially to our elites. Why now? Why the propaganda and the conditioning of the masses to accept this thesis of Saudi Arabia as a potential adversary? Well, to use an old vernacular the “proof is in the pudding” First and foremost one must come to understand that the neocons and their confederates in the Christian right are more concerned with Israel’s security than America’s. So when the war party talks about “the kernel of evil”, “attacks our allies”, “backing terrorism” and “the most dangerous opponent” they are not describing America’s enemy but rather Israel’s. Secondly, the deceptive war on terror has given the elites an incredible cover and opportunity to plunder the entire Middle East of its oil wealth, ergo – “recommended that U.S. officials give it an ultimatum to stop backing terrorism or face seizure of its oil fields.”
Unfortunately the perversion goes even further, according to Noam Chomsky and S.R Shearer the United States is maneuvering for an “End Game” to gain control of the Gulf and Central Asian energy reserves “regardless of the cost”. Shearer goes even further in his startling article titled “The Coming War In Iraq” in it he describes – “all the talk by opponents of a U.S. attack on Iraq that such an attack would destabilize the Middle East, and lead to the further radicalization (and, ipso facto, the Izlamization) of the populations there, falls on deaf ears. Why? – because that’s what the U.S. elites are aiming at: it would give them an excuse to permanently DEPOPULATE the area, especially if American policies in the Middle East radicalize the people there to such an extent that they are “revved up” to the point that they brashly attack Israel. Such an attack would undoubtedly lead to a MASSIVE retaliatory response from Israel which – if it is a nuclear response – would serve “nicely” to depopulate the area, exactly what the U.S. elites want.
The war party is counting on their old friend Saddam to do the crazy and desperate and fire off a few scuds at Israel that contain chemical or biological weaponry so that Israel has a justifiable excuse to go nuclear. In a recent Times Online article titled – “Conflict could soon be nuclear” in the article it describes an assessment by Anthony Cordesman, with the Washington based Centre for Strategic and International Studies, who warned Congress that the Bush government’s invasion of Iraq could escalate into a nuclear conflict. Precisely achieving what the war party desires, an all out war with most of the Moslem nations in the region and the securing of its oil wealth. Saudi Arabia is now on the Tartuffe’s target list with more to follow, and the affectation that the struggle is against “terrorism” and “evil” unrelated to Islam is revealed for what it is, and that an all out “Holy War” will do just nicely.
The self-serving and the atrocious Tartuffe’s quest for war with evil, are revealing to those that are watching an even greater evil whose perversions and avarice have not been equaled since the advent and rule of the Caesars.
King George and His Merry Men

Will War With Saddam Hussein Again
According to the New York Times, America’s military has drawn up plans for an invasion of Iraq with up to 250,000 troops, with Special Forces incursions against possible missile sites deep inside Iraq. Though these missiles have no capability to hit American territory, they are perceived as a threat by our elites. A threat to Israel that is, which obviously becomes a threat to the United States according to them. This upcoming war with Iraq will be an unnecessary war based exclusively on disinformation and propaganda, which will call into question its constitutional legality and the possible criminality by the initiators of the war – King George and his merry men.
Criminality? Lets make one thing clear here, the planning of offensive first strike aggression against sovereign nations is a war crime. It does not matter if it is the government of the United States that initiates this aggression or any other nation for that matter, it still constitutes a war crime. And the fallacious argument concerning the right to self-defense does not hold much water in this case. This narrowly constructed claim to self-defense by the Bush administration does not meet the actual requirement for self-defense in war. We are at war right? It’s a new kind of war right? Or is it?
As far as I know, there has been no international aggression by Iraqi forces. No Iraqi military operations outside its national borders. And there is absolutely no evidence that the Iraqis were involved in 9/11. So what does the United States have to defend itself against here? And this twaddle about the danger of Saddam acquiring “weapons of mass destruction” is with out a doubt dim-witted. King George and his war party are compelled to present the relative perception of the threat posed by Iraq. In order to achieve public support our government will hide the truth about why we must attack a country that has not attacked the United States.
