When ‘Change’ Delivers More of The Same

November 8, 2014

‘Wag the Dog’ is an expression which denotes, “to purposely divert attention from what would otherwise be of greater importance, to something else of lesser significance. By doing so, the lesser-significant event is catapulted into the limelight, drowning proper attention to what was originally the more important issue.”

Now, the Dog has been Wagged. Feel better? If you were voting for someone with an R beside their name you probably feel good. If you went for the big D, you are sad. No matter. The present trajectory is not going to change unless or until we take control of our own lives and our own communities.

What you just witnessed was a cast change of no real significance. One team of professional liars ‘D,’ is just giving liars team ‘R’ their turn. This is intended to distract us so we remain passive where it matters, here, where we live.

I understand why it happens. When we are hungry for hope, any hope, elections are very seductive. The fiery speeches and promises make things seem possible. But in the end nothing changes except the names of the rascals who are taking and spending your money and transferring more of your personal life to their direct control. Solving problems in our own community, ourselves, recedes into the distance again.

Several months ago I interviewed the candidate for Ohio’s 14th Congressional District. A classical Conservative was running. He answered every question asked just as President William Howard Taft or Senator Barry Goldwater would have done. He loved Barry’s line on gays in the military. “You don’t have to be straight to shoot straight.” He and Barry shared the same view on abortion, too, and on preserving the environment.

You had a chance to vote for him last Tuesday. No, it was not the Libertarian. The candidate was Michael Wager. He sounded shocked when I told him.

William Howard Taft, the president who went down to defeat in 1912, would have stopped the FED, nixed the IRS and made sure the Hetch Hetchy was not converted into a water supply for San Francisco. His views were known. He was a Conservative.

Oh. And the pledge of allegiance was written by a socialist whose goal was to stop the study of our founding documents in schools.

Direct governance by the people was the original form of government intended by our founders. We still need it.

There was no significant change because the Democrats and Republicans are merely two wings of the same liberal bird: the former the left-leaning wind, and the latter, the right-leaning (barely). There are no true conservatives in either branch:

“In politics, everything revolves around the positioning of right, left, and center. You’re either rightwing, leftwing, or a centrist. Politicians and non-politicians alike employ all three terms as if there’s a consensus on the parameters for those designations. Even if this were true, who gets to determine what’s right, left, and center, and how are those determinations made? Over time, the parameters shift (always further to the left), so how is someone on the right to know he’s now a centrist or a centrist to know he’s now on the left?

“There are no answers to these questions because there is no standard
for these terms. The terms are completely arbitrary, defined at any
given time by finite man and his fickle ethics rather than by Yahweh1
    and His immutable morals….

“Isaiah 33:22 and James 4:12 declare that Yahweh is the exclusive
legislator. There are no others, period! Anyone who claims the title of
legislator (particularly when his “laws”—whether commandments, statutes,
or judgments—are inconsonant with Yahweh’s) is a usurper and is
perpetuating the sin begun by Adam and Eve. The same is true for any one of us who would modify Yahweh’s triune law….

“Yahweh is the only lawgiver because as Creator He’s the only one with the authority to determine what is good and evil. His morals as codified in His commandments, statutes, and judgments determine what is right and left. Anything left of His right(eousness) is left, liberal, and ungodly….”

Rather than drawing the line between left and right mankind as humans should draw the line between right and wrong, good and evil.

You’re absolutely right. but that never happens without God’s Holy Spirit operating in enough people to offset the foolish thinking and behaviors of the demonic mob. We’re long past that tipping point. This is by God’s design. We’re at the end. Soon, all will be turned on its head. Two more years should just about do it. Bible prophecy tells us so.

  • Watchman on the Wall

The mistake this author, and many others make is appealing to the actions of man. We mistakenly believe that we are the masters of our own destinies. The simple truth is that we are not.

“Man plans his course, but God guides his steps,” Proverbs teaches the wise. It’s time to start paying attention to what has been right under our noses all along: the flawless, pure and inspired words of our creator God to mankind in the Bible. All that conflicts with it are foolish fables and lies and nothing more. God orchestrates every thought, circumstance and person which comes into our lives from birth to death to fulfill His perfect plan for His glory and for His elect. So if Americans continue to bury their heads in the sand like ostriches for another two years, it is because God has willed it that way. Nothing happens or does not happen without God willing it thus.

Nothing will change in the next two years. That much is guaranteed. Sure, the puppets in the chairs of fraud and deceit in Congress have changed, but the same puppet masters pull their strings. National politics is merely an illusion to deceive the naive and gullible masses into believing we live in a free and fair system, when the truth is precisely the opposite of this. We all know this deep down in our guts, but few have the courage to voice the obvious truth. We’d rather play pretend.

So let’s wait and watch what happens for the next two years. As for me, I’m good to go in two short years when Yahushua returns to gather His elect. My bride and I are SO outta here!!! This wicked and foul world deserves to perish in fire, as it soon will. God has spoken. Let the wise understand. The wicked never will. Daniel 12:10 assures us of this.
