Rense Steps up to the Plate, Runs Guardianship Interview

On June 29, six days after an article appeared on Veracity Voice highly critical of Jeff Rense’s avoidance of the guardianship issue, the talk show host broke his years- long silence on the pervasive and problematic issue of adult guardianships and ran an hour interview  with reporter and talk show host Marti Oakley.

The covered the main concerns of those in the guardianship reform movement, and stressed not only the theft of assets but also the fact that many of the wards are having their lives shortened through actions taken by the guardians themselves, who are ostensibly pledged to protect the wards’ assets and well being. Oakley also discussed the legal machinations which are used to separate  the ward from family and friends, among other issues which make adult guardianship a disturbing blip on the civil rights radar.

A small firestorm had begun to rage on the Veracity Voice site, following the publication of the article by this reporter, which tied some of Rense’s prior pro-Nazi statements to his avoidance of the guardianship issue. Guardianship has been called a “holocaust on the elderly” and likened to the T-4 program in Hitler’s Germany. T-4, which targeted the same population that are potentially afflicted by guardianship (the elderly and disabled) was the first extermination program launched by Adolph Hitler.

Oakley had rushed to Rense’s defense, denying she had written emails concerning Rense’s pro-Nazi views which were first referenced by this reporter then posted in their entirety in the comments section.  In a virtual news black- out on this subject, Oakley had run a number of guardianship interviews on her own blog talk radio show a few of months back.

The purpose of a free press in a democratic society is to watchdog the government and, when necessary, to oversee the actions of other members of the press. The guardianship issue has been woefully underreported in the past and Oakley and Rense are to be congratulated for a fine, although somewhat tardy, show on this controversial subject.

             No.actually it didn’t.  That was the problem wasn’t it? “Small” was the operative word in that sentence. You thought writing that hit piece would garner you some attention and it fell flat.
    this was not a matter of rushing to anyone’s defense…….you used me, you used the guardianship issue to mount an attack in an attempt to promote yourself.  It was obvious and uncalled for and discredited you to a great extent.  You have done so again with this piece….the delay in that interview was not due to Rense…..it was my health and family problems that put things off.  Or were you thinking you were so damned important that he should have interviewed you instead?

             You are quite probably one of the most self-centered, self-glorifying individuals I have ever come across.  These two articles and your subsequent actions would preclude you from ever being considered a member of the press, unless of course it was tabloid.  MARTI OAKLEY

      I concour with you Marti Oakley. When Phelan approached me she always said “make sure you mention my name” Why? If she is self promoting why mention her name and she be so insistent. The story is suppose to be about the victim. Heck,  even NASGA, probate sharks, elderabuse.org and other groups never asked me to mention their name. Never,  only have self promotes Janet Phelan.

      yea Marti….seems like this so-called “journalist” lying snake needs to look up the word HYPOCRITE and in the case of her daddy -  she needs to look up the MEANING of the word TRAITOR as well….

          It was only by chance while reviewing my most recent indymedia posting
        here to and about U.S.Guatemala Ambassador Stephen McFarland regarding
        death threats to me from stock or ‘securities’ scamster Bud Burrell with
        his connections to Houston attorneys Wes Christian and the deceased
        attorney John O’Quinn that he was involved with in fraudulent court
        cases about so called ‘naked short selling’ instead of the illegal pump
        and dump penny stock frauds they were that I just happened to decide to
        peruse Matricide-The Gift That Keeps on Giving’.Then I took the Philly
        Indymedia link to see Janet Phelan’s own writing.Then I checked out her
        alledged fatherJames Phelan,( FBI Informant?) just briefly because I
        thought the name might be familiar.Indeed he does have a history of
        writing for establishment papers and journals before his death.But wait !
        He was trying to defame New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison and
        derail his case against suspect CIA agent in New Orleans named Clay Shaw
        and apparently invading and interjecting himself in D.A.Garrison’s
        office to gain access to documents….. ? And if this Yahoo groups board
        allegation is correct he was a friend to one of the suspects to the
        assaination of Kennedy,i.e.-Howard Hughes’ who I coincidentally mention
        in my letter to Ambassador McFarland in my most recent post here because
        the person who  has been threatening me on Geico billionaire son
        Patrick Byrne’s sleazy thesanitycheck.com ‘anti-naked short selling’
        conspiracy website,Bud Burrell was connected to Maheu before he dies in
        Las Vegas a few years ago at 93 bwcause both were involved in a penny
        stock fraud and illegal ‘pump and dump’ called CMKC Diamonds !

        It appears that Janet Phelan is suspect if she is not denbouncing her
        Catholic father for his interference in the Jim Garrison investigation
        into Clay Shaw’s role in the Kennedy assaination.And it appears her
        father James Phelan was writing a book on Texas’ oil billionaire and Las
        Vegas real estate speculator Howard Hughes before his death.

        in 1997 and he was using Hughe’s body guard ex CIA and FBI MAFIOSI
        Robert Maheu as an unbiased source ! So you can see what I just wrote to
        Ambassador McFarland that mentions the Bud Burrell – Robert Maheu
        connection as well as Burrell’s connection to ex FBI HEAD OF HOUSTON
        OFFICE DON CLARK AND THEIR MUTUAL INVOLVEMENT IN PENNY STOCK FRAUD WITH
        hOUSTON ATTORNEYS JOHN O’Quinn and WES CHRISTIAN.

        If Janet Phelan really lost her mother under strange circumstances involving an inheritance fraud or scam I am sorry

        but she is misleading right and left everywhere else and her father
        was a disinfo agent posing as a ‘liberal’ and honest journalist or so it
        appears.And while I agree that others were involved in JFK assaination
        and that ‘Poppy’ or George HW Bush who was in Houston at the time may
        have played a role – it appears that Janet Phelan’s father was up to no
        good in meddling and snooping around Garrison’s office in the middle of
        his Clay Shaw,et.al. investigation.

        Further more she states ‘my mother was a Jew and thus I am a Jew’ as
        if we’re supposed to reply,’Oh then you must be completely honest and
        above board in your dealings’. No it is a fact that Lee Harvey Oswald
        who was a key witness as much as a suspect in JFK assasination was
        killed by a ‘Jew’,Jack Ruby,and that Arlen Specter was sent to

        Dallas,Texas NOT to seek the truth about the death of Kennedy but to
        shut it up and intimidate witnesses as my article on the Philly
        indymedia points out at the time that he and the Jewish Senator Carl
        Levin of Michigan were lying themselves about unnamed stocks being
        ‘naked shorted’ in 2009 which showed to me that some Jews or Zionists
        had a vested interest in promoting the ‘naked short selling’ lie to
        divert attention from their own stock frauds against Americans in the
        U.S.markets as well !Oh what a tangled web we weave or have weaved
        around us…..

         

        Also I hope it goes without saying to an educated audience that Janet
        and her mother may have been ‘Jewish’ in their own minds but that
        doesn’t mean they are ‘semites’.Obviously watching her on a video she is
        a white American woman of European origin.

    As if this guardianship abuse isn’t enough.  Geezzzz
    All who have taken the time to APPRECIATE Marti Oakley’s efforts on our behalf would have known that the Rense show was pushed back for a reason, it didn’t suddenly get aired because of “this reporter.”  I have NEVER met Marti Oakley but have spoken with her and know she truely cares about the guardianship abuse issues.  Her personal life should not HAVE to be public knowledge but I will acknowledge that I knew Marti has some health issues AND she has just been in a family issue that COULD HAVE HAD VERY similiar results as to what has already happened to many of our loved ones.  Now, could we please quit slinging mud at everyone who doesn’t do it “this reporter’s” way?  Team work please.