The war party is already on the march as far as the propaganda is concerned. Vice-president Dick Cheney stated: “In the case of Saddam Hussein, we have a dictator who is clearly pursuing these deadly capabilities. Saddam has also shown that he’s willing to use weapons of mass destruction”. He continues a regime that hates America and everything we stand for must never be permitted to threaten America with weapons of mass destruction”.
It really does not matter who is president anymore. We have heard this disingenuous clap trap before from the Clinton regime and before Clinton we heard the same from King George the first. So, the Iraqis hate us for our illustrious virtues? Nothing to do with our elites economic strangulation of Iraq which has resulted in up to one million Iraqi dead, mostly children and the poor. No, that would be too sensible wouldn’t it. Oh, ok, it’s not our elites fault it’s all Saddam’s fault. No culpability here for the United States, after all, our elites are righteous angels that can do no wrong. They really hate us for baseball and apple pie, and I almost forgot they also hate us because we are a glaring democracy. Never mind that this democracy called the United States acts like its run by a revolving door of dictators that go around attacking nations in stealthy surprise attacks without prior notice or any declaration of war first. Under the rubric of “war on terrorism” any foreign government that opposes American foreign policy risks being smart bombed. Doesn’t it make you feel proud?
As in the case of Yugoslavia, Sudan and scores of others, King George and his merry men are gearing up to attack a nation that has not attacked the United States and he will do it without a declaration of war. Could it be that this war will in truth be about U.S. dominance over this oil rich region surrounding Russia and to get rid of one of Israel’s staunches enemies? For decades our elites strategy was to prop up dictators like Saddam and to prevent the emergence of nationalist movements in Middle Eastern Arab countries. Could that be another reason that those people hate the United States? Could it be that they hate the country that propped up monarchies and dictatorships through out the region that kept the relative masses in a perpetual state of poverty? No, that would be too obvious wouldn’t it? Yup, I forgot that usually the populace that are under the yoke of foreign domination, be it economic or military, is something they should appreciate and look fondly upon, especially when the dominating power is the United States. If that’s the case, then why did America fight a revolutionary war against imperialism? Those rebels got it all wrong and must have been under the influence of a foreign substance; they should have appreciated more the intricacies and finer elements of imperialism and global hegemony and stayed home.
Did you here that not so Great Britain will send up to 30,000 troops to help oust Saddam? According to the Telegraph – “Britain is preparing to join America in a full-scale invasion of Iraq early next year”. The more things seem to change the more they really tend to remain the same. The role of military power as a means of coercion and to resolve disputes has not changed. It’s as ancient as man himself and a constant in the human experience. King George and the war party will use the ultimate form of global power – military force, and they will delve further into the recesses of violent aggression that would make even the Caesar’s proud.
So, off to war we go to establish democracy in some far off place. The double speak by our government is in full swing, by the way, a democratic Iraq is counter to American oil interests, its not conducive to imperial business! In the next few months our government will reach new heights in demonizing Iraq in an attempt to condition the public to accept military aggression and smash another impoverished nation. Its all for our safety you know?
America and Israel and the Wars of the Elites
July 8, 2002 by Novakeo · Leave a Comment
Will President Bush’s recent speech concerning his two state solution for the Palestinians and Israel work? Very unlikely, one must ask what are the true motives and implications for such a plan. Will it lead to a direct American intervention or an American led international force in the disputed territories? Some are calling for an American trusteeship of a new Palestinian state based on erroneous and nonsensical American strategic interests to protect. Contrary to the public posturing by Bush, the last thing the Bush government wants at this stage in his “war on terrorism” is peaceful co-existence between Israel and the Palestinians. On the surface it may look through the virtual images of the big screen that peace is the objective, but behind the corridors of elitist power, a much wider general war is required and anticipated. Besides, can there be a true peace between Israel and the Palestinians? A co-existence where mutual respect, dignity, and civility is practiced by both sides? Can the cycle of violence and counter-violence between the two combatants end by the virtue of a political consensus with a peace agreement written down on a piece of paper? The answer to these questions is – NO. Is this endless war in this part of the world truly America’s problem? Should we be involved in this violent insanity in any way? Is there really a strategic interest here to protect for the United States other than increased profits for the globalist conglomerates and their paid politicians? The answer is – NONE.
