How we trashed an entire continent in 150 years

September 30, 2010

On my coast to coast bicycle ride this summer, from San Francisco to Savannah, Georgia, I pedaled 3,300 miles across this amazing continent for the 7th time.  I witnessed astonishing sights from sea to shining sea!  Fisherman’s Wharf and crashing waves along the Pacific Coast to Yosemite’s magic!  I cranked the pedals up 10,000 foot Tioga Pass in the high Sierra.  I sat to eat lunch at incomparable Tenaya Lake while watching a mama bear and her two cubs scamper across the lingering snow fields.  My friends and I... Read article

Roger Waters and the Bombs of David

September 30, 2010

Ynet reported today that The Anti-Defamation League (ADL)  on Monday criticized rock star   Roger Waters for simply conveying the truth. During  Waters’ performances of “Goodbye Blue Sky,” in Toronto,  an animated scene projects images of planes dropping bombs in the shape of Jewish Stars of David followed by dollar signs. It should be noted that the clip also displays bombs in the shape of crosses, Muslim crescents and a fuel company’s logo. 2nc692sOW9U We had better... Read article

No ‘coming out party’ for gays in the military

September 30, 2010

The radical Left’s effort to repeal Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell (DADT), a law that bans homosexuals from serving openly in the military, has failed.  On September 21 the Senate Democrats were unable to achieve the 60 vote threshold to get cloture which was needed to advance a Defense Authorization bill.  Democrats included the repeal provision in the bill.  The bill authorizes $726 billion in military spending for next year and includes $159 billion for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and a pay raise for the ... Read article

New Australian footage of Neil Armstrong’s moon walk

September 29, 2010

From: PhysOrg.com / AFP… Long-lost footage of Neil Armstrong descending the ladder of the Apollo 11 lunar module will be screened in public for the first time in Sydney next week, a prominent astronomer told AFP. The footage runs for a few minutes and is considered to be some of the best footage of the historic 1969 moonwalk, but the film was lost in archives for many years and was badly damaged when found, said John Sarkissian. It depicts the first few minutes of Armstrong’s descent which was recorded... Read article

Billionaires Unite! (Against Public Education and Teachers)

September 29, 2010

In less than a week two billionaires have joined the anti-teacher “Billionaires Club”: a group of ultra-wealthy individuals hell-bent on destroying public education and teachers’ unions. The newest members of the club are Oprah Winfrey and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerburg. Winfrey has used her show — twice in one week — as a platform against public education. She first hosted billionaire Bill Gates to discuss his “philanthropy” in education, as he promoted the new anti-public education propaganda... Read article

Big Brother terrorizes more activists

September 29, 2010

It’s like McCarthyism all over again. On September 24, FBI agents raided the homes of some anti-war activists in Chicago and Minneapolis on suspicion that they were providing material support to terrorism. This follows only a few weeks after it was discovered that Pennsylvania’s Office of Homeland Security had been spying on activist groups in the Keystone State. The Chicago Tribune quotes one of the harassed activists in Minnesota as calling the searches “an outrageous fishing expedition.” Indeed.... Read article

It Is A Race To The Bottom For Global Currencies And The Winner Will Be Gold

September 28, 2010

From: The Economic Collapse… In 2010, any nation that has a weak currency has a very significant competitive advantage in global trade.  A weak currency means that the products and services produced by that nation will be less expensive for other nations.  Therefore other nations will buy more of those products and services.  When exports go up, employment goes up and more wealth flows into the country.  Alternatively, when the value of a national currency declines, exports do down, unemployment increases... Read article

Obama’s Inner Eisenhower

September 28, 2010

Is Barack Obama waking up to the agenda of those who produced his political career? Was his “Inner Eisenhower” on display last week in his televised speech to the U.N. General Assembly? Did listeners detect a distraught commander-in-chief seeking to bypass Congress and appeal directly to the international community for help in containing Israel’s expansionist goals? In 1948, the Joint Chiefs cautioned Harry Truman about the “fanatical concepts” of a Jewish-Zionist elite that sought recognition as a legitimate... Read article

The New World Order Feudal Enslavement System

September 28, 2010

“The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.” A letter written by FDR to Colonel House, November 21st, 1933 From times immemorial, the top down authority imposition has been the rule. This system of control is the reason why excrement discharge flows downhill. The feudal model works well for the lords who sit atop the pyramid. Essentially the New World Order is the supreme evolution of the subjugation... Read article

Jewish Boat on its Way

September 28, 2010

Haaretz reported this week that a boat carrying Jewish activists from Israel, Germany, the U.S. and Britain set sail on Sunday for Gaza, hoping to breach Israel’s blockade there and deliver aid. 9 Jews will participate in this brave mission: amongst them is Rami Elhanan, an Israeli peace activist whose daughter Smadar was killed in a suicide bombing in 1997. Elhanan rightly maintained that it was his moral duty to act in support of the Palestinians in Gaza because reconciliation was the surest path to peace. ... Read article

September 26, 2010

After controversy erupted when the University of Minnesota yanked the opening of Larkin McPhee’s new film, Troubled Waters: A Mississippi River Story, U of M officials gave the go-ahead for the October 3rd screening. The film explores agrochemical runoff and growing dead zones in the Gulf of Mexico. Molly Priesmeyer of the Twin Cities Daily Planet exposed a conflict of interest between U of Minn. and Big Ag: “Karen Himle is Vice President of University Relations, which is the office that determined the film needed... Read article

Shamir le fou et Thion le fanatique

September 25, 2010

My good friend and French dissident Serge Thion has written a fiery response to an old essay of mine called The right move (Fr: http://www.israelshamir.net/French/RightMoveFr.htm ) under the title Shamir gone mad. Apparently only now, after ten years of correspondence, has Serge finally apprehended that when I speak of the One State Solution I actually meant just that: One State, as compared to the infamous Two State Solution. Serge may be forgiven for not understanding the assumptions behind the term “One State... Read article

The Hate Mongers Among Us – Part 4

September 25, 2010

Staying on Message to Advance the Narrative… Keeping the “anti-Semitism” theme front-and-center remains essential to advance the hate-monger’s narrative with the assistance of mainstream media. Thus the Anti-Defamation League criticized the current cover of Time magazine for what ADL President Abe Foxman suggested was a portrayal of Israelis as more interested in making money than in striking a peace accord with the Palestinians. The article highlighted Israel’s booming real estate market and the pleasure... Read article

Israel Will Be Palestine

September 24, 2010

A meeting between Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad and Israeli deputy foreign minister Danny Ayalon ended abruptly yesterday. The dispute followed the Israeli deputy foreign minister’s demand that the meeting’s summary should refer to the notion of ‘two states for two peoples,’ rather than just ‘two states.’ “I wanted that at the very least it will note two states for two peoples. I demanded to know what they meant. One Palestinian state and one bi-national state, or another Palestinian state?”... Read article

Analyzing Extremism: O’Donnell vs. Coons

September 24, 2010

Unlike for most Americans, the Delaware senatorial primary was not my first introduction to Christine O’Donnell.  I remembered her from as far back as approximately two decades ago, making appearances on shows such as “Politically Incorrect.”  So when I heard about her supposed “extremist views,” I had to wonder if I was overlooking something.  It’s hard to forget such a pretty face, but did I fail to recollect some strange aspect of her ideology? So I did a Google search and quickly found criticism of her... Read article