As we watch daily, the bloody cathartic violence and counter-violence in Israel, the daily acts of unbridled revenge in this unyielding, unending circle of death. Can one see the “handwriting on the wall”? Can one see the inevitability of an upcoming all out war? Don’t kid yourself, there cannot be any peace here until one side is vanquished, utterly crushed and left desolate, an event that can only occur under the conditions of total war. Peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians is an exercise in futility, a timely diversion, a play in virtual reality, because neither side wants peace at this stage in this murderous struggle. The Muslim world does not want peace, Israel does not want peace anymore, and most importantly the United States does not want peace. As far as Israel and the Muslim world are concerned, there is no middle ground to work out some kind of deal for a lasting peaceful co-existence. The Muslims will never be placated and satisfied as long as Israel exists as a nation among nations. As far as the United States is concerned, it has its own greedy interests to defend in the region, and its going to use Israel as an instrument to protect and augment its hegemony there. Many in the mainstream media and in the halls of government predicted that our elites “war on terrorism” would produce a schism between Israel and the United States. That building a coalition among so called friendly Muslim nations would be near to impossible unless the United States took a more direct and impartial approach to the Israeli – Palestinian conflict. That a serious effort should be made by the Bush administration to address the plight of the Palestinians in order for our elites “war on terrorism” to receive support from strategic Muslim nations. In fact, the exact opposite has taken root. Although we have received a fabricated image concerning President Bush’s feeble attempt to reign in Ariel Sharon’s onslaught against the Palestinians. The obvious is quite clear to see, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is doing exactly what Bush wants him to do. Bush’s “war on terrorism” and Sharon’s “war on the Palestinians” has brought about an intersection of interests common to both governments, and the final inevitable conclusion within both institutionalized leaderships concerning fanatical hostile Islam is “total all out war”.
Fanatical hostile Islam! Ah yes, another unfortunate result of American foreign policy. The foreign policy that for example, last year in the Balkans the Macedonian army surrounded a force of Albanian Muslim terrorists (KLA) at Aracinovo. After negotiations with NATO, the Macedonians were persuaded to disengage and allow NATO to escort the terrorists to safety. Why? Because there were American military instructors with the Albanian Muslim terrorists. How about Osama bin Laden and the Taliban? Another product of American foreign policy by our elites that evolved into a grotesque murderous monstrosity. You don’t believe it? One of our illustrious elites named Zbigniew Brzezinski practically admitted to creating and funding militant fanatical Muslim terrorists in Afghanistan to destabilize that region and induce a Russian reaction in an interview he gave to the French magazine Nouvel Observateur quote: According to the official version of history, CIA aid to the Mujahadeen began during 1980, that is to say, after the Soviet army invaded Afghanistan, 24 December 1979. But the reality, secretly guarded until now, is completely otherwise: Indeed, it was July 3, 1979 that President Carter signed the first directive for aid to the opponents of the Soviet regime in Kabul. And that very day, I wrote a note to the president in which I explained to him that In my opinion this aid was going to induce a Soviet military intervention.”
As we have seen, the Mujahadeen turned out predominately to be the Taliban and al-Qaida. In other words, American elites in our government used Islamic fundamentalism in many parts of the world to achieve their goals of augmenting their empire. In Afghanistan the official word was of course the United States was fighting Soviet expansion. Just another facade for the sheeple to consume. The real and primary motivation for American focus in the Middle East and Central Asia, then and now, is to further encircle Russia with American and NATO forces. A secondary motivation, no less important, is oil and gas and its pipelines. Unfortunately for the Taliban who were negotiating for a deal concerning pipelines, they were in bed with bin Laden and al-Qaida which proved to be in the end a deadly relationship. It’s by no accident that our elites installed as interim president of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai, the same Karzai that tried to negotiate an oil and pipeline deal with the Taliban government for the oil conglomerate Unocal. Despite all the profusions by our government about the “war on terrorism” the real deal is strategic encirclement of Russia and oil. One must ask this question? Why focus on this mirage called “the war on terrorism” and its “axis of evil” i.e. Iraq, Iran and North Korea, and not the real fomenters and instigators of terrorism like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Albania, and the United States, unless the war on terrorism was fraudulent to begin with?
Total War – Holy War
As I wrote in “Perpetual War for a Virtual Peace” is that President Bush’s war on terrorism and evil would be a pretext to further American hegemony in the oil rich regions of the world. Within the last year the United States has surrounded Central Asia with military bases, securing more of the world’s oil reserves for the empire. As far as our government and oil elites are concerned we are there to stay – for our own safety of course. Our elites have waged economic warfare against many oil rich Muslim nations for decades now. Hostile Islamic fundamentalism and nationalism of the Nazi variety is the result of this foreign policy. Our elites especially the oil elites have realized that without a substantial military presence in the entire region by the United States, they could see the inevitable end to their domination of the oil reserves there.
Fanatic Muslim fundamentalism is a double edged sword. Its primary focus is the United States, the “Great Satan”, and then it is Israel and the so called liberation of Palestine. Fanatical Islam is spreading like wild fire through out the Muslim world, and our elites are going to pay a heavy economic price if they allow this phenomenon that they created to continue on its course unfettered. Their can be only one possible solution to this danger that the empire is now experiencing, that is “all out war” with a large part of the Muslim world on one side and the United states and Israel on the other. A war where entire cities are destroyed and made desolate not unlike World War II. What we are witnessing in Israel today is a good indication that we are indeed headed down the road to total war. Is this kind of war winnable by the United States and Israel? The answer is YES. Iraq, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, is very good examples of the potential destructive military power the United States can produce and implement. With the addition of the Israeli armed forces which is technically up to par with the United States, what Muslim nation can stop such a military colossus? The answer is absolutely NONE. This total war will be a Holy war as far as the Bush administration is concerned. A holy war against “evil”. A religious attitude towards war and empire building.
“Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction” – Pascal
King George and His Christian Brotherhood
There is no entity within this country that unconditionally supports Israel’s war against the Palestinians like the Christian right and their neocon friends in government. Some within the Christian right not only support King George’s war against “evil” and “terrorism”, like their neocon brethren, they would very much desire it to evolve into a general war with Islam. A “clash of civilizations” if you will, a “holy war” against evil Islam. Ask yourself this question? Why did King George turn this so called “war on terrorism” into a “holy crusade”, a war against “evil” unless King George and his war party realized that an all out war with nations that harbor terrorists – that are not already part of the empire – would prove to be impossible because the American people would not see the vital interest in waging such an unlimited war.
Persuading the American public that an all out war against the enemies of the elites and Israel under the banner of “war on terrorism” is unlikely, but getting general public support for a holy war against the forces of “evil” as defined by the elites is certainly feasible especially when you have leaders in the religious Christian right propagating the same propaganda. Never mind how disingenuous this call for a war against “evil” by King George, the Christian right, and the neocons is. In recent clashes between Christians and Muslims the United States did not support the Christians. The slaughter of Christians in Sudan, Serbia and Bosnia did not raise any concerns from the elites. In fact they were the instigators who let lose fanatical hostile Islam on these Christian communities who proved to be an obstacle to their empire building. How stoic King George and the Christian right proved to be when the cries of the Serbs were heard under the empire’s indiscriminate bombing on behalf of Muslim terrorism in the spring of 1999.
Where was the Christian right when the United States government overthrew more than forty democratically elected governments throughout the world in the last sixty years? Where was the Christian right when the United States government installed brutal dictatorships around the world under the rubric of fighting communism? Where was the Christian right when their friends in government created, trained, funded, fanatical hostile Muslim terrorists in the Middle East, Balkans, Central Asia and let them lose on unsuspecting Christian communities? The Christian right is certainly vocal concerning Muslim violence against Jews in Israel. Why the hypocritical double mindedness?
One needs only to turn on the television set to TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) and watch Hal Lindsay’s one sided reporting – if you can call what he does reporting – concerning the events taking place in the Holy Land. Lindsay’s weekly un-Intelligence Briefing proves consistently the mindset of many in the Christian right towards Israel and its struggle with the Muslim world. Israel is justified in all it does and is backed up by God’s word. Our government’s economic strangulation of Iraq is all right because Saddam is a very very bad man! Evil in fact, and anyone found to be against this war on “Evil” are confederates to that evil and against God. How about Gary Baur? Remember him? He’s been quoted in the Jerusalem Post concerning the Christian Rights support for Israel, Bauer, a former presidential candidate and head of a Conservative think tank who left Israel after a five-day trip last night, said that in the two weeks before US President George W. Bush’s speech on the Middle East, the Christian Right flooded the White House with e-mail messages. “The message was, ‘Mr. President, we pray for you every day, I believe God wanted you to be president. If you abandon Israel, you will never get my vote again.”
And watch what Baur has to say about the violence: “We believe you have shown incredible restraint in the face of the wanton violence aimed at innocent Israeli civilians. We reject the notion that America or Israel should be passive in the face of such violence.” Don’t you find it perplexing that the ones pushing for a holy war against Islam and for the suppression of our constitutional liberties come from Christian leaders? An intersection of interests has come about between many in the Christian right and the neocons in the corridors of power. Let’s pose another question here, is it not this kind of reaction from our Christian leaders that militant Islam seeks? Our government’s pretense that the struggle is against “terrorism” and “evil” unconnected to Islam is finished, and that the solution to this struggle is a “Holy War”, exactly achieving what Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida desire the most.
Perpetual War For A Virtual Peace

President Bush’s State of the Union confirmed what I wrote in “All Hail to the American Empire” that the so called “war on terrorism” is a sham and a facade. It is most definitely a war of conquest for the empire and the elites that run it. President Bush’s glaring omission in his address to congress, of the so called mastermind of 9/11, Osama bin Laden, confirms that this perpetual war on terrorism is a fraud.
President Bush played the conquering emperor to perfection. The mighty United States has just conquered Afghanistan, vanquished the ruling Taliban, liberated its women, and destroyed countless number of tents and caves. Now the oil conglomerates can build their pipelines without any interference from those pesky Taliban. By the way, where is Osama? According to our wonderful government, our primary reason for being in that part of the world was to wipe out al-Qaeda and its mastermind. Or was it the perfect mirage for the Bush government’s true intentions? The true intentions of global hegemony! Never mind bin Laden, according to our illustrious leader “King George”, we now have the “Axis of Evil” to contend with. Iraq, Iran, and North Korea are now a danger to our elites empire and must be dealt with. They are of concern to the United States not because of their alleged support of terrorism directly or indirectly pertaining to the 9/11 attacks, there is no evidence of that, much to the consternation of the war party. Rather, those countries are now targets because of their governments internal policies of acquiring “weapons of mass destruction”. This is now the perceived danger and falls under the rubric “war on terrorism”. The Bush government is disregarding all international protocol between sovereign nation states and needs only to dislike a government or regime and the targeted governments internal policies to justify naked first strike aggression. No matter who is president and emperor, there is never any need for a congressional declaration of war! No, that would be to restrictive and make running an empire that much more difficult.
Death of a Republic
Our constitutional government is finished. We will NEVER live in one as designed by the founding fathers again. Few have dared to write about the single-minded U.S. Patriot Act and its Orwellian implications to the remaining republic elements of our society. Rushed through Congress, the U.S. Patriot Act will be the engine that clamps down in all areas of individual liberty and restrict organized resistance to the elites. We are indeed at war within this country. It is a spiritual war. King George declared that we are at war with “Evil”, that the United States will fight for freedom and justice throughout the world. If anything, this nation reaps what it sows. Thanks to our elites, our government is NOT the protector of freedom and justice. No, it stands for exploitation and injustice of the most arrogant kind. By its very essence, it works to take further control of our liberties. The true enemy is within! Within our very souls, within this nations soul, between good and evil, light and darkness, truth and lies.
This country post 9/11 is living in a brave new world. Through fear, our government is manipulating the public into fighting a war against freedom and justice while believing they are fighting for it. It is the patriotic thing to do. King George and his attorney general John Ashcrof’s “Holy War” against evil, outside and within this country, is something to be feared! There is nothing more dangerous than religious zeolotry in the tradition of the “Nights Templar and the Crusades”, be it Christian or Muslim! Yes, I am accusing King George and his government of religious zeolotry of the worst kind. Attorney General John Ashcroft in the spirit of patriotic blackmail asserted that anyone found criticizing the U.S. Patriot Act only serve to “aid terrorists” “erode national unity” and “give ammunition to our enemies”. In other words they are traitors to the cause. You are either “with us or against us”. So, according to King George and his priest John Ashcroft, if anyone is against their policies, it is tantamount to being confederates to “evil” no less.
In the name of “Safety and National Security” what remaining rights we have left is quickly evaporating in our governments “war on terrorism”. History teaches when such policies and laws are enacted such as the “Office of Homeland Security”, and the “U.S. Patriot Act”, the natural evolution of such anti-liberty policies can only evolve into a dictatorship as its final outcome. The U.S. Patriot Act will produce a political police force within this country. It will be a federal police force charged with what is essentially a political mission, to seek out and find political dissent aimed against the ruling establishment. No direct evidence or indirect evidence is required, only an “association” with a known terrorist group or any entity or group that the President or the Attorney General labels as “terrorist”. This governments perpetual “war on terrorism” is quickly leading this country towards a police state. Yes, the sheep will be conformed even further, under the constant eye of the government. American’s with the knowledge of being under constant surveillance will “conform” to the acceptable parameters defined by the state. Databases of information regarding every aspect of our lives is being collected by our government. National ID cards or Microchip ID’s and closer monitoring by surveillance cameras are being discussed. It is the erosion of the “independent mind” towards a “collective mind” run by the state. All part of King George’s Orwellian perpetual war, “a new kind of war” – “a war on terrorism and evil” war is peace – peace is war, sound familiar?
A Enemy Within
There is a lot of secrecy concerning 9/11 and what the government knew and didn’t know prior to the terrorist attacks. There are more than 60 Israelis being detained, and according to government sources, with “tie ins” to 9/11. Fox news was investigating these highly secret events only to bury the investigation. According to Charles R Smith in his article: “US Police and Intelligence hit by Spy Network” writes – “In the wake of Sept 11 terrorist attack, the FBI has stumbled on the largest espionage ring ever discovered inside the United States. The U.S. justice Department is now holding 100 Israeli citizens with direct ties to foreign military, criminal and intelligence services. The spy ring reportedly includes employees of two Israeli owned companies that currently perform almost all the official wiretaps for U.S. legal, State and federal law enforcement.” Smith went on to write: “one company reported to be under investigation is Comverse Infosys, a subsidiary of an Israeli run private telecommunications firm. Comverse provides almost all the wiretapping equipment and software for U.S. law enforcement. Custom computers and software made by Comverse are tied into the U.S. phone network in order to intercept, record and store wiretapped calls, and at the same time transmit them to investigators.”
Back to the dropped Fox story… On Dec 11 2001, The Fox story by Carl Cameron, reported that the Israelis who were being detained quote – “investigators suspect that they may have gathered intelligence about the attacks in advance and not shared it”. Fox also reported that prior to 9/11 as many as 140 other Israelis had been detained or arrested in a most secretive investigation into the largest ever “spy network” operating in this country by Israelis. Fox also reported that the Israeli private telecommunications firm Amdocs is being investigated by the FBI for espionage. Amdocs is obviously the second company that Charles R Smith referred to in his investigation, the other being Comverse. These stories have been dropped by Fox and no one is picking it up, Why? Normally such a hot story about the largest spy network operating in this country with “tie ins” to the most viscous attack on our soil and on our citizens would be front page news everywhere! Ahhh but wait… you see it is the Israelis that are doing the spying many would say, therefore the obvious silence. No, I do not believe it is that simple. It is our government that has something to hide even more than the Israelis! The fundamental question here is – NOT, did the Israelis know about 9/11 in advance and kept silent for obvious strategic interests – like turning their enemies into our own, but rather, did they know about 9/11, and did they indeed notify our intelligence agencies, and that our “nights in shining armor” chose not to act on the Israeli information. If this is the case, then the real danger to us is our machiavellian federal government, more than anyone could have ever imagined.
